This stuff is amazing for cleaning beauty blenders which is something I hate doing because with normal soap it takes forever and they never look clean. The solid cleanser just seems to give the blenders a deep clean and is so much faster. I have used it to clean my brushes as well which had the same result so I was mighty impressed unfortunately it ran out too quickly and I resorted back to using baby shampoo for a more budget friendly alternative in the meantime. When I purchase again I think I'll save it just for my beauty blenders so it lasts longer.

Beautyblender Solid Review
Beautyblender Solid is a travel-friendly alternative to the original blendercleanser®, roviding the same cleansing results and the soothing lavender fragrance for your original beautyblender®applicators and make up brushes and comes with a custom grid to dry beautyblender® and deep clean brushes.
This cleanser removes excess residue and germs for clean makeup application. It supports the integrity of the blender as it provides the same cleansing results and soothing lavender fragrance as the liquid blendercleanser.
How to use
-Wet beautyblender® or makeup brushes.
-Rub beautyblender or makeup brushes over the soap, creating a lather and repeat if necessary.
-Gently squeeze beautyblender or brushes and rinse again to remove any excess cleanser and water.
-Set beautyblender to dry on the custom grid.
-Deep clean brushes by placing the custom grid over the soap, wetting the brush and swishing it back and forth across grid to create a scrubbing lather. (Do not use the scrubbing process with beautyblender, as it can damage the material.)
-Rinse.

I got a few minis of this in the Christmas Beauty Blender sets I bought last year. This is some concentrated stuff. Now if you think you just roll your wet BB in it and with a little lathering in your hands all the staining comes out that's not how it goes especially if you wear a long wearing foundation or you're a deeper skintone so your foundation is darker. I'm a Mac NC25 my foundation doesn't immediately come out.
I do have to really lather it up and rub it a few times to get the foundation out, but I have found this solid gets out the stains much easier than regular brush cleaner and even a bit easier than the liquid Beauty Blender Cleanser. If I have washed my BB and I have some staining left on the sponge and it's dried on and I use it again and use the BB solid and lots of effort it can get out the old stains leftover from the previous wash. I can't comment on how this works for brushes because this is pricey I save this for my BB, but based on how my BB liquid cleanser cleaned my brushes in the past this would easily remove any makeup out of my brushes. I would recommend this for anyone who wears long wearing foundation or really doesn't like stains on their BB.
Tips: This stuff is really concentrated so you really need to rinse it out well. I don't have the full size so I store mine in soap dish so it can dry in between uses. Now this stuff is spensy so don't run it under water instead wet your BB and rub the wet BB over the soap where you have stains and foundation. Your BB will not be as bright hot pink after a few times of using this to clean it because it gets out the dye out of it as well, but personally I don't mind.
I bought this on a whim once, just to try it, and now I'm addicted. Its super easy to use, and did a REALLY good job at cleaning my brushes without making them feel dry and straw-like. It's cheaper than the cleanser I was using for them as well, also more travel friendly. I do think it ran out fairly quickly, for what I was expecting, but that's not really a deal breaker, that's just how it is. The only reason it lost 2 marks from me, is because Sephora brand has one the same that is slightly cheaper with slightly more product, and does the same job! So I just get whichever is on special/in stock.
I really like this product. The only reason I gave it 4/5 was because you never really seem to know how much product you're using. A couple of times, I feel like I've overused it and so it doesn't really last long. I prefer the liquid cleanser instead but the pricing for both are pretty affordable. I'd say give both a try as you may prefer this over the liquid. Overall, it cleans well, does exactly what it is supposed to and you can even buy them in differing colours and scents.
I love this bar soap for a good, effortless clean of my brushes and Beauty Blender. The scent is a light, lavender-y fragrance, which makes my sponge smell lovely at the same time as getting all the foundation stains out.
I was initially alarmed to see the amount of pink dye that rinsed out from my beauty blender at the time of washing, but it really didn't affect the overall colour of the sponge. I favour this soap over the original liquid Blender Cleanser.
The price is a little steep for a brush cleaner, but I have found that my bar has lasted almost a year already (although I probably don't wash my brushes as often as I should!)
Tips: Let the soap dry again after using and before putting it away in its case to prevent it from getting stuck in there!
I got my Beauty Blender Solid in a pack with my BB sponge as a gift, and I'm so glad I did! It has a really lovely soft lavender scent and it really cleans both my BB and brushes well. I've only used it a couple of times so I can't speak to it's longevity however as it's a little on the small side I'm not too sure how long it will last? I've definitely made a dent in it after washing all my brushes only once (around 30 of them), though to be fair they were very dirty which could have something to do with it.
I brought this in combination with the beauty blender. It was a bit of an impulse buy as I really knew nothing about the brand other than reading a few online reviews.
The cleaner is contained within a cute white jar. It does looks small but the formula is a solid, kind of like a a circular bar of soap. Once you have applied water to the cleanser it lathers up well. I usually do this a few times to remove any stubborn stains. I find this very easy to do. I am really glad I purchased this because it cleans my beauty blender and my make-up brushes really well and they seem to be lasting better than previous brushes.
It is on the pricey side but so far seems to be lasting well. I typically use this 1-2 times a week depending on how much make-up I wear that week.
Tips: Make sure you allow the solid to try out before closing the lid.
I got this as a set with the blender. I have used this one & the charcoal cleanser. It was nothing impressive by appearance but once using it that all went away. It suds up alot with only swiping a few times & it melts away makeup from brushes and blenders alike. I like how it leaves my brushes conditioned post use & the suds (because for me suds means clean but this may not be true) overall I didn't think a soap would be so good & had thought shamoos were better however my theory has changed & I will continue to use this cleansing bar.
I got a sample of this cleanser in a set with some other beauty blender products, and this really amazed me. I used it on my beauty blender first and it took away all of the foundation stains! I was pretty shocker at how well it worked, it made my sponge feel brand new again.
I also used it on my brushes and it got rid of stains I thought were permanent! It didn't do anything weird to the bristles like dry them out, I was really impressed.
The only downside to this product is the price, but if I can get it in a set again I definitely will. I would say that this is worth the money though, because my sponges and brushes have never been cleaner!
It does what it sets out to do, cleanse your beauty blender and brushes. However, as a fan of deeply cleaning using liquids I just can not get on board with this solid version. It comes in a tin that keeps it in a nice state but when using you swirl the product into the balmy cleanser and end up with it all becoming a bit messy with it being used up in only a dozen washes as the water erodes at the cleansing bar.
It is effective and gets everything clean, and if you have a BB or 2, and maybe half a dozen brushes then this could be a good method for you as it is fast and you will probably get a few washes out of it, but as someone with a lot of BB and brushes it just isn't economical or effective enough and that is the reason I stick with the liquid versions. A little gimmicky for my liking.
