Awesome, affordable little blush. The colour is a gorgeous peachy colour. Its long wearing too - lasts me all day. This is my go to day colour, it's not to overpowering and gives off just enough colour. I do find that I have to build the colour a bit to get my desired colour. That's another great thing about its blush, it is so easily buildable. So glad I purchased one of these blushes. I am definitely going to purchase some of the other colours, once I've hit pan on a few others. I little dust cloud is created when swirling the brush, but nothing too major. This blush has ticked all the boxes for my. I'm so glad I gave into the hype!

Milani Baked Blush Review
Milani Baked Blush Review
This silky blush with benefits can be used so many ways. It shapes, it contours, it highlights. Sunbaked on Italian terracotta tiles, it’s buildable from sheer to vibrant. Yes, it adds a cheeky pop of colour to your complexion. Radiance and warmth, too.

I purchased this baked blush in luminoso due to hearing amazing things about it over YouTube and is actually the first baked blush I ever purchased..
The packaging from a distance looks expensive and sturdy with its gold edge and almost transparent lid that has 'milani' written on the top but when you look closer at the packaging you notice have cheap and flimsy it is and is prone to stratches.
When I first swatched this product I didn't really get what all the hype was about because of it being a very light apricot coral color and I felt that no way could I pull of this shade of blush. It is highly pigmented so you only need a little bit of product on your blush and build up the desired amount. I absolutely love this shade on my light skin as it gives me a nice glow, natural blush look and isn't to in your face.
I definitely want to collect more shades of this baked blush because for the price they are amazing and they all look beautiful.
I have this blush in luminoso. I bought it because a few makeup gurus were raving about it on YouTube and I tend to get sucked in with hype like That! I bought this off beauty joint quite a while ago now, there are a few nz online stores that now stock it too.
This line of blushes come in a little gold compact. It's shiny gold on top with a see through lid and a more matte gold on the bottom. I'm not the biggest fan of gold packaging as i kind of feel it looks cheapand this ddoesn't really change my mind. Just personal preference though, it isn't too big and does up securely which is the main thing. The palette always comes with a little brush (I never used it) under the blush.
Onto the blush. This color is a beautiful, domed peach beauty. It is enticing with its sparkle and just screams 'use me'. Now there is good and bad baked products. Some can be dry and have no color payoff. Luckily this is good. It's nice and smooth to touch and the color is pigmented and transfers well to your cheeks. Although this does have glitter in it, it's quite finely milled and you are not going to end up as a glitter bomb. This gives you a beautiful peach glow and leaves a gorgeous sheen to your cheeks.
The lasting power is good, I find this lasts pretty much all day on me. This blush will last so long too. I've used this so many times and the top part of the dome is only very slightly flattened.
I don't need anymore blush anytime soon but i would purchase again and to try out the other colors too. I would also recommend this, i think it would suit a variety of skin tones.
I had been wanting these for a while, I hadnt seen people use them but saw them A LOT in flat lays or beautiful photos for display, the gold round casings are so beautiful and when makeup.co.nz announced they were selling them I purchased 2 baked blush which are Dolce pink and Rose D'Oro.
They are smaller than the average sized blushes but they pack a punch! They lids secure strongly so you need a little bit of elbow grease to open these which is a great peace of mind if you pack these in your makeup bag. If you lift the middle piece it comes with a small brush and mirror which I haven't used.
Rose D'Oro is a medium bronzer warm shade, more like a bronzer mixed with a highlighter, I use this shade a lot, it brightens my cheeks and gives this beautiful glowy look and is perfect for my medium skin tone.
Dolce pink is a barbie pink with a touch of fuchsia, a sweep of this gives a flushed look to my cheeks and has been perfect for adding colour to my spring looks.
I have been using these a lot since I purchased these and I'm not sure as to why people don't talk about how great these are because they really are fantastic! Its only been recently I have seen Nikkie tutorials talk about Luminoso, every one needs to try these, especially for girls like me that would like to use blush.
I am not too sure how I feel about this blush.. I haven't used many blushes so it is hard to compare it with others. But this blush for me was VERY shimmery and glittery. I got the shade in luminoso. I didn't find it looks very natural because of the amount of shimmer which I found quite intense for a blush. Aside from the glitter, the colour looks natural and it is easy to wear for a subtle hint of colour. Does not apply too heavily and easily build-able.
After hearing so many people rave about these blushes I decided to try Luminoso and I really loved it! I also tried another pinky shade (I've forgotten the name though) And I love it too! These blushes double as a highlighter because of the sheen and shimmer in them, there isn't any obnoxious glitter in them so it doesn't look patchy or chucky. They're really great for the price, but like most amazing products, you can't buy them in store in nz so I get mine from beautyjoint. They have quite a few colours to match heaps of different skin tones, and they are decently pigmented so you're able to build up the colour if you want more of a flush. The packaging is quite bulky and it comes with a small brush and mirror that I don't use at all. They're a little powdering, which can be expected for a blush so cheap but that isn't really a problem for me.
