Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer Review

No shimmer, no sparkle! Just beautiful chocolatey colour without a hint of orange! I love that I can use this bronzer year round, depths of winter when I’m a fair few shades lighter (no pun intended) or height of summer when I turn, well, chocolate. Builds up really well, and a little goes a long long way. Brilliant for contouring as it’s a matte.

Actually does smell like chocolate too!

This is the best bronzer with out a doubt I have ever owned or used! Any by the looks of the love this product is getting on Beauty review I'm sure most would agree. I purchased mine overseas and LOVE it. I had been on the hunt for a matte, non-orange bronzer and this baby is perfect! Plus it smells like chocolate - who wouldn't want that?! Too Faced overall is one of my top picks as they are Cruelty Free. This bronzer has a deep cacao colour and blends flawlessly.

Finally a bronzer that is free of shimmer and sparkle that works on my pale complexion!

I was a bit worried that this would look too dark on my skin but when applied with a light hand, it really gives my face a beautiful sunkissed glow. No horrid orange tint, 100% chocolate, 0% jaffa! It blends like a dream and smells absolutely amazing, its only fault is that I end up craving chocolate

I have a small collection of bronzers - Benefit's Hoola, Elf's blush and bronzer duo in St Lucia and Sleek's contouring kit. Although I had heard nothing but amazing things about this bronzer - it isn't something I would have purchased myself (despite loving every other Too Faced product I own) - just because I have a lot of bronzer already.

So when this came as in Too Faced's Everything Nice palette that Chikoboo (on here), very generously gifted me - I was very excited to give this a try and to see what the fuss was about.

As with Too Faced's Chocolate Bar Palette - this bronzer has actual cocoa in the product, which means that the bronzer smells like chocolate!

The formula is soft but not powdery and is extremely pigmented so you only need the slightest touch with your brush. This is something I like because it means that your product is going to last you a long time, but it is something to be weary of if you aren't accustomed to using bronzer.

I can't talk about the packaging as I got this in part of a palette, but the shade is a light/medium neutral toned bronzer that I think would work with both warm and cool skin tones. Once blended out, it doesn't pull orange at all (phew), and blending is really easy as the formula is really well made.

Since receiving this, it has been my go-to bronzer and more than once I have had people ask me if I have lost weight (I haven't sadly - I have been practicing my contouring). When I told them that no, it was makeup, they refused to believe it - that is how natural this looks when blended out.

If you are looking for a bronzer that is going to last you a long time, look natural and is easy to use - I very highly recommend this.

I can not believe i haven't reviewed this yet , this is my go to holy grail bronzer! First of this bronzer smells so delicous like chocolate , and the pigmentation of this bronzer is amazing. I use mine to contour my cheek bones and nose and also sometimes in the crease of my eyes when i am doing a bronze eye shadow look , the color lasts all day and doesn't budge, it also blends really nicely and i have never had trouble with it going muddy. I have recently just repurchased this bronzer again in the too faced 5 piece bronzer wardrobe , but will be buying another full sized compact again soon , i just can't get enough of this bronzer never want to run out haha.

I purchased this bronzer in the bronzed and beautiful kit. It came with sun bunny,snow bunny and a highlighter.

This is a beautiful bronzer and gives such a natural look and finish. Its matte which i love because it looks so much more real/natural. Its a rather cool tone so it wont give you the dreaded orangey look. Which is great especially if you are on the paler side.

It has an amazing texure! its so smooth and creamy. Not powdery at all! This makes it very easy to blend and perfect. Its very pigmented so you dont need much. Which is so great because its not exactly cheap it will last you a long time.

Now for my favourite part of all the smell! It smells absolutely delicious just like my chocolate bar pallete. It reminds me of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes all swirled into one beautiful bronzer. Ahhhhh its bliss! I especially love when my bf comes in for a kiss on the cheek and says "hun youre cheeks smell like chocolate!" its the best!

I am so so in love with this product and yes it is worth the price. I went for so long using a bronzer i was not completely satisfied with now im glad ive settled on this gem.

Being Indian my skin is on the darker side so it is so hard to find the right bronzer that shows on my skin! (I am NW30 for reference) BUT this bronzer is absolutely perfect!

I use the product as a contour with the real techniques contour brush from the core collection, and contour my face as I would normally. I have the regular chocolate soleil (not the milk chocolate) and build up the colour onto my face until it is right. As the bronzer is pigmented, this does not take long at all. I love that it is matte, so you can wear it during the day as well without looking too 'done up'.

The gold packaging and the divine chocolate smell are just bonuses to an amazing product. I will definitely repurchase once I run out!

I was so drawn to this product after seeing a few youtubers raving about it and how good it smelt ! I bi the bullet and bought myself one and I haven't looked back, the packaging is so beautiful and classy. I love using this as a contour being very light handed and also as a general bronzer to give me that warm sun kissed glow I wish I was born with. One of my fave products from toofaced so far! Ones it hits pan I'll have to replace it !!

I usually use this bronzer on days I am wanting a more full coverage look. This was a recommendation from a MUA in Sephora Las Vegas. When he applied it I fell in love immediately.The packaging is beautiful and it really does smell like chocolate. He applied only a minimal amount and the colour transferred so well. My only issue is that is quite hard to blend so only very minimal application is required but with the right brush it's easy to buff the product out. Because of the pigmentation it is great for contouring and has a matte finish. Bought in September last year and have just recently hit the pan and will be replacing once it has run out.

i love this matte bronzer! it smells so so good so i use it religously! this bronzer is so easy to blend so its perfect for beginners if you have the money to spend. perfect to mimic shadows on your cheeks for a slimming affect as it isn't to warm toned nor to cool toned. i have the lighter one and its perfect for me, i have pale skin, so bare in mind to get the darker one if you are medium skintoned.
