I was so lucky I received two deluxe samples of this product. Honestly, it was because of these samples that I even heard of this eyeshadow primer and I am so grateful.
This primer comes in small, slightly frosted tube and it has a twist wand with a doe foot applicator. The design is perfect in my opinion because it lets you to apply the primer with precision directly to your eyelids.
The formula is gorgeous and it looks like a normal bb cream, but it has a slightly moussey (is that even a word, sorry if it's not) consistency to it. The colour is beige/brown so once applied, it is easily blended out to look like skin which is exactly what you want with an eye shadow primer.
I use this over my eyes before applying my eyeshadow and I think it works so well. It applies a slight amount of coverage (which hids all those gross eye veins) and it provides the perfect base for eyeshadows. When using this product, I find my eyeshadow wears really well (like amazingly well) all day long.
This primer is amazing. I honestly think it might be the best eyeshadow primer that I have ever used. I am still going through my samples because you only need a tiny bit and I will be buying a full size product once I finish them off.
Originally I got a deluxe sample of this primer a few months back and after using it solid for 4-5 weeks I was in love and purchased the full sized version just a couple of weeks ago.
Design: this primer comes in a concealer format, in a cylindrical tube with a doe footed wand inside that pulls the formula out to apply quickly and effortlessly. The glass tube has a matte finish for ease of gripe and the silver lid completes the look of a quality product.
Formula: Thick, beige coloured cream that goes on quite thick (so be light handed with it) but blends with the warmth of your skin to an invisible veil, perfect base for your eyeshadow.
I was unsure when I got this and read all the information, what was I needing BB for on my eyelids, but the mixture of ingredients used leaves my lids in such a beautiful state to make the creations easier to apply and control. It also adds a longer wear time to the makeup. The cream is thick enough to smooth out the fine lines and even out the texture on the lid, giving it a neutral base that looks transparent as if it is your own skin.
At this point in time this is my eye primer of choice as it does a wonderful job and makes my eyeshadow pop for at least 12-14 hours without quitting once!
