i was very lucky enough to win the whole set of these from the Australis Instagram page a wee while ago, i love many of these shades as theyre bright and different HOWEVER they didn't last very long on my lips :( i wore a bright pink/shade to work and within 3 hours it was rubbing off into clumps, i had to wipe it off with a tissue as it got frustrating. i've also tried to mix 2 shades together and it didn't work very well, theyre highly pigmented but they did leave lines on my lips from the wand. other than that i love them and i would recommend to anyone wanted to try liquid lipstick for the first time!

Australis Velourlips Matte Cream
What is it?
Highly pigmented lips are the look of the moment, and this lip cream takes it to the next level with its beautiful matte finish! The creamy long-wear formula glides on easily with its doe foot applicator, finishing to a velvety matte look with intense, full coverage colour payoff. Perfect for when you want lasting, matte colour that moves with your lips without flaking.
Time for a change from gloss! It applies creamy, lasts all day and finishes with a soft suede look.A matte lip cream that moves with your lips so you don’t have to worry about caking and flaking.

Tips: -exfoliate your lips before hand, so they dry nicely on your lips. - don't be afraid of bold colours!
My go to lip cream! I use this everywhere i go mostly, and i take it everywhere with me. This product comes in a nice and easy to carry size with a nice applier. Its easy to apply with the brush thing it comes with. This does last reasonably long for me and i love the colours it comes in! Although you need to be careful after or while you eat or drink cause sometimes i find that it can get on my chin. You don't need a lipliner for this. It just does the job itself . This is highly pigmented. They do make my lips dry but i still love the look this lip cream gives. And i would definitely buy more colours in the future. I definitely use this alot though.
Tips: I would suggest that you either put lip balm couple of mins before you put this or put lip balm and then put this on. I do this sometimes and it doesnt leave my lips very dry still giving it a matte look!
I own the Velourlips shade "Ny-Cee" which is a wonderful pinky-red cherry shade that really suits my complexion. The finish is lovely too. It feels light on, and has a velvety, velour-like texture as promised.
It smells great too, and is easy to apply with the wand.
I also find that this lipstick has good staying power. The matte formula means that once it is dry it stays put during eating and drinking, with only slight smudging at the corners of my mouth. However, it is also quite easy to remove at the end of the night.
Tips: The only drawback is that the formula is quite drying so I wouldn't recommend wearing this everyday.
Finally got my hands on one of these after hearing all the rave about it. Squeal!! I bought Shanghai which is a gorgeous violet/plum purple color.
I love the tube and it's subtle lace pattern. The applicator is a fluffy doe foot (I think that's what they're called) and picks up product quite easily. I really didn't like the smell of it when I brought it close to my lips. It smelled like chemicals and sad polluted rivers. Luckily the smell goes away when it dries out, mostly. This has a creamy feeling and spreads evenly on my lips, drying out in a couple of seconds. When it's dried it literally doesn't go anywhere. It took a good scrub with baby oil to get rid of and even then my lips had left over purple staining. The only thing this can't stand is heavy oily food. I found out quite suddenly at burger king when my friend yelled 'Your burger has pink s**t on it! Stawp!! Aside from that though it's great! Just make sure to be careful when eating oily food that you don't rub your lips all over your food.
I love the colours in this range, but I don't find they wear the best.
They can be quite drying and I have had issues with the product balling up and crumbling on my lips. Its not too bad though and I do get a decent amount of wear from them before I have any issues.
Be sure to avoid greasy food when wearing them (as with any liquid lipstick) because it will eat away at it!
They are really affordable which is great, so I can deal with the bit of crumbling/balling up I get from them sometimes and will continue to purchase more shades.
Tips: Use a lip scrub first and make sure your lips are well moisturised!
Firstly I would like to thank Trudi for all the enabling she did during the Lipstick Challenge. I had never tried this before so when I saw it for $7 in my recent trip to Gold Coast, I had to get. I loved the hot pink color so much that the next day I bought the other two colors that the supermarket had-which didnt suit me at all(because it will a crime to not get it when they are these cheap).
The two nudes were a bit patchy and didnt last long. But the hot pink was up there. The packaging is clear so you can see the color you are getting and has a black cap. They have country names on them for the colors which is really confusing because I cant remember any of it now.
The pink one I found to be very longlasting-8 hours plus. Except for it fading a bit when I was eating. Didnt transfer much although it was drying. The nudes werent as dry but didnt last long. Thinking I got some duds I went to Farmers and got two more for $17. Gorgeous greyish brown one a mauve one. Loving the colors they have-also saw some black, white, green and blue ones!
The pink one is the only one that seemed to last longest but is also the driest. However the other two colors I got were very pigmented. Needs toping up but Iam not complaining. Its a good buy when its on sale or has GWP. Give it a go. You might like it. I have received many compliments regarding the colors. Only the nudes didnt work out too well for me. The darker colors are better.
I loved this matte lipstick! It lasted great through out the day and didn't have to re apply many times. It was soft and didn't feel tight and flakey on. I loved the red shades so gorgeous and fresh
I have the Australis Velourlips Matte lip cream in OH-SAKA, I absolutely love the colour! Most of the colours in this range I would like to purchase aswell. The formula is quite thick but its easy to apply to your lips, it does exactly what it says and dries completely matte and looks beautiful on. The only problem I had was it didn't last that long on my lips I had to reapply throughout the day but its pretty good especially for the price, I bought it on special at farmers for about $11. It didn't feel dry on my lips and didn't flake at all, it just wore off in places even without eating so I like to have it with me throughout the day for touchups.
I first came across this product when I saw someone else wearing it and had to ask what they were wearing - their lips looked velvety and the lipstick set and smudgeproof.
To my surprise they were wearing a very affordable lipstick, so naturally I had to try it myself.
This is a liquid lipstick, and although it calls itself a cream, it dries which a lot of creams I've come across don't.
The colour is well pigmented and long lasting, once dry, the lipstick stays where it should and it doesn't overly dry out the lips.
The only drawback I would say is that the formula can look patchy on the lips, especially over time.
I have a set of the minis of this - the brights I think it is. I cannot remember what the names of them all are but there's a bright Pink, a Red, A Purple & a sort of Orange/ Pink. I gave the orange one away as I hate this colour on me.
The other 3 I don't mind so much but they're not my faves.... They're quite bold statement colours that I just feel a little inappropriate in.
I find these glide on easily, they have a little soft wand in the cap. The purple I only really need one coat with while the others all needed at least 3 coats to not look patchy.
Once it dries it feels a bit strange to be honest, like I don't want to move my lips.
I do find that once I start smiling or talking a bit, it can crack a little but the colour stays on quite well. I find they start to feel a bit gritty after some time of wear...
The staying power of these is fairly incredible really! In fact I find them quite difficult to get off!
I also find them quite drying, so lip balm is essential.
I will keep these as I like to have them for the occasion where I'll need them but they are not my go to lip product.
Tips: Keep your lips hydrated - apply a good layer of Lip Balm well before you put these on.
