No matter how vigourous you exfoliate or how moisturising your lip balm may be, the Velour Matte Lip Cream will still manage to pick up on the tiniest dry patch on your lips and exaggerate it.
The nude shade that I had also dried down a lot darker than was in the tube to a colour I didn't like.
With the range of colours presented by the brand i was incredibly excited to test these out, but to my disappointment they weren't all that amazing at all. The scent of the matte lipsticks was nice and not too overpowering, and in the beginning the application was only a little streaky, but as the lipstick dried i faced problems. I moisturised my lips well before hand as well as using a lipscrub so i was sure there was no dryness, but sadly the lipstick was so matte that it made my lips look weird and dry before flaking off!
Tips: if you are after an incredibly matte lipstick that holds its pigment but flakes and makes your moistened lips dryer than the saharan desert then this is the lipstick for you
