This product on first trial was, yuck that is really wet and then dried feeling stiff. However, I think I was too keen and applied too much. The following days were much better. Made my centre half of the brow look much better, but my outer half of brow while looking a bit darker, not sure that it looked fuller. I will still use a bit of brow pencil on outer half before applying Brow Artist Plumper. Feel the brush needs more bristles on it, might give sparse brows a better look. But overall quite happy with look it gave my brows. I used the blonde in trial.

Tips: If you have thinning eyebrows, you might still want to put a bit of pencil on and then the plumper to give a fuller natural look.
I received the clear l'oreal brow artist plumper. I am a bit of a brow fanatic at the moment, I have brow powder brow gels everything under the sun to create the perfect brow . All apart from a finishing product.
And this ladies is what a clear brow gel is, the final touch to your awesome brow look. Its really simple to use- it has a teeny tiny mascara like wand to simply brush the product through your brows.
This is great as it keeps your eyebrow hair in place for the entire day- say good bye to those annoying stray long fuzzy wuzzy brows! This is the product for you.
The only thing to be careful of is to not over apply the product- otherwise you can end up with stiff looking eyebrows and who wants those?no one!
The packaging of the product is deceiving as it is pretty much the same as a mascara tube- which is ideal for putting in your hand bag for any necessary top ups throughout the day.
Would I purchase?yes I would! Id like to be able to get my hands on the brow plumper for brunette- though im sure this will be difficult to obtain as this will no doubt be the new hype brow product. So once all the hype settles down I would love to give a coloured gel a shot- who knows you may be able to create a great brow from just a coloured gel and mascara wand- the possibilities are endless!
Tips: Use a brow brush to make sure your eyebrows are sitting flat- or how you like them. Apply all of your other brow products before using the clear gel. Once you are happy with your new crazy brow game use the clear gel to set your look. Be gentle with the wand - if you go to crazy with it you will end up smudging your shadow/gel used previously on the eyebrow. If that happens just grab a cotton tip with your concealer/high coverage foundation on and tidy up the area :)
I was so excited to trial this! Unfortunately, I had a wee moment of forgetfulness and managed to forget to bring it with me (I went away for Easter break a couple of days after I got it in the mail), but one of my lovely friends gifted me with another so that I could complete the review. My incompetence aside, I really have enjoyed using this, and it’s made a nice addition to my everyday makeup routine.
This brow mascara comes in classic L’Oreal packaging: black with a gold band just under the lid and gold lettering. It’s small and compact and stands up well to being thrown around in my travel makeup bag (always important!). The brush is like a really tiny, slightly tapered, fibre mascara brush. I love how small it is, as it makes application nice and precise. It doesn’t seem to pick up too much product either, which means it’s not too messy.
I’ve been using this in the dark shade, which matches my (dark, hehe) eyebrows nicely – it’s not too warm-toned, which is often a problem for me with brow products. To use, I brush it up and through my brows, and comb them into place with the wand. My eyebrows are pretty full and even anyway, but this definitely adds some ‘plumpness’ and fills in slightly sparser patches, such as at the very front of my brows. The fibres definitely help add fullness, and I do suspect that this would then work really well for people with slightly sparser eyebrows.
I find that this gel sets to quite a… crunchy… finish. My brows definitely aren’t going anywhere in a hurry once I’ve applied this! I don’t really mind, but if that’s a pet peeve of yours then maybe stay away from this. :) I find that this lasts all day without fading/streaking/looking gross. I don’t know how it holds up in rain, just because I haven’t been out anywhere with it on while it’s been raining, but I’ll update this review if I find out.
Overall, I do really like this. It gives me a natural yet defined looking brow, and sets my brows firmly in place. The best thing is how easy it is to use! I probably will be repurchasing this one, and I’d definitely recommend it to others. :)
Tips: Don't apply too much at a time - I don't usually re-dip the brush for one eyebrow - this helps everything stay looking natural. :)
I personally didn't like this . The first time I used it I could actually feel the gel dry to a slightly tacky feel in my brows that I could feel as my face moved . Really strange. On subsequent uses I applied less and it seemed to fix that issue a bit. The applicator was awkward to use, especially around the thinner parts of my brow where it bled out onto my skin , but it got the job done. I love the elf 2 step brow product and this doesn't compare to that. The end result was pretty natural , almost so much that I don't see the point in bothering with it. Wouldn't purchase.
Tips: Apply sparingly.
The moment I saw this advertised on BR I felt a wee thrill run through me. I've been on the lookout for a brow defining mascara since trying a more expensive brand, and loving it. Alas, budgets being budgets I couldn't justify buying it so set out to find a dupe. I've tested a couple of brands along the way, and found the wands too big or the dark browns too light or too red toned. But this one, I had a good feeling about this one.
