Australis Velourlips Matte Cream

I had to hunt this baby down. Funnily enough the life pharmacy in my neighborhood had a whole stock of them. (I had been searching in farmers mostly) I purchased the bright red colour as to be honest, none of the others really appealed to me! I was blown away how pigmented these were. I made sure I prepped my lips well. Exfoliated then popped on a nice hydrating lip balm before applying. I wore it to work and received a number of compliments from the lads in the office which was nice! It lasted through my two coffees, morning tea and lunch before I needed a tiny touch up. So I was very very impressed. They are drying though so I doubt this will get much use in the winter when my lips tend to dry out.

These are just amazing. They have good pigmentation, don't budge at all from your lips. You can even eat and not have to touch up after and best of all, they don't rub off or transfer onto anyone who may be lucky enough to get a little lip contact from you! Overall, I just love to wear these on a big night out. At the end of the night, they are always the one thing that looks exactly the same when I get home as when I left the house.

I have these in three shades - the purple, pink and nude, and have tried the orange one also. I find the purple and nude ones apply really nicely and smoothly on the lips and wear well, but the pink and orange ones are not so great - possibly because they have more fluorescent pigment in the formula.

The finish of these is super matte but it's not at all drying on the lips. I will forget I'm even wearing this until I look in the mirror! It can move around a little after eating, especially if you're eating oily food, which will dissolve the product slightly.

I love how these come in such bold colours and they're so affordable, so definitely worth picking up!

I recently purchased my Velour Lips in the nude 'Pa-ree' shade and I'm so impressed. It glides on and dries matte, doesn't require a lip liner, and stays on for hours. I actually prefer my ValourLips to my Lime Crime Velvetines as it doesn't cake up and get crusty like I find the Velvetines do.

I adore the nude shade, I even wear it more often than my MAC Creme d'Nude and Velvet Teddy. I will definitely be purchasing more shades and then writing another review.

The only downside is I find the nude shade to be the most wearable, the other shades are a bright pink, orange, purple and red, probably best only be worn as a statement lip with neutral eyes.

I gotta say, love these things! I own the purple "To-Ki-O" and the pink "Mal-I-Boo" and they're bloody amazing. The pink doesnt suit me too well, and the purple is attention grabbing when wearing it out in public, but it's a lot of fun. I want to try the red and nudes. I do find these to be very drying, and after a while they tend to flake on my lips which i dont like. also, I cant get them off. Like ever. Which is good when it comes to longevity, but when they're flaking and I'm out doing errands and I just want them off, it just doesnt work. Maybe I will like the nude and the red better than the ones i have, but we shall see.

I loved this. I bought my first one in the colour Ma-li-boo from Farmers after a recommendation from a lady passing through work wearing it. The cream is so creamy and pigmented. I find it glides on very easily. It dries really quickly so you have to be quick when applying it especially if you want to add a second coat on. If it dries before you do this it can be tricky to do it without it looking a bit rough. It's quite easy to fix a mistake especially if you get it while it is wet. It dries really matte and I love that it is non transferable when it dries because I love giving my little girl kisses without turning her whole face pink or red. As the day goes on it can wear off in little flakes which can be a pain. I found that rather than trying to reapply on top it's easier to wipe the layer off and reapply so it doesn't look flaky and rough. One other thing I found was that it can dry your lips out a little so make sure you have a lip balm handy for afterwards! Ending on a good note though :Everytime I have worn this I have been given compliments or asked what I am wearing! I absolutely adore these and would definitely repurchase!

These matte lip creams are highly highly pigmented! They go on very smoothly however I would suggest blending quickly as they tend to dry quite fast. I love these, once they are set they stay in place all day! They do seem to dry out my lips however and accentuate dryness but I think for the price they are great with amazing staying power and colour pay off

My best friend bought all of them and they looked amazing! So I had to go out and guy my own. They're so highly pigmented and have a gorgeous matte finish. Plus they come in about 5 different colours! Unfortunately for me the bright tones don't match well with my pale olive skin. I had a little play and mixed the colours together and it worked perfectly! As long as I pack on the colour before it sets. Red base with a bit of purple blended on top makes the most gorgeous maroon lippy. They're so fun!!

I love love love the shade Ny-Cee. A beautiful red that stays on for an entire night. It is very drying so would suggest you apply a balm before. Once applied it instantly dries to a matte color and doesn't transfer or move. Highly recommend!
