This product is fantastic! I have been using it for years, after being reccomeded it by my mum. We have quite similar skin types, sensitive and very fair. So the whole Avene set of products are fantastic, but this one is just a great go to at any time, whether it be in place of toner, as a mist when you are feeling hot or just to refresh makeup, make you feel a bit more peppy after a long day. My 5 year old daughter loves it too when she has a temperature or is just really hot from playing she asks for a spritz and she says it cools her down and makes her feel better. There was no irritation, it has not much of a scent to it so nothing there to cause you to get a shock when you spray it. Just nice, refreshing mist that makes your skin feel super hydrated after each spray.

Tips: Use it anytime, carry it in your handbag.
This is icredibly refreshing! Great in the summer to throw in your bag to refresh your makeup or give you a midday perk up! The thermal spring ater is restorative as well so i do feel my skin is more hydrated and less prone to dry patches. It helps make my skin less tired looking!
just like water... it's refreshing and cooling and soothing! nice for a hot summer day or when your day is feeling a bit parched and red and irritated:) but not something i would use over and over again but then again it's not what my skin needed
This is an incredibly basic concept and that is the beauty of it. Think about long hot Summer days, you're so hot you feel like your skin is melting. If only there was a way to refresh and cool yourself without ruining your makeup - Enter Avene thermal water Spray.
The can emits a light refreshing mist of water, which gently cools your face without drowning it. This makes it great for putting in your hand bag on hot days, or if you'e like me and often break out in rashes it makes for a soothing spritz.
I know that this is essentially just water but a small can is fairly inexpensive and lasts a while if used sparingly. Some may think its a bit unnecessary or excessive but I bet they wouldn't complain when you pull it out of your bag on a sweltering hot day.
I love this and will definitely the buying more of this in the future!
I was recommended this when I first moved to New Zealand, it was mid winter and I was suffering with what I called 'old looking skin'. It was just really dehydrated from the outside cold and overly heated and dry inside air. Packing on moisturiser just made me break out but this was, and still is, a godsend. Fragrance free, this fine misting (thermal) spring water provides a refreshing spritz anytime any where. I use it after applying makeup to dampen down over powdering, I use it during the day to make my face feel fresh. After my nighttime cleanse and moisturise I add a little spritz. If I have a cold and my head is feeling really hot and puffy and my nostrils sore and sensitive- I have a little spritz. It doesn't irritate so it's perfect for everything.
I received a can of this amazing water in a goody bag at a product launch. I love this range and was eager to try it. The can comes in different sizes, one of which is perfect handbag size. I have used it after I take my make up off, which is so refreshing and I have used it on hot summer days to freshen up. It is a light refreshing mist so fine it dosent mess up your make up. It is now a regular part of my beauty routine and a staple item in my bag.
I absolutely love this product! I had previously only used it on sunburn (so soothing and cooling!) and while travelling - it is lovely to freshen up with. After attending a training and hearing it recommended as a toner following cleansing, I have incorporated it into my beauty regimen and am enjoying it's soothing, moisturising effects.
I found this spray to be a really nice way to deal with dry skin. I picked it up after a long flight and found that the cool moisture worked well to wake me up, and to help my skin recover. I mainly use it on days that I have been in air conditioned buildings a lot, but my sister uses it everyday on her make-up - to help it set. So it is a very versatile product.
Tips: Keep it in your car to help you wake up and refresh on long journeys.
I bought this as I know face mists come in handy for various applications. This is scentless (unsurprisingly) and I like to use it on flights as this is meant to keep your skin hydrated. However, I'm not sure about it's hydrating properties, it kind of evaporates and my skin is back to normal. I also use it to moisten leave-on masks for easier removal. It is quite cooling in summer to spray it on your arms and legs as it mimics the effects of perspiration.
Avene is a lovely French brand based on minimalistic ingredients that are aimed at sensitive or damaged skin. The Avene Thermal Spring Water is the focus of the brand, and is contained in many of their products. I don't have sensitive skin, however I thought the Avene Thermal Spring Water would be a lovely product to add into my skincare routine. I am currently removing my makeup, cleansing and then using the spring water before or after toning. I'm not sure that this is the best place for it in my routine, and I may change this later on.
The Thermal Spring Water sprays softly onto the skin, somewhere between a spray and a mist. It is refreshing, cooling and absorbs and dries quickly. It doesn't have a scent and one quick spray is enough to cover my face and neck. I don't find the product getting in my hair or on my clothes, although it is applied so lightly that I wouldn't notice if it did. As I'm not using the product to treat any skin conditions, I haven't noticed any differences in my skin, other than it feeling refreshed at the time. I am looking forward to using this product in summer, possibly during the day over my makeup. I will also use it if I ever have any dry or irritated patches of skin as it is known for it's healing properties.
Tips: This product is available in a small, travel size which would be a great way to try it out. I often go to shake this product before use as it is like a hairspray can, however it is not meant to be shaken.
