I got this in my GoodieBox a few months ago & I love it! I feel it does calm as it works wonders on my kids. I also use it to massage (although you need a lot of it for that) I love the smell & cute little tin!!

Rosemary is the traditional herb for clear thinking, confidence, and memory. Bergamot is mentally uplifting, and Ginger is strengthening and confidence-inducing. Balsam Fir is refreshing, like a walk in the woods, while Lavender is the traditional sleep herb fresh and relaxing. I myself am a very restless sleeper. I have tried many products on the maket not only for myself but for my daughter as well. My daughter calls this the magic sleepy time balm and if is feeling abit unsettled and restless asks for it for. By massaging alittle on her temples she relaxes. She and i loves the smell also. Very relaxing fragrance. Highly recommend even those with sensitive skin.
I've purchased this recently and have been using for about a month. I've got to say Lavender is not my fave fragrance but for some reason this blend with the Bergamot is very soothing and calming. I like the way it applies, the balm is very easy to use and you never seem to grab too much out of the pot.
I've been rubbing my temples and also on my shoulders as I sleep with my head tucked up by my shoulder. I sometimes apply to the back of my neck and my throat if I'm feeling particularly wound up.
It doesn't make me fall asleep immediately but I'm very happy as I'm going to sleep way faster than what I used to. I like that it's good value for money and also that it's organic. Thumbs up from me!
This is one of those products that I bought because of the packaging. The tin is just too cute for words!
I bought this on a Badger hoard, and it is probably the balm I thought I would use the least, but thought it would be handy to have, just in case.
It's not too lavendery (I'm not a huge lavender fan and I find strong smells do not help me relax).
The balm is a perfect consistancy - it's not runny nor clumpy and it applies really well - it rubs in to the skin and is absorbed well - you're not left with oily residue.
Does it help you sleep? I'm not sure about that - but massaging it in to your neck and shoulders does feel wonderfully relaxing and the smell is calming.
I think part of it's charm is that by using it you're actively focusing on relaxing - you're not checking your phone or tablet in bed!
Tips: Put a teeny dab under your nose or on your pulse points for a relaxing scent.
I received my Badger Sleep Balm in a GoodieBox, and have reached for it over times of stress, where I struggle to get to sleep, or have a good nights sleep. Even simply reading the words 'Sleep Balm' begins the relaxation process. The tin is compact and discreet, but contains a decent amount of product. The product itself is dense and solid, but is easy to spread onto the skin. I apply it to my temples alongside a little sniff of the tin itself. I have also applied this on my wrists as I sleep with my hands by my face. The scent is pleasant and relaxing without being overpowering. Unlike many other sleep aid products, there is more than just lavender involved. My nose can be a little sensitive at time and it doesn't make me sneeze.
I'm sure there is an element of mind over matter, but this product does work. Compared to my prior state, the Badger Sleep Balm helps me to relax and calm my mind and body. It is a lovely step to add in before bed, to remind myself to switch off from the day and not worry about tomorrow. A little goes a long way and the price is very affordable. At times of heightened stress I did need to combine this with the Rescue Remedy drops and I would recommend an natural supplement over this for anyone with extreme stress, although the two products are the ultimate combination. I will continue to use the Badger Sleep Balm at times of stress. This product would also be a lovely, thoughtful gift for somebody going through a stressful time.
Tips: A small dab under the nose would have even better results.
While it didn't exactly work for me it is a lovely smelling aromatherapy option for children. Seems to work better for them. A warm shower , then applying is my best advice.
As someone what struggles to sleep. Someone that has tried almost everything and is on sleeping pills every night, I needed to try this as well.
The wee tin pot is super cute! Once it's finished I'll wanna use it for another purpose. It's easier to twist the lid off than just pulling it off.
The product inside is very firm! It's cold here in the Deep South so that might change in summer. I have to dig my finger nail along the top to get the product out.
The routine of rubbing it onto temples, onto your chest and under your nose must help to the soothing before sleep. Husband quite enjoyed me slapping it on him before he went to snooze land.
I do enjoy the sleep balm. It's not the knock out I need, a hammer would be good I'm guessing :( yes I will use again, so will the farmer hubby (even if he says no!) Lavender is calming to me so I try and do deep breaths with it.
I have skin that reacts to perfumes, but it's totally fine with this
Tips: Put on a tissue inside your pillow case if you have sensitive skin. You can still smell it
I have a love hate relationship with this product. The fragrance is amazing and smells of lavender. It has not improved my sleep in anyway but the scent sticks around and calms me. Perfect to put on before bed.
Tips: I put this product on my temples before i go to bed.
I have a lot of lavender scented balms and sprays to help us relax and sleep better. I’ve picked this due to the bergamot in it as I like mixing lavender with other scents sometimes, so we wouldn’t get to used to it or bored of it. I can barely smell the bergamot in this, but even the lavender scent is very faint too. The balm is too hard on room temperature, I prefer creamier balms, but this is just my personal preference. However due to it being on the harder side, it lasts ages, barely made a dent in it yet, however sides started rusting as it’s a metal container. I really won’t repurchase this, there are better ones out there.
I will admit I purchased the Badger Sleep Balm just because the packaging was cute and it was on special, but I really love this product!
I have now used every night for the last week and I'm not sure if it has improved my sleep but it certainly relaxes me before sleepy time. Even my other half likes to use it now!
I really love the fragrance as it isn't to over powering and I have always loved the smell over lavender, it reminds me of my Nana.
Tips: Gently rub into your temples, your wrists and a little over your sinuses.