Tips: I would recommend not using a duo fibre brush because that seems to only pick up the shimmer and not much actual pigment
I was never a blush girl until recently, my god I was missing out!
I love this blush; it gives a subtle tint and also a sheen of highlight which is perfect for when you don't want to use multiple products. Berry Amore is my favourite shade. I apply using the Wet n Wild Contour Brush.
Tips: At $30 odd from Farmers, the price is reasonable, but I always hold out for the multi-buy deals!
So after reading Koni's review of this blush, it sparked my interest in getting this. I didn't know about the famous Luminoso. But after having a look on you tube I got to find out about these blushes. After having a conversation with Koni about this blush, I was really looking forward to trying it. Then she sent me this in a Random Act of Kindness Gift. What a lovely surprise.
The Blush that I got was Rose D'Oro. I didn't get to open it at first because my son beat me to it. The first thing he said was wow mum this is so pretty aye. This blush comes in a gold plastic circle shaped contained. On the front is a window so you can see the blush through it. It has the Milani labelling written across the front. Inside of it is a handy little mirror. Theres also a round brush in there. I thought these two extra touches were excellent. Especially the handy mirror.
Looking at this blush it has Rose Gold terracotta colouring to it. Within it is this marbel gold through it. It looks so pretty to look at. The texture of it is like a powder finish. It has no scent at all. The colour pay off of this is so good.
When I apply it really glides across my cheeks nicely. The colour of it is bright and shows up well on my skin. On my first try, I thought the brush it came with worked well with this blush. I noticed that it lasted me for a couple of hours and did start to fade out. I'm thinking of trying a setting spray as this may help make it last just a bit longer on my skin.
UPDATE: Tried a setting spray still didn't hold it longer, because of this I probably wouldn't get this again.
I thought overall this blush ticked all the boxes for me. The packaging might not be high quality but the product itself is really good. I'm interested in trying the Luminoso as it is one of the popular blushes out.
I first heard about these while watching youtube videos, seeing beauty guru's rave about the Milani baked blushes over and over again made me curious to try them..
First off, the price is incredible. Approx $7USD and around $15NZD makes these super affordable, cheaper than a Maybelline/Revlon etc blush at Farmers.
Packaging is nice for 'drugstore', I quite like the gold/matte gold contrast however it is bulky and the lid/top isn't flat so makes stacking and storing difficult! I also really like how the top is transparent so you can see the colour without having to flip it over or open it.
I first purchased Luminoso to try as this is the most 'hyped' colour in the line. It is an incredible shimmery coral shade that looks super natural on the cheeks. If you're not used to wearing coral blushes or not sure if you'll suit them - start with this one!
The formula is smooth and not super crazy pigmented which I like - its easy to build up a natural looking colour that blends out well rather than end up with a huge patch of colour on your cheeks. It looks almost glittery in the pan but on the cheeks it picks up as a nice healthy shimmery glow.
After success with Luminoso I picked up another shade, Rose D'Oro and loved it just as much. The colour is darker and more pink with no coral tones - but still just as beautiful.
The only reason I didn't give this product a full 5 stars is that personally I think the shade range is average. I would love to see some lighter pinks/peaches and even some matte shades would be nice.
If you're on the fence about purchasing these blushes I would say go for it!! The two I own have quickly jumped into my top 5 blushes (I own way too many!) and I will repurchase in a heartbeat if they ever run out.
Tips: Build up colour slowly to create a far more natural look rather than trying to pack colour on in one go :)
everyone seems to have at least one of these blushes in their collection, and it seems like i am no exception. I brought this blush because i heard milani brushes were pretty much the best drug store blushes available, also it seems like luminoso is a favorite for many blogger, and makeup lovers out there so for around $7 usd, i had to pick this up (from bluescandal).
This baked blush comes in a circular compact with a gold edge, and a mostly transparant lid. The blush has two compartments, one holding the dome shape blush, and the other compartment holding a brush and mirror. The compact clicks into place and closes securley. Actually the packaging does not feel like a cheap brand, it feels quite sturdy. However, the second compartment does make a almost rattly noise when you move the blush around which does make it feel a bit cheap.
Anyway, the blush is a beautiful peachy colour, with a golden shimmery quality. I find it slightly powdery, but very pigmented. Once i apply this and blend it into my cheeks, the colour is lovely. It provides a peachy glow to my cheeks that makes my skin look really healthy and natural. The shimmery glitter adds a luminous glow, that i love since i go for the dewey, glowy look versus a matte look so fits in perfectly with my other makeup. This blush is long lasting, and even looks great layered with other blushes (such as Benefit's majorette) to create more intense looks. Plus the blush is long wearing.
I love this blush, and will be picking up more from the Milani Baked blush range, and reckon you should too