Off to my local Farmers I drove, only to find they'd sold out, however the tester told me that my feelings were right. The wand was little and easy to use (on my hand), and the colour - bang on dark brown. Perfect. Onto the Farmers website I hopped, and found they had stock available at my next closest Farmers, so the next day I went and bought it.
I've worn it every day since, which is only four days, but it only took one day to know I loved this. The gel formula glides easily through my brows, filling in the little patchy bits, and thickening my brows without giving me full on brow game (something my face wouldn't suit). What I end up with is a polished look, totally chic, and I've had more people compliment my 'look' in the last few days than I've had in months. The only thing that's changed? My brows. Oh, and my hair (thanks again BR! xx). It's kind of funny feeling gel in your brows, and when I raise my eyebrows or draw them together I can feel a strange stiffness, but it's by no means unpleasant. I haven't had issues with clumping, and the formula doesn't run.
I can honestly say that this is my new favourite beauty product. Can't recommend it enough.
Tips: If you get a bit brow mascara happy in any spot of your brows, run a brow comb through it to even the colour out.
I missed out on getting this product through a trial, but was lucky enough to nab it in the vault instead. The brow plumper i have comes in transparent colour, although other options are blonde, and brown.
From the outside, this product could easily be interpreted as a mascara. It comes in a thick, plastic cylinder tube, with a twist of lid, which reveal a wand applicator. The outside packaging of this is really simple and understated, which doesn't really leave much to talk about.
The spoolie type end on this wand is unqiue, and i havent seen anything like it. The best way i can describe it, is a tiny upside Christmas tree, because of its shape, and it even has tiny little bristles which remind me of the pine needles on a christmas tree. That is honestly the best way i can describe this.
The formula of this product feels really basic aswell. In the version i have, the product simply looks like a clear gel, and the consistency is really similar to the ELF clear brow gel. I don't find that it has a noticeable smell or anything either.
The brush picks up enough product to easily swipe over brows, and honestly, i still wipe product off before i run this through my brows because when you over do the gel, it does dry weirdly, and flakes. So less really is more with this one.
I like this product because it does smooth, shape and tame brows, and is so quick and easy. However, in the transparent version, this product does not plump brows at all. I will be picking up a coloured version of this and seeing if that makes any difference.
I was super excited to try this product, which may be why I was a little disappointed with its performance.
On first glance, it's really nice and it doesn't have an offensive chemically smell which is always a bonus! I really liked the little application wand, it was excellent at applying the product an combing the brows.
To me, it was just like applying a clear eyebrow gel (I was sent transparent). I didn't notice any "fibres" or any "plumping". As someone who has problem brows after a surgery in that area, I was hoping this would be a big help in cover my scars. I really wanted to love this product - but I just don't see the hype unfortunately. It's a glorified brow gel - I wouldn't waste money on it!
Tips: Don't apply too much product, the brush comes out with enough product to do a full brow
I was lucky enough to trail this product. I choose the light/medium tone as I have blonde hair. The packaging of the brow plumper is really nice with gold and black packaging, it can easily fit into your hand bag for touch ups during the day. The mini brush is nice and small and doesn't have too much product so its not too messy to apply. You do not need to have a lot of gel on the brush for it to make a difference, a small amount goes a long way. When applied this product dries very quickly and lasts all day. The only thing I did not like about the brow plumper is that the gel is a little bit glittery which can be quite noticeable. However I am very impressed with this product and it made my brows look nice and not too overdone, I highly recommend this product.
I have quite sparse eyebrows so I was very intrigued when I came across this brow plumper. I decided to give it a go not really expecting much but I really like it!! You could use this by itself for a tidy more full brow look but since mine are very sparse I like to fill them in with a little bit of pencil first. I then apply the brow plumper and it really helps to give them a tidy, natural and full look. It really helps to define the shape of my brows and make them look a lot better than pencil alone, it also gives them a bit of colour which helps them to look more full.
Tips: You only need a little bit of the product, I find that too much makes the brows look unnatural so give the brush a wipe before applying to get rid of excess product.
I got the light to medium and I found it was too dark for me however it definitely made my brows look better they stood out and it gave them more definition and made them look a lot thicker, it was really simple to use and it didn't take long either and it looked like there was a slight metallic sheen to it, I tried it in the transparent version and it worked much better for me, it made my eyebrows thicker and nicer I really love the look.
Tips: Make sure you take any loose eyebrows off the brush each time you use it I found mine would stick to the brush just like 2 or 3 of them.
