I love lavender products and I love Badger products so was eager to try this when I saw it on iherb. The product comes if a handy tin but the lid is a bit stiff so can be hard to open at times. I like the texture, it’s quite firm but melts into the skin nicely and doesn’t leave it greasy. The scent is subtle but does last a long time. It’s definitely relaxing but not as good as some other balms I e tried. I found it was more helpful for anxiety than sleep.

I have used this regularly for the past little while but don't find it helps me get to sleep at all. I usually just use pure lavender oil drops on my pillow and find this relaxes much more and aids sleep. I don't find the scent of this is strong enough and have trouble smelling it when it is on. Maybe I'm to used to the strong lavender smell.
I probably wouldn't repurchase or recommend as just plain old lavender oil works a treat for me!
Tips: I use on temples and neck.
I got this product from Mighty Ape as a swap for something else that was out of stock. It was $9.95.
I had tried another brand of balm and was keen to see how this compared.
When it arrived I was surprised the tin was very small (12ml).
The small tin it comes in is burgundy and quite cute, with the Badger logo on it. It is easy to open and access the product.
The product is waxy in appearance and consistency, and melts into your skin on application. It absorbs quickly leaving a gentle lavender fragrance on the skin. There is no spillage or waste.
As I have been doing with the similar product, I have been applying it to my temples when getting into bed and find it quite soothing and relaxing, but I can’t hand-on-heart say it helps me sleep, in fact the first night I tried it, I didn’t sleep all night.
I also put some on my wrists when I’m home during the day and inhale it every now and again because I like the smell and am finding it quite calming. I have to be honest, aside from the size of the tin, there is absolutely nothing to distinguish it from the comparable product, except the comparable product comes in a larger pot, so is better value. I guess I could argue that this smaller sized tin is more portable and easy to carry in a bag or even a pocket!
I wouldn’t buy it again knowing there is a more economical product that is almost identical on the market. If I were to recommend it I would also have to point out the comparable brand.
I have been testing this on my temples (I didn't want to apply this all over the recommended areas straight away) and I'm so glad I didn't. Every time I use this sleep balm on my temples, the next day I wake up with little pimple like spots on both sides. I don't know what they are but for my skin to react like that each time I use the sleep balm, it's telling me it's not good for my skin. And that's actually a shame because I found the subtle scent to be rather calming but it just doesn't agree with my skin for some reason. I do still enjoy sniffing it before bed though lol. It really is a soothing scent.
