Australis Fresh and Flawless Pressed Powder

Drugstore products for me are a bit hit and miss and with australis, I've had a few hit. This pressed powder is gives quite a bit of coverage so if your using full coverage foundation, you might not wanna use this since it can make you extra thick. But its good for light coverage foundations. It does blur out your imperfections a bit and the mirror is very convenient so its good to just chuck in your bag for handy touch ups.

The only con would be the shades, theres only 3 shades from what i remember and they all look similar. I got the natural one which is why too light for me but i just use it to brighten up under my eyes cause thats where i need blurring and then my MAC MSFN for the rest of my face and even though i have dry skin, this does not emphasise and dry patches.

I love this! I have previously been using the Revlon Colourstay pressed powder until I was put on to this by a friend - much cheaper and just as good if not better. It's a really nice texture that doesn't go on looking cakey despite having pretty decent coverage and doesn't dry out my skin at all. Will definitely be repurchasing!

Where do I even begin? When I first discovered Fresh & Flawless (let's call her F&F) it was off the recommendation from someone on my beloved Makeup Obsessives page. I rushed into Kmart and nabbed is as soon as possible! I hadn't had much luck with powders up until then (we won't name names). They all seemed to break me out. When I saw F&F heaven opened up in the sky and we became soul mates. She is so smooth, fine and flawless!

It was love at first sight with the packaging. Classic black with pink lettering. It doesn't look expensive but it does look durable - and it is! A nice big mirror inside with a wee sponge is perfect for on the go! Although I don't use the sponge normally, I prefer a brush. The packaging does look cheap, however I don't mind it as it is very durable and a lot better than some other brands packaging (hint hint Stay Matte!)

The formula is soft and silky smooth, It feels lovely when applied and I have really noticed that it simply does not break me out ever - which is great! In fact I didn't even realize that it had things in it to help with breakouts until I read above and I can tell you right now, they definitely work!

I get mine in the colour Natural - which seems to work for most people. My skin is very fair and I did think it would be too dark, but it seems to compliment any light skin tones. It adds a gorgeous subtle amount of coverage to the face and provides a perfect matte finish. However, it's not TOO matte if you know what I mean.

It lasts absolutely all day! And I mean that. The product itself also lasts quite a long time and sometimes I really pack it on when I'm going out but it usually lasts me a couple of months (and I use it everyday).

The only downside I have is that Australis seem to have put up their prices perhaps? Because it's now about $18 at K-mart and around $20 at Farmers - and for F&F old dogs, it's a bit of a shock going from $14 to $20. Luckily I buy mine directly from the Australis website, however they don't ship to NZ so I get a family member in Australia to send them to me. They are significantly cheaper on there and I'd recommend it if you know someone in Australia. They're around $10. Otherwise wait for a sale :)

Overall, I would 200% recommend this product! In fact, I am begging you to try it! It will genuinely change your life. It fights breakouts, it looks amazing on, provides extra coverage, has durable packaging, lasts on the face and in the pan for a long time, and it's pretty cheap if you get a good deal. Seriously. What more could you want?

Oooo I love this stuff, It goes on as it says Fresh and Flawless & Stays Fresh & Flawless and the best thing about it, ITS SO DAMNED CHEAP!!!!!

Move over expensive powders because Australis Fresh & Flawless Powder is the way to go.

I love this powder! It goes on well with my E.L.F kabuki brush (the only brush I use for pressed powders) it covers nicely and doesn't leave the powdered look on your skin like some do! It has a good range of colours to choose from and it is a generous size to last a long while! Might have to powder your face again during the day though as it can wear off and go patchy as I haven't used this with primer before.

I LOVE this powder. I keep re-buying it the day i run out becuase it is just perfect for mattifying my skin. I use a combination of a translucent powder to brighten the inner, and this to mattify the outer of my cheeks and forehead. I simply love it! No breakouts, barely any oil, great colour. Brightening in summer, perfect shade in winder. Just perfect.

This product is really great. I have dry skin and it does alot for me. Sometimes it makes my skin look dry but on the whole I like it. It has a full coverage and you dont need too much to get coverage. Reasonably priced and lasts for quite a while.

Good press powder if you need a little more cover age,I love this over a primer if I don't need cover age. Can get a little cakey if reapplied a fair amount during the day but can only see it up close, still would keep it in my make up collection. Use it most days

I'm not lying, this was the first foundation I ever purchased. I was a young teen and I bought it in one of the darker shades and caked it onto my face and thought I looked fabulous :D

Its actually a very good powder, it lasts forever and provides good coverage. It sets a liquid well and comes in a nice little compact with a sponge. Very smooth and not grainy or thick at all.

I'd say it could be dupe for MACs studio fix powder, my current favourite, very similar packaging but I prefer the silkiness of the studio fix. A good, more affordable alternative though. I used it for years, managing to slowly move from the orange-brown shades to my actual skin tone, and its pretty much a never-fail pressed powder.

This is the first powder foundation i have used. I got this beacuse my nose sweats, like really bad i get dew drops in the winter time it is terrible. I got this powder in the colour deep natural and use it over my moisture mist. I really like the way it gives me full coverage and stops my foundation from coming off on my nose when i sweat. I also really like the finnish of it, my make up always looks fresh and lasts really well. I will definatly be getting this product again!
