I bought this bronzer thanks to the great reviews of fellow fair skinned beauties Elena and Chikoboo. Its hard to find the right kind of bronzer for my super fair skin. I dont tan up over summer without some serious concentrated efforts which I dont do (i've grown to love my fair skin).
Packaging wise I absolutely love this. This comes in a gold compact with embossing on the top and a mirror on the inside of the compact.
This has four different strips of colour a white colour that swatches to a cool silvery/white luminescent shade , quite a soft fresh glow. A darker bronze colour that swatches to a warm goldy bronze shade again a very luminous shade. A pink shade which swatches to a warm goldy pink colour and a honey champagne colour which swatches to a more goldy colour with a bit more of an obvious glittery look to it.
I decided to use this primarily on my cheek bones a little on my nose, chin , forehead places the sun would possibly hit. I applied this using my real techniques buffing brush as it disperses a bit more rather than as concentrated as my contour brush. I swirled over all four colours and applied gently in circular motions. Product was easily picked up on the brush and didnt make a mess. It was soft, velvety and applied to the skin really nicely. The combination of the four gave my skin a nice healthy shimmery glow. This has great pigment but has very soft colours so its perfect for the fair complexion like myself when normal bronzers are just never right.
I absolutely love this bronzer and it has quickly become a staple in my everyday routine. Because its so gentle and not in your face I give my whole face a light dusting with this to give it a bit of oomph :). Would highly recommend to the fair skinned among us.
My colouring goes from mega white to tanned over summer. It's the drop of maori that shows itself when the suns out.
Bronzers I have had in the past never look natural on me. I hold onto them and try over all seasons and then end up getting thrown out. This little gem, well hello!!
Depending on what makeup I'm doing I'll use it as a contour for light makeup, or all over for a glow. I love how easy it is to use and you can't go wrong with it. I use a fat brush, swish it around a couple of times, then put on in circle motions all over my face. When the sun has kissed my face with colour, I can build it up and still look natural.
It's not a dark brown or super shimmery that looks like you have a cheap fake tan with glitter on your face (trust me I've found these in the market :() it's perfect for all skin shades.
I'll defiantly be buying this again!
Tips: Start with less is best and build up slowly
