I have become more conscious about not washing my hair every day, or even every other day, and so this dry shampoo (the original pink one) is a life saver as it really does make my hair look less oily and also gives it an amazing volume, and saves me from washing my oily mess of a hair! Its really reasonably priced too and lasts quite a while, it does have a slight white residue but can be hidden if you know how

Tips: The trick to not showing the white residue is to put the dry shampoo on sections of your hair that are not as seen (So basically not the top of your hair) and use the least amount on top of the hair, so least amount of white residue is shown.
I also like to let it sit for a minute or two, to suck up the oil then i rub it in
Great choice of fragrances, so you can find one that doesn't clash. I've used this a few times now. Instructions nice and clear on the back, Shake, spray, massage in and brush away. The bottle is a good size, not too big, not too small. You can get small handbag size ones as well.
Tips: The key to application is noting that it says to do it in sections, focusing on the roots, as this helps avoid the 'white' look if you have darker hair.
Good product, and also useful for adding volume. Just don’t overuse it as it can build up in your hair- once or twice a week is probably the most I’d use it.
Dry shampoo in my opinion is one of those things you don’t think you need until you use it. One of the greatest beauty products out there. Best product for mopping up greasy roots, adding volume and leaving your hair with a fresh clean smell. I personally like to use it in the evening before going to bed, rather than the next morning. Wake up in the morning, brush it out and your hair is left with volume, no “white” residue and no greasy roots. I have dark brown hair and I don’t have any issue with the white residue as I said I use it the night before and by the morning it’s all gone along with the grease.
Tips: Try it - it honestly does work.
I use this product regularly as I only wash my hair 2 times a week. In between days where I am not washing it or need some extra dryness so my head doesn't look oily, I use this dry shampoo, it smells yummy, and soaks up the hair greasy. It also doesn't leave white patches which some products do. It can be a little expensive but it is totally worth the money.
I found Batiste Dry Shampoo a great easy to use product with a great range with a scent for everyone in our house. My daughter is never without this product. Great for those days where you are in a rush
Tips: Don't over spray!
This is one of my go-to dry shampoos. I use the one for dark hair and it actually absorbs oil without leaving any white powdery residue. Not only that, it comes at a great price and is easily accessible at supermarkets. There's a great variety of scents and is suitable for people young to mature.
Tips: Spray this at least 20-30cm away from your head, and use sparingly. I have found for best results, part your hair into layers and spray sparingly into the roots. Leave it there for 30min if possible before styling so it can do its magic and absorb all the oil. This is also great to use for post gym sweaty hair.
I have tried several dry shampoos, but none compare to Batiste. Some dry shampoos sit on your hair and can’t be massaged in, but I have never had this problem with batiste. A range of scents is an added bonus.
Tips: I have fair hair. Unsure if it works as well on darker hair, it may just require more massaging into the scalp to hide the white tinge.
I have tried soooo many dry shampoos and I always come back to Batiste! I try to wash my hair only once or twice a week, but on around day 3 or 4 it gets a bit greasy so I always have dry shampoo on hand and it gives me that extra day of life. Sooo easy to use, doesn't leave too much white in your hair and smells pretty good too!
Tips: Apply just after washed and dried hair to work as a barrier !
Great product, does what it says and value for money. One thing I would say (and I have this problem with all dry shampoo) is that i have quite oily, very long and thick hair so have to use quite a bit. This means I can get a bit of a white powder build up. If a brunette like me strongly recommend getting their brunette specific product - even though it doesn't smell as good.
