Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil Review

This product was in my (amazing) March Beauty Box and I have to admit, I scoffed at it at first. What use to me (with my jet black, well kept, fairly thin brows) could this possibly be?

As it turns out, I had no idea what I was missing. This doesn't miraculously alter my brows a lot, but what it does do is make them more defined, darker and better above my (often quite made up) eyes.

The pencil is a soft brown, which seems like it would be too light on black brows. but it's actually perfect, as what it does is tone the skin underneath so that there is no contrast between black hair and pale skin, so my brows look thicker and better defined.

The comb allows me to make sure everything is neat and tidy - and overall, the look just *works*.

At $33 I would never have thought to try this but now that I have I'm intrigued - the world of brows just opened up to me!

This was the first item I excitedly plucked from my March beauty box and I opened it straight up to give it a go. Universal? I had to try it! I'd tested brow pencils before but had never been fully satisfied with the colour or look...I tended to find it looked much less natural than when I used a brow powder. This pencil actually blew me away. It applied much smoother and easier than I expected, blended with my natural brow colour (light brown) really well while still looking quite natural. I was so happy to see the results, it was so quick and easy. I also tested it out on my mum whose brows are a blonde colour. We were worried this would be too dark for her, but true to it's name this pencil looked perfect on her also! In fact I think I'm going to have to buy one for her because it made such a huge positive difference to the overall framing of her face. A great bonus is that it's automatic and doesn't need sharpening. I'd definitely recommend this for blondes and brunettes of all shades.

I was super excited to receive this product in my beauty box. I had been using an eye pencil on my brows and found the look quite over powering. So it was with great anticipation that I tried the billion dollar pencil. I was not disappointed and haven't stopped using it daily. Firstly, i love how soft the crayon pencil is and that it is a twist top. Saves time and mess when there's no sharpening needed. I also love the brow brush on the opposite end. Great for finishing. The colour is soft and more subtle than my other pencil. I feel elegant with this pencils result. It's not so intense. Amazing that this colour works for both blondes and brunettes .

Wow. It was my goal to be working on my brows this year and work this product did for me. I got this in the March BRBB, how did they know that I was holding off till the box came.

It came in a nice white box, with instructions, ingredients list and a picture of the product inside. It has the pencil at one end for colouring your brows and a spoolee at the other end for shaping them, both ends have protective caps on them. The pencil part is extendable/retractable and doesn't need sharpening at all. The spoolee looks like a small, dry mascara brush. It is easy to use, colour in your brows to the desired shade with little strokes and then shape with the spoolee. Even I could not mess this up. As this is universal colour, you just shade until you reach your desired brow colour.

It was my first brow product as I never bothered with it previously and the first time I used it I did one eyebrow and left the other one normal, it was a huge difference. It was liked the brow I did popped, it was defined even though it needs a tweeze. I will definitely look at repurchasing this.

When I received this in my beauty box I was pretty excited! I had looked at Billion Dollar brows products before but I hadn't yet purchased anything.

The formula for this product is great! It truly is universal, I have just coloured my hair from a bright very light blonde to a light brown/ombre colour and I have used the pencil with both shades of hair and its easy to make it work for both shades. A light hand for blonde hair and with a little bit more pressure for the darker brown shade.

As a newbie to brow game I found the product incredibly easy to use, and the built in spooly brush is fantastic

I received this in the Beauty Box and I was really happy I did. I am obsessed with brows and I have tried quite a few eyebrow products to make eyebrow game always on point. I have never heard of this brand before receiving the BRBB and I really like it. It is easy to use, I love the small brush and you can apply it as light or dark as you want. It is a great product and one of my favourites from the box.

I always get my eyebrows waxed and one place I went to always filled in my brows with a pencil and I loved it, I always wondered how to achieve that look until now.. I scored the billion dollar brow pencil in the BRBB and thought I wont use this,, gutted! But than changed my mind and thought id give it a go. For someone who has had their brows waxed for over 10 years and have always trusted the Beauty therapist over my own judgement my brows are a bit patchy in the corners. This has been a huge life saver, The universal colour blends in perfectly, and I have dark brows so ive tried a few different options for colour and no luck. The pencil glides on easily and stays in place well. The brush is hard but I got used to it quickly. For the price I felt I was buying a lot for the packaging but than im so stoked to have found a brow pencil that works and can hide the patches. Im definelty wanting to purchase another one it runs out

I received this in the BRBB, I am still relatively new to the brow game so was keen to try this and compare to my current fave.

It is a dual end pencil in a really pretty silver casing - one end is the retractable pencil, and the other is a little brow brush. It is a universal pencil so suited for all eyebrow colours, the pencil itself is brown so not sure how it would suit very blond brows, but the colour is perfect for my dark brown brows (try saying that fast 3 times!).

It's quick and easy to apply the product, simply twist the pencil up and apply, it's buildable so more strokes=darker brows. The brush is fabulous for shaping the brows first and then use afterwards to blend in the product - particularly useful if you have applied it slightly unevenly.

I really like the pencil but there are a couple of things about it that put it a very firm 2nd to my EOH brow define. The lid on the brush end doesn't click into place so seems like it could be lost in a makeup bag. The other thing is the width of the pencil itself - it's quite a fat pencil (compared to the EOH) one, so requires a lot of skill to get right, which isn't great for a noob like me.

A sleek pencil styled product, which is duak end.A spollie at one end which has a lid (great hygiene ) &a retractable pencil type at the other end (also with a lid). Product colour states to be universal, so a 1 fits all type. The outside casing of this is silver/metallic. The pencil type is a dark brown colour. The texture is somewhat sticky to the skin not a gel,not a pencil but in fact waxy. Although waxy it isn't oily, neither does it leave any oily residue on the skin. Very easy to use and doesn't smudge. It has great longevity withheld perspiration,heat and a full days wear without needing touch ups. Not to sure if it would withstand the water say if you went swimming as I never tested it out. I believe to be a awesome product and a no fail even with my dark hair the colour suits me. I'm not to sure how long this would last as I've been using it daily for a week and its hard to know how much product there is. I'm not sure if I would pay that much for another 1, we will see how long this lasts and if it's a good length of time, this will increase the chances of purchasing. I'm so grateful for having received this in my March Beautybox thanks #BeautyReview for the awesome work. For a dramatic or natural look it's up to you. If you are needing a no fuss ,reliable and great quality brow pencil. Pick this one.

I received this product in the beauty review beauty box and have used it several times. Wow - I love it! It's a universal colour (weeee!) so you can make your eyebrows as light or as dark as you want. The product glides on easily, looks amazing, and blends out nicely when running the spoolie through. Retractable 'pencil', and spoolie at the other end (I love the spoolie, it's quite firm which is a must in my opinion). Easy to carry around in my hand bag too. Will defenitely be buying this product when I run out!
