Lovely product. Unfortunately I've gone too light for the shade I bought in sunnier times, but will absolutely purchase the lighter shade for the winter months. It's not cakey or powdery. Great finishing coverage. (I use on top of liquid foundation)

I bought this product a while back not really knowing much about the brand or anything but I was really desperate as I had started really breaking our majorly all over my face to the point where I wanted to cover my face till it was so caked with different powders. However, once I started using this product, I didn't have to use other powders to give a full coverage. The tone was perfect and so was the coverage, the most important things. I also found that this helped prevent my skin from being too oily and the oil certainly didn't re-appear after taking off the makeup. This product is very easy to apply with a powder or kabuki brush. It glides on easily enough, doesn't emphasise the lines in your face as so powders do, and it won't clog your pores and is easily taken off with a simple makeup wipe. So overall, this is a super great inexpensive product that I would recommend for anyone to try before opting for the high end products such as MAC or Bobbi brown etc. So definitely buy if you haven't already!
I will never use another pressed powder ever again. I have extremely oily skin and nothing ever lasts on me, I use this over my Revlon Colorstay Oil/Combo foundation and it is the best combo ever. I can go 4 or so hours without worrying about checking myself in the mirror and knowing I still look good. I can go up to 5 hours on a hot day without touching up. This stuff is a life saver, my holy grail powder - it never looks cakey either! The only downfall is the shade selection - 3 shades Australis? Come on.
Ive heard its a dupe for the Mac studio fix powder and id say they compare pretty closely. Its super super finely milled so it blends in flawlessly. It slightly adds a bit more coverage over top of my foundation but doesnt look cakey. The colour range is not very big but my colour matches my skin type perfectly. So im lucky there.
Tips: Press the powder in do not swipe, as it will move your foundation and make it go patchy
I use this powder every day and I am hooked! I am in Deep Natural and I find this is my perfect shade. I have quite fair skin but yellow undertones and this is just perfect. I feel it gives a touch extra coverage if you are one of those particularly bad skin days. It sets my foundation and concealer all day and keeps my skin matte but not flat.
Highly recommend!!
Tips: Use it with a big fluffy brush
I used to use TonyMoly's Cat Wink pressed powder religiously and never ever would use anything else because its just that good. Until I tried this!
I heard all the hype about it and that it was a good dupe for MAC, also my sister had been using it and loving it. So when I had some Farmers store credit I decided to finally give this a go.
And man am I happy I did. I was so surprised how good this worked on me. It kept my makeup so good in one place ans just lasted through out the day. On a 12 hour period I only had to touch up once.
I love it because it sits on your face like its invisible. You don't get that powdery cakey look that powders give you. Oh no, this products just looked like I was wearing nothing at all.
Whit the price only being $20 this makes it even better. The design is nice and sleek and has the signature pink Australis writing on it.
Tips: Use a brush for a nicer finish!
I haven't used many australis products (just this one and a liquid eyeliner), but this powder is really fine, and settles into my skin really well, giving a flawless finish that feels lightweight! Very good for its price!
I recently brought this powder and after it's first use I was hooked. I have it in Deep Natural which is a good choice for me but I was surprised at the shade selection, I could probably use the darkest shade. It's packaging is a nice, sleek and sturdy compact which is easy to open. I use my Real Techniques kabuki to apply and it picks up just the right amount of powder. It definitely sets my makeup nicely while adding a little more coverage then my other powders have but it doesn't make my skin cakey, so it's perfect! I find while it does mattify my skin still has a somewhat dewy look (I use products like lumi magique primer and foundation for a dewy skin look) so this makes me happy. I will definitely be repurchasing!
This really is a great powder foundation, especially for the price. I haven't tried MAC Studio Fix personally, but so many people have said that this is a great dupe for it.
My favourite thing about this powder is the fact that it has amazing, buildable coverage that is so non-cakey in finish - something that is often not the case even in quite sheer coverage powders. Obviously you can use this as a foundation on its own, or you can use it (lightly, or I find that it can start to look a bit obvious) over foundation to set it and add some extra coverage. I personally like using it with just a bit of concealer, for a really nice, "flawless" yet everyday base.
The only downside with this powder for me is that the shade selection is very limited - three shades, whcih are all fairly similar - nothing super dark or super light. I found that the lightest shade for me was just slightly too pinky-based to work perfectly on my very fair, warm skin. Obviously I could make it work, by blending it out really well, but it did mean that it wasn't quite as quick and convenient as I had hoped.
Overall: I'd definitely recommend - it's amazing quality for an amazing price! Just be aware that if you have a very fair or dark skintone, you may have a bit of difficulty finding your perfect match. xx
Tips: Apply with a fluffy powder brush to give a light application/set your foundation, or use a denser, kabuki brush (or even the sponge it comes with) to get a really full coverage.
Super cheap an super good! One of my more preferred pressed powers. However I do wish they had a wider colour range
Tips: Use kabuki brush to apply, works best for me
