When I bought a Bobbi Brown foundation I was curious about a Bobbi Brown primer and so the counter assistant told me there isn't really very many primers but more like skincare that doubles as a primer. Since my foundation cost an arm and a leg I thought I might as well ask for a generous amount of samples and that's how a good handful of Bobbi Brown's Hydrating Face Cream ended up in my shopping bag. This face cream has a smooth feel to it thanks to the silicone and just like the product says it sets and absorbs quickly providing a nice smooth base for makeup. When I use this I don't need a primer because my foundation goes on smoothly. It's lightweight and offers some hydration. It does have some good for your skin ingredients like kukui seed oil, algae extract, coriander seed oil, rosemary, rosehip oil, cardamon, lavender, jasmine, vitamin E, trehalose, glycerine, caffeine and sodium hyaluronate or hyaluronic acid. The scent of this moisturizer is interesting maybe it's the coriander, it doesn't smell bad and once it's on my face I don't detect it. As a skin primer this is really good, I get a smooth base for makeup and a bit of hydration. Now for the cons, this cost an arm and a leg, I could buy this or Bobbi Brown's expensive serum foundation. At nighttime I find this doesn't give enough moisture, even though this recommended for both day and night so this is obviously best as a day cream. But the problem with using it just as day cream is it doesn't have spf so you'd need to wear an spf moisturizer over this. So were does a product like this really shine, if I was going to go out for the evening and was doing my face this would fit in perfectly I could use this as a moisturizer and primer under my makeup and cut back on step in my makeup skincare routine. Unfortunately, I just happen to prefer to spend my money on makeup like expensive foundations at Bobbi Brown's makeup counter so I won't be purchasing this. I do love a primer that doubles up as skincare but I do think there are more affordable options and besides I would prefer to splurge on a good foundation at Bobbi Brown's or perhaps a luxury lipstick.

Tips: If you are considering getting this I recommend seeing if you can get ahold of some samples first especially if you already made a purchase at Bobbi Brown's since it's not a cheap brand. This moisturizer works best as a primer.
For such a super expensive product I was really let down. It’s not that it didn’t do what it said - it was a hydrating face cream...but that’s all it was to me. Not a miracle worker. And not even the best one I’ve used! I finished my jar because I had paid so much for it expecting miracles but I should’ve just drunk more water! It did nothing else for me but felt pleasant and didn’t dry out my face. Pleasant scent and wasn’t greasy.
Tips: Try to ignore the hype and get a trial before you buy
Its wonderful, I usually use this in Winter as its more creamier and helps my skin combat the dry skin only Heating can give me. Its so creamy, smells amazing and instantly sinks into the skin
