Love the colours but they dry out your lips so much :( colours start to crack and flake if you apply more than one coat... Prefer other matte lipcreams.

Tips: Only apply one coat
Great colours and Australis is a great brand, but all in all these are quite over hyped. Very drying, and once set, crack and wear off quite quickly.
I brought the beautiful coral colour velourlips after seeing Shannxo totally rock it! This smelled amazing, swatched fine but when it went onto my lips it totally cracked and looked terrible! I could not get this smooth at all! And once it was on it was there for good - a pain if you have got it of your lips! Definitely wouldn't purchase again - the chichi brand is much better
Tips: Make sure you don't get this outside of the lines - impossible to get of!
Pros - Lovely vibrant colour - Last a very long time
Cons - Thick consistency - Feels like tar - Makes lips goopy and sticky - Impossible to get off - just overall gross!
These matte lip creams are very very drying and made my skin flake off every time i wore them even though my lips are pretty hydrated. They are very matte and dried quickly which was a positive so i guess they did do what it said it would but i wish they weren't as drying. The product would stick to any cracks or dry spots on my lips and would be very noticeable every time i wore it which i didnt like. I guess this product is just not for me.
I brought two of these and personally i hate them. They are so drying and show every single line on my lips, wouldn't go out and buy again. They are extremely pigmented but that's all i could say was good about them. I really wanted to love these but i just cant :(
I bought this in the shade Pa-ree. I love the shade, the nude is so flattering on my skin tone and I actually like the scent of this, and application is easy and comfortable. However, it doesn't last long at all. Maybe after 20 minutes it started so crumble off my lips. Maybe next time I should prep my lips better, although upon application my lips weren't dry or problematic. So I was disappointed by that. Not sure if it was just this particular shade or they are all like that.
I was initially attracted to the Velourlip Matte creams by the colour range they offer. I found that they have some very nice nude shades along with some vibrant brights. I purchased one and found that the scent was nice and sweet but it was quite patchy to apply, once dry I found it was too dry on my lips and gave a cracked look. For now I use keep it in my handbag as a back up.
No matter how vigourous you exfoliate or how moisturising your lip balm may be, the Velour Matte Lip Cream will still manage to pick up on the tiniest dry patch on your lips and exaggerate it.
The nude shade that I had also dried down a lot darker than was in the tube to a colour I didn't like.
Received this free from a magazine a little while ago. Wow they are highly pigmented, thought as I'm mature woman should I wear these but what the heck, its summer and the color I got was Rio-D, I was really after the Mal-I-boo as pinks are more my color, but the orange went well with my tan. It glided on really nicely like a gloss but really creamy then dried to a matte.
Now after about an hour I noticed that the cracks in my lips showed up a bit more than I wanted, I don't have dry lips its an age thing (big sigh) so I put a nude gloss over the top and it seemed to hide the cracks a bit. It did last for hours, almost all day it seemed like. Now when I removed at night I did notice my lips were a bit dry so I just applied a lip balm and they were fine. If I see the pink color on special I will probably go ahead and purchase as it has great lasting power.
