Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion Review

Aveeno is such a brilliant brand, so I knew I would enjoy this before I even tried it. My legs were feeling very dry and irritated over winter, my regular moisturiser just wasnt cutting it. So I spotted this at the supermarket and gave it a whirl. My legs felt better after the first use! It gives a really deep hydrating treatment to the skin and applies really nicely. My daughter (age 5 with occasional eczema) had really dry and calloused hands from playing on the monkey bars, so I put this on her hands and they became soft and supple and hydrated again in 48 hours. Lovely, reliable, gentle product that delivers all it promises.

After using aveeno my skin feels so soft .I've been massaging my feet with it and ive got dry cracked heels and it has helped them alot.I cant stop rubbing my feet together as they feel so smooth and again the softness is great .This could be due to the fact it moisturises for 24 hours.which you then use less of which is great..I also have a bit of dermatitis on one of my fingers and ive been applying the aveeno and has helped my skin. And it says it protects dry skin which is also great .neat thing is it's dermatologist recommended. It's non greasy and easily absorbs into the skin.it wont clog pores so you are able to use on your face and anywhere else that needs care .I was trying to smell it but realized its fragrance free.so that suit people that are sensitive to smell. I myself love being able to smell products. This is a must have

I use Aveeno Skin Relief throughout the day as I am constantly washing my hands due to my job. Before I used this lotion, my fingers used to get so dry, but now I can feel them softening up again.

My Christmas presents last year to family was Aveeno Skin Relief and was well received & liked by all.

I suffer from psoriasis which can be pretty bad on my arms, so I like to have quite a heavy moisturiser that's not too harsh to manage the very dry skin problem as best I can.

This is a lotion that's quite light in consistency and normally I would prefer a heavier cream, but this was a cheap emergency purchase while on holiday as I had forgotten my regular body moisturiser. In spite of it not being what I would normally purchase, I was actually reasonably happy with the job it did. I wouldn't say it lived up to its claim of '24 hour moisture', but it did an adequate job and I have continued to use up the bottle. Sometimes in the winter months I will use a cheaper, less intense moisturiser when I know I'm not going to be exposing any flesh or when my skin is going through a good phase.

It's fragrance free and didn't irritate my skin at all. A massive plus is that it didn't burn my legs after shaving like some moisturisers do.

I have mixed feelings about the pump style bottle. It's convenient for getting product out for about the first 2/3 of the bottle, but I find them a pain when you're trying to get the last dregs out and I often end up wasting the last bit because it's just too much effort.

I'm not going to give up my absolute favourite moisturiser any time soon, but I would probably buy this again as a cheaper alternative for those in between days.

I get dry and itchy knees and elbows and let me tell you i have tried and tried many different moisturizers, tea remedies, aloe plants and maori remedies. Until one day i seen my sister in law use this stuff on her baby. I proceeded to ask if i could try some. Imediately it was cooling and relieving. I dont know what ingredients this product has different to the others, other than the obvious oats but by the evening my skin felt like the scaling had settled and my knees didnt feel so chapped. I love this moisturiser so much i purchase three at a time. please consider this product you will not be dissapointed

Highly recommend Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion it has done my dry red skin wonders! It is smooth and doesn't feel greasy and glides on nicely without taking ages to rub in to my skin. I use it all over my body mostly my face and problem areas like legs and face and have found a huge improvement in the feeling of my skin and the redness as well. With the price it's so affordable but it's so effective at doing what it promises and that is all I could ever ask for in a product.

I had dry itchy patches on my legs after being away in Queenstown on holiday, I picked this up at the supermarket since it was on special and claimed to be able to sooth itchy skin, and it worked. It has been really great for really dry patches of skin as well as regular due to the formula being really hydrating while really absorbent and non greasy feeling.

I do like the bottle with the pump action top nice and easy to squirt this lotion out, and when I get to where it doesn't come out I just take the whole pump thing off and stand it upside down. This is fragrance free and is not a greasy lotion and just slips on my skin, no dragging or sitting on top of my skin so doesn't take long to rub in it is a thick pale oatmeal colour looks nice. This I rub in from neck to toe as its light lotion I was a bit apprehensive that this would be enough for my skin as my skin is very dry, I had no irritation using this and it did a reasonable job of moisturising my skin. I did not get the 24 hours of moisturising with this, I did find straight out off the shower and while my skin was damp this was nice to apply and it doesn't leave any residue. And if I put on lots and rubbed it in and stayed naked for a few minutes before getting dressed and let it really soak in It gave it a better chance of working. So price wise I think this is a good buy as I did get some dry skin relief and my skin looked soothed using this.

I have been using Aveeno body lotions for a little while now, and I really love them. 1. They are really great for skin issues. I have dermatitis and dry skin, so I really love using this. I find that it doesn't irritate my skin at all, and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. 2. Really hydrates my skin. I often find that when I apply a lotion in the morning, in a couple of hours my skin starts really dry again. This doesn't happen when I use this lotion, I find my skin feeling hydrated all day. 3. While I do find it a little pricey, I think it it is worth it because the bottle lasts for a long time, and I know I am using a quality product on my skin.

Having been on potent acne medication early on the year, I had been prescribed Aqueous cream which is bluntly gross and so hard to use. I saw this in the supermarket and decided to try it as it was fragrance free (my skin was super dry and irritated froom Acctutane). That was 12 months ago and I've been off the medication for 4 months now and still love how this feels. My skins not as dry and feels amazing. Looking forward to seeing how it goes in winter Where my sensitive skin tends to play up.
