I bought this back from a recent trip to Melbourne, as I had heard good things about it. It would be perfect on a hot summers day, when you need a little pick me up. Granted, it is water in a can but if you're on the go, travelling or just after a woke out at the gym, it's pretty handy to have on hand!

Some may find the concept of this product confusing - or like the product isn't useful. However, as someone with sensitive skin and rosacea, this product works wonders. Avene is known for its gentle products, with safe ingredients that do not irritate the skin. I was recommended Avene over a year ago by a pharmacist. The thermal spring water is perfect for any days when your skin is irritated or inflamed, warmer weather, after the gym, or whenever you want to feel fresher. The spray is a fine mist and dispenses a great amount - not too much and not too little. It feels cooling on the skin, makes me feel fresher, and quickly reduces any signs of redness or irritation on the skin.
Tips: The pharmacist also recommended not too shake the can. As this can disrupt the active ingredients.
I adore this product and mostly because it literally helped get my son through a very rough time in hospital. I know this sounds strange but bare with me. My 15 year old son (with Asperger’s syndrome) was hit by a car 6 months ago and suffered severe injuries. He was in hospital for a week and had 2 surgeries and the thing that he found the hardest was how dry his face felt. It was 5 days before he could get out of bed and have a bath( he couldn’t stand). This spray literally got him through and helped him feel a little less anxious about how dry his hands ,feet and face felt. When he was due for surgery he wasn’t allowed to drink so being able to spray this in and around his mouth made him much more comfortable. We went through 2 small bottles of this and I eventually got hold of a large one. I now use this after cleansing before I apply my serums and all over my body to cool down. While I don’t believe it makes a huge difference to the complexion this simple bottle of water is now a staple in our household. We have bottles of it all over the house including the fridge which we use to cool down after exercise or being in the sun. It is often on sale at Life Pharmacy and it’s available in 3 different sizes. This could definitely be described as a non essential product but if anyone in your family has sensory needs or you just love the feeling of a mist then this thermal water is perfect.
Tips: Pop it in the fridge and use it on sunburn
I use this inbetween steps in my skincare routine and I love it. It makes my skin feel extra dewy and hydrated. Would reccommend for anyone with dry skin looking to expand their skincare routine
Avene is a lovely French brand based on minimalistic ingredients that are aimed at sensitive or damaged skin. The Avene Thermal Spring Water is the focus of the brand, and is contained in many of their products. I don't have sensitive skin, however I thought the Avene Thermal Spring Water would be a lovely product to add into my skincare routine. I am currently removing my makeup, cleansing and then using the spring water before or after toning. I'm not sure that this is the best place for it in my routine, and I may change this later on.
The Thermal Spring Water sprays softly onto the skin, somewhere between a spray and a mist. It is refreshing, cooling and absorbs and dries quickly. It doesn't have a scent and one quick spray is enough to cover my face and neck. I don't find the product getting in my hair or on my clothes, although it is applied so lightly that I wouldn't notice if it did. As I'm not using the product to treat any skin conditions, I haven't noticed any differences in my skin, other than it feeling refreshed at the time. I am looking forward to using this product in summer, possibly during the day over my makeup. I will also use it if I ever have any dry or irritated patches of skin as it is known for it's healing properties.
Tips: This product is available in a small, travel size which would be a great way to try it out. I often go to shake this product before use as it is like a hairspray can, however it is not meant to be shaken.
I found this spray to be a really nice way to deal with dry skin. I picked it up after a long flight and found that the cool moisture worked well to wake me up, and to help my skin recover. I mainly use it on days that I have been in air conditioned buildings a lot, but my sister uses it everyday on her make-up - to help it set. So it is a very versatile product.
Tips: Keep it in your car to help you wake up and refresh on long journeys.
I love to use this spray for summer. It gives me a lovely spritz & refreshes my skin so nice lifting of the heat. It's a straight forward spray that has no scent &just; soothes & calms me.
I picked up a couple of these bottles while they were on sale and have to admit they are very nice to have on hand. However, I'm not sure if I would pay full price for them.
I have one bottle in my car for when I'm doing work outside and one in my gym bag. It's a great way to quickly refresh and help with redness. On hot days, it's an absolute life saver and my partner has started stealing it out of my bag to use at work, too!
i used this when my skin had serious irritation and this soothed it well ,the mist is very fine and gentle ,but you do need to pad it dry after you spary it or it will dry your face alittle bit ,for super hydrating its not enough .
I bought this as I know face mists come in handy for various applications. This is scentless (unsurprisingly) and I like to use it on flights as this is meant to keep your skin hydrated. However, I'm not sure about it's hydrating properties, it kind of evaporates and my skin is back to normal. I also use it to moisten leave-on masks for easier removal. It is quite cooling in summer to spray it on your arms and legs as it mimics the effects of perspiration.
