Saw the gorgeous Shaaanxo use these so I was like..omg..must get! Loved the colour, cute packaging but the product itself flaked way to much to be nice. I tried again with some lipbalm underneath and it was better but compared the Lime crime velvetines these are the really poor cousin

Australis Velourlips Matte Cream
What is it?
Highly pigmented lips are the look of the moment, and this lip cream takes it to the next level with its beautiful matte finish! The creamy long-wear formula glides on easily with its doe foot applicator, finishing to a velvety matte look with intense, full coverage colour payoff. Perfect for when you want lasting, matte colour that moves with your lips without flaking.
Time for a change from gloss! It applies creamy, lasts all day and finishes with a soft suede look.A matte lip cream that moves with your lips so you don’t have to worry about caking and flaking.

Tips: Use lipbalm , wait for it to dry a bit, then use on top
I have this in the shade Rio-D. It is a lot brighter and more neon then it comes off in swatches online! But it is very pretty. A bright, orange coral neon matte. When I first purchased it I was a little disappointed and couldn't really get it to work the best. It was patchy and streaky in places and when I went for another coat it went thick and tacky. I have since found out that using lip balm directly under it before you apply it works a treat. It lasts a long time on my lips but does start flaking off eventually, and not easy to reapply. Overall it is okay, but I prefer other formula matte lipsticks to this one.
Tips: Definitely use lip balm underneath for a smoother application!
Is good, such a nice strong colour a and is matte , but yet if you have dry lips or re apply through out the day it tends to get a bit dry and starts rubbing off, so just be carefull, wipe off and reapply, or moisturize lips first!
I love purely because of the colours. This range has such amazing, fun colours. Some might say that they are too bold but I love bold lipsticks. To-ki-o is my favorite shade out of this range purely because I do not have any other lipstick in such a vibrant purple shade. I only own three which are To-ki-o, Rio-D and Ny-cee and I love all of them! However I do not want to buy anymore just yet as I am not very fond of the formula. Matte lipsticks can sometimes emphasize the dry skin on your lips and these do that. I find that they are too drying on my lips and for this reason I do not reach for these lipsticks as much. They are a good lipstick to have in your collection though.
Tips: Invest in a lip exfoliater because as mentioned above, these can be drying and emphasize the dry skin so it is best to exfoliate before applying these lip sticks.
I really love my Australis Velourlips. I have the colours TOK-I-O, PA-REE and also one of the limited edition colours, Rhi-Rhi Wine-D. The colours are really great - TOK-I-O is a super bright purple (my favourite!), which is a more cool toned colour unlike most purples, and is suprisingly flattering! However, as much as I love the colours, the velour lips are quite drying, so I highly recommend prepping your lips well before application.
I have this in the colour Pa-ree and I'm not 100% sold. I love the creamy application and the matte finish but I found it really drying. I personally have to use another product on top of this (lipbalm usually) to prevent my lips from drying. The staying power however is great and will usually last me through the day if applied before work.
I was lusting over these for months until I finally brought myself some for Christmas, I was so obsessed with the pigmentation and the shades that I brought one each week.
They are heavily pigmented, and you need to exfoliate your lips before applying these because when they dry, you see every imperfection underneath. I like how you don't have to line your lips with lip liner when you wear these which cuts the time in half.
The matte creams are smudge free but you cant wear them for more than 2 hours before they are too drying. If your looking for longer wear I apply a lip gloss over the top which stops the cream from drying as quickly.
I have also noticed that the ones I first purchased have dried out a lot compared to the ones I recently purchased. The formula ends up more like a thick cream that is harder to apply. The only shade that bleeds once it is applied is Doo-bai, the rest of the collection do not bleed.
The new shades that have been released : Buda-pash, Doo-bai and Shang-hai feel like a different formula. They are pigmented but if you touch your lips on anything, some of the colour comes off. The other shades don't transfer on to anything.
I loved this product when I first put it on, it applies easy and looks super nice once it sets and you get the velvet look, but after about half an hour it started to crumble and bunch on lips and looked messy. I ended up having to remove it as it just started looking tacky. Loved the colour I got it in though ! Can't remember the specific name of the colour I got but it was a dark red/ maroon
These are good! I have in the shade pa-ree and it is a great nude shade with a lipliner as it makes it not too nude. I agree with some of the other comments that it can become crumbly and dry after a while. But great staying power and colour. Super affordable also
Tips: Exfoliate lips and lip balm before! For a glossy finish, top off with a lipgloss :)
I have this product in the purple colour. I really like the consistency when you apply it as it's really creamy before it sets to a matte finish. I love how this just makes my lips pop with colour. I wore mine to a 1950's inspired wedding and got compliments all night. I only had to reapply after eating a meal.
Tips: Apply only one coat of this product! if you apply a second coat they rub against each other and rub off.
