As someone what struggles to sleep. Someone that has tried almost everything and is on sleeping pills every night, I needed to try this as well.
The wee tin pot is super cute! Once it's finished I'll wanna use it for another purpose. It's easier to twist the lid off than just pulling it off.
The product inside is very firm! It's cold here in the Deep South so that might change in summer. I have to dig my finger nail along the top to get the product out.
The routine of rubbing it onto temples, onto your chest and under your nose must help to the soothing before sleep. Husband quite enjoyed me slapping it on him before he went to snooze land.
I do enjoy the sleep balm. It's not the knock out I need, a hammer would be good I'm guessing :( yes I will use again, so will the farmer hubby (even if he says no!) Lavender is calming to me so I try and do deep breaths with it.
I have skin that reacts to perfumes, but it's totally fine with this
I really like this stuff. I was tempted a while ago by lovely ladies in the forums and so made an order from iHerb. I'm always looking for new things to make me sleep better so I couldn't wait to try this.
The balm comes in a tin which is kinda hard to open - it doesn't twist off but pops off with difficulty, I'm yet to work out a way to get it off easily. I apply the balm to my wrists, feet, under my nose, my neck, my temples... literally anywhere, and not in that order (if I put any on my feet it's last!). It's easy to get enough on your finger to do this, and it massages in really easily.
The smell is... different. It's not overly lavender-y and it's definitely not overly bergamot. It IS however, a really nice combination of the lavender, bergamot, rosemary... everything. Every scent in this balm marries so perfectly together, and it really is quite relaxing.
I find that the balm doesn't send me off to the land of nod but it does help my brain to relax. A lot of the time it smears onto my pillow, and I can still smell it the next morning. It's a gorgeous product and I'll buy it again :-)
