BON Certified Organic Tampons Review

I had the opportunity to review this product, overall it's good, it does its job. However as with any product it had pros and cons. The pros for this product are of course the fact that they are organic and if you are the person the wants to live organic then this product will be great :) also, I think the box is really nice and they are comfortable and easy to use. Some cons I found are that I personally didn't find them as absorbent as other brands I have tried and needed to change them more regularly which can be time consuming if you have a busy schedule. Overall, I think these products are a good option, and I would use them again if necessary.

These tampons were really nicely presented. The packaging was very sleek and was very efficient fitting a lot of tampons into a small tube.

The tampons I tried were regular and so on the first few days of my period which was quite heavy - they needed to be changed around every 2 hours so I would have preferred a bit more absorbency although when my period was a bit lighter on the last few days they were a perfect level of absorbency.

The tampons were very soft and held their shape well.

I would repurchase these tampons, I like how they are natural and good for the environment. I would be interested to try a higher absorbency though.

As far as tampons go these were pretty standard, I love that they are completely natural product which makes me wonder what actually gets put on and in other brands, the packaging was nice and simple and even suitable for display or carrying round if you have a large handbag, each tampon comes induvidually wrapped also so good for taking singles out of you don't want to carry around the whole pack. I had no issues at all with use and absorbency was good. Nice standard and used like all the others but without chemicals and better for your body and the environment. A wee bit on the pricey side at 8 dollars for 16 regular tampons if it's a broke week but would definitely recommend if you are sensitive to chemicals or worry about what you are putting in your body. It's also nice to support nz owned company however it's not nz made.

Organic tampons not something I would usually go for as I don't buy organic or know very much about it,The packaging was different looked a lot like a toilet roll slid open in the middle easy to open and inside was 16 individually wrapped tampons. I didn't have a heavy period like I usually do this time so I cant comment too much on how well they absorbed but for what I had they did the trick. They weren't fluffy and fall apart like some tampons. I prefer to use tampons with applicators but I like these they were comfortable and easy to unwrap. All in all just another tampon really I wouldn't buy them for myself as I don't follow a organic life style and don't have the money to spend $8-$9 on tampons. But if you are into organic and chemical free living these would be for you.

I've never really thought about using an organic option for tampons until I attended the Women's Wellness Expo recently and spoke to a women at another brand's organic feminine hygiene stand. I makes sense that for a product you use so much that you will be using for decades.

I receive a pack of BON Certified Organic Tampons in last month's Delight Box. I love the packaging, my favourite of any tampon packaging so far because the container is sturdy, secure and still pretty discrete. I like to use it in my handbag so I always have something on me just incase!

As for the product itself I haven't noticed any difference from similar products, however I love the ethical responsibility the company demonstrates so I would buy these again.

Out of the many brands of tampons I've tried, this is definitely the most Eco-friendly and cute. First of all, the packaging resembles a toilet roll and is super duper adorable! I absolutely love that this product is organic and not harmful to the environment or my body. It is fairly absorbent and suits a regular flow. Would definitely repurchase. Thanks BR! <3

I'm not a major greenie, but I do like to care where I can & this is a product where you get your monies worth. Insertion was easy, absorption was good, removal was easy (but not too easy). for the first time in years I also read the instructions, which were simple and straight forward - good for beginners and refreshing old hats like me. Packaging is nice too.

I was very excited to receive my first product to review, I absolutely love the packaging!! It is so cute, it somewhat resembles a roll for your toilet paper (inside) Its very cleaver and easy to take with you and not a lot of people will know what is inside. I was really happy to try an eco friendly product because I love looking after the environment. The product its self is pretty good for a regular flow I didn't have any trouble with leakage. I would by these again.

I enjoyed using this product. It was such relief and reassurance that what I was putting into my body was not harmful and didn't contain any chemicals. God knows how tampons are created you would hope in the best hygienic circumstances with good products. This product has cute packaging and I enjoyed using them with that reassurance that they are organic. I would definitely use them again.

I dunno about you; but before I heard of BON 100% Certified Organic Tampon I had no clue about all the potential nasty’s that could hiding in my seemly innocent monthly feminine product! Just heads up; bleach, fragrance chemicals and pesticides are just a few!

Mother Nature (and now you!) will be over the moon that BON 100% Certified Organic tampons are produced without the use of chemical fertilizers, herbicides or the other nasti’cides (fungi & pest) instead BON 100% Certified Organic tampons are made from 100% organic cotton. Furthermore the BON organic growing methods prevents topsoil erosion, improve soil fertility, protects groundwater, conserves energy and deforestation. Wow! Who knew a tampon had the potential to improve the health of wildlife and ecosystems??

But how did BON 100% Certified Organic tampons perform when Aunt Flo came to visit? Pre-warning of the T.M.I nature of this review. Firstly insertion was a breeze; no discomfort at all and the removal was just as easy. The tampon kept its shape unlike other tampons that seem to swell and become unrecognizable and never felt too heavy or like it had moved/dislodged itself. I was impressed with the level of absorption that I got from this product – I’m usually a light-regular flow so will be looking forward to hearing how a heavy flow coped.

The materials used in BON’s packaging are biodegradable and dissolve naturally in landfills – Another win for the environment! The simple brown cardboard cylinder design is quirky and not like the typical taboo’d “tampon box” that get’s hidden in the bathroom draw – mine BON box is happily on display!

Overall I am glad I had the opportunity to trial BON 100% Certified Organic tampons; not only did I get to use a great product I got to learn about what goes into a product that let’s face it; us girls don’t usually think twice about. I love that I can make a healthier choice for both our environment and myself.
