Love the colour range! But this matte lippy has its disadvantages. For starters once applied to lips ut is very hard to get the colour distributed evenly, I have found there are always blotches where I can still see through to my natural lip colour. Secondly, it dries quickly so you have to be precise about how you apply it to your lips because like I said it comes out very unevenly on your lips. And thirdly it comes off so easily! Even taking a drink a few minutes after application it will come off. Apart from that I love the colors, so pigmented. And the smell is really nice.

Reviews
Love the coverage of these products. Great colours. Can feel a little cakey on the lips, and is a bit difficult to retouch after eating.
I'll be honest, this product isn't my favourite in terms of matte liquid lipsticks, however for it's price it's defintely a good option. There's a fantastic range of colours to choose from (I myself own 4). The let down is the formula. It's extremely drying on your lips, it crumbles off rather easily (and messily!) and you can't layer it. After you've eaten you can't just touch up the bits that have come off, you have to take the whole lot off and start fresh. But if you can't afford the more expensive brands of liquid lipstick then I say absolutely go for Velourlips!
Tips: Try not to layer it, it feels very heavy and doesn't look as good if you make it too thick.
The Australis Velourlips Matte Creams are great value for money! I purchased the Tokyo shade a while back and have loved the vibrant colour, when wearing it for a long time it can start to crack and rub off but that seems to be common in Matte lip creams however, i found that with my tokyo shade it became really drying. All in all Australis have come out with some really beautiful new shades and i will definitely be purchasing some of the other shades in the near future! :)
Tips: Before application, apply a moisturising lip balm or chapstick onto the lip as a base. This will help keep the velourlips product intact for longer and help to minimise the drying of the product. Also, try not to keep applying layers of the product on top if it starts to dry as this will make it crumble even more, it is best to just apply chapstick or lick your finger to dampen the product a bit.
I bought this in the shade Pa-ree. I love the shade, the nude is so flattering on my skin tone and I actually like the scent of this, and application is easy and comfortable. However, it doesn't last long at all. Maybe after 20 minutes it started so crumble off my lips. Maybe next time I should prep my lips better, although upon application my lips weren't dry or problematic. So I was disappointed by that. Not sure if it was just this particular shade or they are all like that.
Love this range, especially for a long day or night out as the matte finish saves me having to touch up as often opposed to the regular lippie!
Tips: Make sure your lips are exfoliated and rid of all dry patches
These lip creams are my favourite lip products in the world. I own 16 of them and recommend them to everyone.
Firstly, they're so easy to apply. The doe-foot applicator is the best and makes getting a nice outline and cupid's bow super easy. You can also reapply without a mirror pretty easily.
Secondly, the pigmentation is great and the colour is so opaque. The darker/brighter colours only require one layer to achieve a fully opaque colour while the lighter shades may require two layers. A number of the shades are also really similar to high end lip creams (Shang-hi is similar to Kat Von D's Bauhaus and Par-ee is similar to Jeffree Star's Celebrity Skin), I actually got mistaken for wearing KVD's lip cream when I was in sephora.
Finally, they last ages! They usually last all day without the need to reapply (unless you're eating, then you may need to reapply towards the middle of you lips). The only problems with them lasting so long is they can dry out your lips a little and some of the colours are a pain to be removed, red/pink shades may turn you into the Joker momentarily.
Tips: Apply lip balm before you start doing your makeup as it will help your lips not dry out, however if you lips are still wet the product might not turn matte as well.
Wait until the first layer is completely dry before applying a second layer, if the first layer is wet then it won't become more opaque.
If removing with a makeup wipe, hold the wipe between your lips for a few minutes, it will help remove the dry product.
This liquid lipstick smells really good. It's a very bright shade so it may be a bit bold for some people. It dries really fast and has good pigment but it does sink into the lines of my lips.
I have three shades and I love them all. They're all very opaque and comfortable and they have an amazing scent!! They do last a long time and they are very inexpensive. It's definitely worth trying
Tips: Take your time when applying and don't layer too much
Recently bought this product in mum-bai, and it was okay. I didn't find the colour as vibrant as it appears in the bottle. The product smells super nice though, I'll give them that. I'll probably use the rest of the bottle and most likely not purchase again.
