Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser Review

This is exactly what it says – extremely gentle cleanser.

It was gentle, non-stingy, removed my makeup (even mascara) and cleansed my skin without leaving that dry, tight feeling after wards.

The scent is pretty plain and clean smelling (I wonder if it is actually ‘unscented’?). No harsh fragrance, a little like a very mild soap smell.

The consistency is quite runny so you don’t need much to cover your entire face. Its texture and smell reminds me of the Cetaphil cleanser actually.

I’m not wowed by this product but at the same time I do like it. I have to admit the price tag would put me off repurchasing this one I’m afraid. I just don’t think it is an all-time favourite to bother splashing out that much cash.

The name kind of sais it all is is a extremely gentle cleanser.

In fact i jist think ita to gentle well for me. I like a cleanser that washes off my make up and with this cleanser its so gente and creamy it doesent do that.. Maybe its a cleanser to wash woth in the morning without makeup.

I would totaly recomend thos for someone with very sensetive skin its a good cleanser.

After reading reviews suggesting this product was highly recommended for sensitive skin I decided to try it out as I was going through a bout of periorofacial dermatitis. It did not provide me with the miracle response I had hoped for this especially considering that it came at a cost higher than other sensitive friendly facial cleansing products that I have used. I found that it still did aggravate my skin condition although to a lesser degree than non sensitive friendly cleansers might. All this said skin conditions such as this can be so individual in how they respond to particular products so it is still worth trialling to discover if it can be of help for another with such skin disorders.

I have a combination skin, I wear little to full coverage make up 4-7 times a week, and a great cleanser is what I need to clean my face.

I tried this after reading great reviews about it, it was a little pricey but I thought I'll treat myself to a nice cleanser.

It doesn't have a smell to it, which is great for those who doesn't like products with fragrance on it. The consistency reminds me of Clearasil.

I was very satisfied how it managed to strip off my make-up on my face. After rinsing my face and patting it with a towel, I usually apply my toner using a cotton pad. With this product, I can tell that the cleanser has stripped off all of the make up on my face.

Would love to repurchase but it was too pricey for me. But I'd really recommend it to those who has trouble removing their make up.

Love this cleanser. I find it nice and gentle and that it works well. But it is hard to find and involves me searching for it which is the one annoying thing about using it.

I have sensitive skin and so far no adverse reactions. Its mild and gentle but does the job. Has helped with my maskne too, while not being over drying.

Its reasonably priced also.. I am happy to pay the $ but just wish it was easier to find.

I was given this as a gift, and decided to keep it by my bed for those nights that I am too tired to wash my face and do my skincare routine. It is so lovely to use, I put a small amount on a reusable pad, and it wipes across your skin so softly, and removes my (minimal) makeup really well. I have a funny thing about using active skin care products after a no rinse cleanser so I on the nights that I use this cleanser I finish up with a moisturiser and that's it! I feel like I am looking after my face but in a very low effort way! I see in other reviews that some people rinse this off, which I might try as well. Due to being gifted this, I havent looked at the price, but this is a large bottle which will last a while, so I am happy!

I've never used a cleanser before, and I was really surprised at how fresh and clean my face feels after using it. It manages to get all the oil and grime off my face and leaves my skin feeling lovely and silky smooth. It doesn't foam up at all, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. The scent is very plain, quite clean, like soap. It's quite nice and I really like using this cleanser.

I bought this for a trial and I felt like this did say what it would but didn't work as great as it did. I recommend it as it is a good product to use. I would certainly use it again if I got the chance.

This does such a great job of cleaning my face. I use this every night before bed. It does a great job of cleaning my pores out, places that are usually rough on my face from having dirty pores, are always smooth after cleansing with this.

I do find that my face feels dry after washing, but because I have oily skin I feel that this means it is cleaning my face well. If I apply a good moisturiser afterwards, my skin is silky smooth.

In the morning my skin feels great, I just use a cleansing wipe and my morning moisturiser and my face is clean and good to go.

I need hardly any product to clean my whole face, which makes this last a long time.
