Australis Velourlips Matte Cream

This is the best drugstore lip product I have tried. The colour payoff is excellent they're so pigmented. The packaging is really cute and the product itself lasts. It goes on matte like it says. It is very creamy and smells amazing too. I definitely recommend this lip cream to everyone. However I wouldn't recommend wearing to lunch or dinner, it does start to look rough when eating. And if you have to reapply you have to wipe it all off and start again. The hot pink and red stain your lips also which I don't mind but others might not like so much.

i have the velourlips in the hot pink and nude shades! firstly the colours are all so bright and have amazing colour pay off! they dry matte as they state but with mine they feel a little tacky on the lips (which i personally like but others may not) they are very long lasting and smell so good too!!!!

i love the colour that they come in! my favourite is maliboo, which i wear quite often. i find them very pigmented and once they are dry they are perfect for night out as its stays put no matter what. but i do find that after a while without reapplying that my lips do dry out very fast.

I love my velour lips , it stays on for the whole day without budging. There are only 2 downsides: 1) they are VERY drying on the lips, you wouldn't be able to wear them everyday but they are good for a once a week type colour 2) there is not much of a colour range and some of the colours are a bit strange. the pigment is however amazing!!

I saw Shaaanxo use the red shade in a makeup tutorial probably about a year ago and thought the matte texture and intense colour really made her lips pop, and put it on my "future to buy list"

About six months ago I saw the orange and the pink shade at Kmart, and was slightly scared off by the fluorescent pink, but talked myself into buying the orange because it was affordable and I'd never owned an orange lipcolour before.

Tried it out before going out drinking with friends that evening, was very happy with the texture, the colour and staying power. It didn't flake off, but it did come off slightly with beers- I've found since that drinks with straws eliminate this problem completely!

Since purchased the red and pink shades, and was pleased to find they both suited me too. Wanting to purchase the purple next.

Only real issue I had was with the orange shade- it doesn't appear to be as pigmented as my pink or red, and I usually need a second coat on my lips. However, I have to wait for the first coat to set completely first, otherwise I find it has a tendency to flake off or clump together when I try to add a second layer. Nothing a bit of patience can't fix, for my favourite bright colours to wear out.

This is a great product as it is extremely long wearing and doesn't budge throughout the day or during a night out. However, it feels very drying on your lips but is easily fixed by popping some clear lip balm over the top. One other minor disadvantage is that there is not a very big colour selection.

One of the longest-lasting lip products I've ever used. Without makeup remover there is no way you're getting these things to budge. They live up to their claims of not caking or flaking, but they are still too drying to use without exfoliating first and a good bit of lip balm after.

The main con is a lack of wearable everyday colours, as they seem to lean to the extremes.

I absolutely love these wee babies and what isn't to like when they offer a wide range of colours, beautiful matte finish with the only downfall being that they can be a little drying if you don't prep your lips properly. I own these in Hon-o-loo-loo and the metallic limited edition 'Grandmaster Pash' and love both! Highly recommend especially for price point.

These are great and affordable. I love that they're matte and last 3 to 4 hours though after awhile they do bunch up slightly on the lips. Some of the colours are not as opaque (I find mi-la-no and rio-d are patchy on me) though my natural lip colour is quite pigmented so that could be why. The red in this collection and hon-o-lu-lu are my favourites.

I love the Australis Velourlips Matte Cream! I love this product because I am a matte girl not a gloss girl! I have this product in three shades: Nycee, doobai and shanghai :) I wear shanghai and nycee pretty much everyday! I love the matte formula of these! It goes on nice and smooth and stays on all day! The only I guess 'bad' thing I have noticed about this product is that if you put on a thick layer it will start to flake! It rolls up and gathers in the inner part of my mouth and sometimes gets in mouth if I put on a tonne of layers!

They do have a wide selection of colours and came out with five new shades! (which are all beautiful) They have nudes, pinks, oranges, reds, purples and two darker colours that came out with the new collection :) So there's a colours especially made for every skin tone!

They are reasonably priced so if you're following a lipstick trend you wouldn't have to break the bank!

I wouldn't recommend this product to people who have crazy chapped, dry lips! :)
