Avene is now my HG skincare

I have struggled for years with skin that gets dry easily, with flakey patches and red areas aruond my nose, mouth and chin. In winter it is worse, with dehydrated skin that accentuates fine lines. Then at the end of last year I started getting dermatitis - red itchy patches around my chin and lips. It was so awful I always needed to cover it up with makeup, which only made it worse.

Now I only use Avene. Its rich and moisturising, but light and non clogging. My skin is healing well, and feels plump and moisturised. I highly recommend this cream if you need something richer, otherwise any avene moisturiser to suit your skin needs. Its just so lovely. Thank you Avene!

Thick moisturiser useful for dry skin

This moisturiser is exactly what it says on the label by having a very rich creamy texture. Works great in winter when I have dry skin and best used at night time. I find that it does take a while to absorb fully into my skin because of its thickness, and does leave my skin slightly greasy while absorbing. It does a great job of keeping my skin hydrated when its super dry and I also use it on my neck in the day time if I don't want this under my face make-up.

Tips: A little goes a long way so this jar can lasts ages!

magical stuff

This little pot of rich moisturising goodness is truly magical. It comes in a small glass jar and costs around $50. This seems expensive, however one jar lasted me all winter. Quite concentrated, this, like all of the Avene products is based on their thermal water and is aimed at sensitive skin. Although rich in moisturising quality, the cream itself is light and quickly absorbed. I swear that my skin actually glowed when I was using this stuff. It's like the perfect antidote to dry air conditioning and cold temperatures. I have just bought my jar for this winter so I'll be prepared for the cold changes.

Tips: I would definitely recommend this little jar of magic for anyone suffering from environmental sensitive skin.
