Lush Rock Star Soap Review

I’m still sad that Lush discontinued this soap. It was a favourite as it smelt so good! I would also buy it for my mum on her birthday so it was a sad day when I realised this would no longer be a tradition. If I knew they were going to discontinue it I definitely would have stoked up.

I still hold hope that they will bring this scent back!

This soap is so moisturising and smells yum and lathers up so nice. I had used almost all of it and we moved house, but I was so disappointed that I couldn't find my soap. Months later it was like the soap was haunting me, reminding me that I needed to buy a new one. I went on a long, long hunt and FOUND the soap!! That's how strong the smell is and it is a very very sweet and yummy smell. This soap is a must have.

This was one of the first lush soaps I tried as I'm quite hesitant with skin products because of how sensitive it is.

This soap is a dark baby pink and smells deeeeelicious. I find it hard to describe the smell but i think it's pretty similar to snow fairy shower gel, but a bit musky and grown up.

It lathers up really nicely and is easy to use just as is. However I would say if it's just left in the shower it becomes pretty mushy/weak pretty fast so I would take it out of the shower each time.

I find my skin can handle it about twice a week. I have eczema so this is good for me....I can usually only use unscented unfun products on the regular.

Overall I really do like it, just needs to be kept in the dry when it's not actually being used.

I've also been keeping my back up one in a draw and it makes me clothes smell so good!

Like anything in Lush, the Rock Star soap smells amazing and it’s cruelty free! The pink colour is beautiful along with the sweet, candy scent. I just couldn't get enough of it that I’ve bought it many times over the years.

The Rock Star soap lathers up nicely and moisturises my skin in the shower. I love using it during my night showers so I could smell nice in bed to have sweet dreams. Though it's a wonderful product, the soap is very delicate and it melts fast once it's wet. I had to move it to a dry place after I've used it. If it’s kept with care, it will be long lasting. Definitely a Lush soap to try if you love sweet scents.

This is the product that got me hooked on Lush. The smell is devine like their creamy candy bubble bar, it really does smell like candy. It also makes the bathroom smell amazing makes washing heaven

The soap is a pretty shade of medium pink a nice feminine touch to the bathroom.

However this soap does not last long it literally disappears before your eyes when water is added. But I keep repurchasing as the smell has me.

I do wish Lush would reformulate the recipe to make it longer lasting.

This is an awesome soap which makes a good lather with a heavenly scent! If there was a soap to describe candy heaven, this would be it. It leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized and leaves you smelling good enough to eat! I've found this soap a really good one to give as a gift also because it is so yummy.

Love the lush range of soaps, I received this one as a gift, I think its such a amazing product, I suffer from dry skin so am not a fan of soaps, this one hydrates my skin and keeps it from drying out,

The soap is a pastel baby pink star. It's very soft to touch and smells beautiful and sweet.

This soap I had in the shower and noticed when under the water and lathered up the soaps scent intensifies. It's also very creamy, soft and silky on the skin when washing yourself with it. What's amazing about it is that unlike regular soap it doesn't dry the skin out or leave it with that tightened feeling. What you feel with this soap as you wash yourself with it, is what your skin continues to feel like after use. Soft and silky.

A fantastic addition to the shower :) I love it so much it's one soap I don't let my children use haha. Once my star runs out I'll be sure to buy more!

Earlier this year I purchased this soap in a facebook group. After seeing lots of reviews surrounding this soap I definately had to give this one a try. I wasn't sure what to expect with this soap . So far I've tried a few Lush soaps and they are becoming a family favourite in my household. My sons already asked me to repurchase.

My soap I have is shaped like a cute star. Its a very pale shade of baby pink. The texture of this soap is solid but smooth. Seems softer when its wet compared to other lush soaps. This scent is sweet like pink marshmallows.

When I wash my body with it I find it difficult to lather up. Instead it seems to have a milky water effect with minimal foam. This scent is so fragrant that you can smell it even when its sitting in my shower. Thats the reason I enjoy Lush soaps.

After using this my body feels clean and fresh like sweet candy. It doesn't stay on long for me but for my children it lasts them all night long. This soap is a favourite amongst my children. They normally go for shower gel and now their converted back to using soap. It is priced fairly high for a soap but the quality of it is worth it. I'll definitely pick another one up for them.

Oh my goodness this creamy bar of soap is 12 levels of delight at shower or bath time, or just simply to wash your hands. I must admit I do have at least 4 backup bars which won't last long in this household.

Uniquely Lush this bar of creamy pink brightness is a solid mass with it's lure of heavenly scent of vanilla and marshmallows. Running it over your body is a breeze as it glides, creating a mass of foaming suds under hot water but keeping it's shape throughout there is no softening this bar instead it just melts, releasing a creamy foam that not only cleans you but leaves you and the room heavenly scent for ages afterwards. Not a bar to share with the males of the household unless of course they are into the pinky sweetness but for me this screams of girly delight.

Rockstar is perfectly names and is a rockstar in my bathroom, it's hard to pick out a different soap to use when I have this in the house as it always trumps the others, my no 1 Lush soap of all time.
