Aveeno Positively Radiant Intensive Cream

I love Aveeno products and this is one of my favourites. I use this a lot in the winter when my skin is feeling a bit dryer than usual and a few times a week in the summer. It keeps my skin moisturised and soaks in quickly!

My daughter gave me this a few weeks ago as an early mothers day present. I had run out of my previous Aveeno moisturiser.

I like that this is in a tub instead of a bottle, as I like to be able to see exactly how much cream I have left.

This smells really nice and fresh and like other Aveeno products this doesn't feel yuck on my skin. It soaks into my face quickly and makes it feel well moisturised.

This review is for the use of this product on oily/combi skin.

I didn't plan to try this at the first place, as NZ products are my priority. But I finally couldn't resist the special sale (12$) so I decided to give it a try.

The jar is not too big and I suppose it's quite convenient to bring a long on travelling.

My biggest crush on this cream is its texture, it's not too runny or too thick. Parts of my skin can be very oily, so I really try to avoid thick cream as it can cause acnes. This moisturiser works well and leaves my skin smooth yet not oily in the morning.

My second biggest crush should be the scent, a subtle fruity scent... quire refreshing I suppose.

However, I am not quite sure if this cream works well for dry skin. The U part of my face can get dehydrated sometimes and I must say this cream is not enough. What I did was mixing the cream with few oil drops for that part.

Overall, this product can work quite well for oily and normal skin. But if your skin is extremely dry, you should consider carefully before purchasing

So i have very sensitive skin and I LOVE aveeno and to begin with I loved this product but i had a very bad reaction combined with the cleanser. And i love night creams so was so sad =( but I think it was must my skin reacting to a normal product as this range is incredible and is designed for skin like mine.

This is a must for night creams as it doesn't leave your skin feeling yuk and oily like others. My skin feels healthy and hydrated and just nice and silky smooth after using this and it just feels so so fresh. It smells so nice and its great for my sensitive skin and is a great price too.

I only purchased this product because the budget was tight and I couldn't afford my favourite Olay Regenerist night cream. It was on special at New World for only $10, which turns out to be a great bargain. The first few times I used it I wasn't too sure on the consistency, it reminds me of an old fashioned cold cream in that it appears greasy and looks a bit lumpy in the pot. However a little goes a long way and once rubbed onto your skin it quickly absorbs and leaves skin feeling fresh and well moisturised. It has a pleasant fresh scent which reminds me a bit of cucumber. So it turns out its not at all greasy and I haven't had any reactions and my skin isn't greasy in the morning, and I have no break outs from it. Good value for money.

I picked up a bottle of this because I just needed a moisturiser for my face. What a wonderful surprise I got when I purchased this. I used it every morning and night and my face got smoother and my complexion got clearer as well. I haven't had skin this great for so long, I can't remember the last time.

This was my first time using this product as it was on sale at The Warehouse I couldn't resist trying it,

Before starting use my skin was dry, oily and just horrid.

The first time I used this I was skeptical especially when I saw the texture of this but WOW!

Within a few days of using this every night I noticed a subtle difference. Within a week My skin felt refreshed and nourished.

I couldn't be happier with my skin now and I'm amazed and just cannot believe the difference.

The only drawback is it should really come in a bigger jar, But it is quite cheap ($12.00 on sale at The Warehouse :).

I got this for my mum for mothers day and picked myself up one as well. I usually like Aveeno products (although I have had massive hits and misses from them).

The packaging on this is lovely - I like the natural looking colours and the fact that it is in a jar is a nice change, although I usually prefer a tube.

Unlike most moisturisers I have used, this one has an odd texture - it is almost like a cross between moisturiser and a gel. It feels slightly jelly like to apply but is absorbed quickly, easily and with no fuss or problems.

I like how this feels on my skin and it makes my face feel soft and silky. I am not sure it looks luminous as I apply this at night, but as a moisturiser in itself I like it.

The other thing I really like about this is that the scent is super subtle. It is just barely detectable to me, which I like. I am not a massive fan of putting highly fragranced moisturisers on my face as my skin is slightly sensitive.
