Bio Oil

I have used bio-oil on a scar i have from an operation, as well as on some stretchmarks on my skin. I have found very little if any difference after using it which really disappointed me as it claims so much in advertising and labeling. The fact that you have to use it at least once if not twice daily for over a month to see results (that's what the pamphlet says inside the box), was a little offputting. That's a big commitment for no results at the end! Also I know it's an oil, but I don't like the greasy feeling left on my skin for the rest of the day. It didn't really seem to soak in at all which was not what I expected. I don't recommend this product based on my own results, don't waste your time.

I personally have not had excellent results from bio oil, I noticed no actual change in my streak marks, this being said I have a close friend who is 7months pregnant, has used bio oil since she found out and has NO stretch marks to date.

Good however must apply regularly and not expect any immediate results. Slow and steady is the way healing works.

I am a trilogy rosehip oil fan and use it day and night. I decided to buy this as it is a cheaper product. It just doesn't feel the same. I felt like the oil just sits on top of the skin and doesn't absorb in. It also feels quite thick compared to Trilogy Rosehip oil.

Used this for months and just didnt see any results so gave up. Wouldn't bother trying it again unless a friend had seen serious results.

I used this every day for 7 months when I was pregnant. It was a must for my daily routine. I found the smell to this product smelt very pleasant and the bottle it came in was very handy to take it anywhere, It was also very easy to get product out. I found that with this a little does go along way because it was a oil I didn't want to feel that oily feeling skin. This did wonders for my skin made it feel smooth and a all over appearance. Lucky for me I did not get 1 stretch mark using this product. Would definitely recommend this product.

I did not really notice a difference. Any difference made could be natural healing or helped by me massaging it in and the resulting blood flow and circulation to that area. It did moisturise a bit but the sticky oily feeling and mess on my clothes is sadly not worth it for me.

I used Bio Oil on my stomach and legs when i was pregnant with both my kids. I made sure i used it twice a day as my tummy grew and started to itch, it relieved the itching and prevented stretch marks. I didn't use it on my scars as I wasn't sure if it would work on scars from when I was 5 years old, (they just faded a bit over time anyway). It wasn't very good in the summer though as it didn't absorb well into my skin and when i got hot it just felt yuck and slimy.

I used this on my stretch marks on my hips and legs. I did not find it very effective as it did not smooth them out nor fade them.
