L'Oreal Paris Brow Artist Plumper Review

Okay so I usually leave my eyebrows up to the experts because I'm afraid I'll completely mess it up :)

I accepted the trial as I thought it would be a good start to doing my own eyebrows.

When the product arrived it didn't have any packaging and no instructions or tips on how to use the product :(

So I just went ahead and used the product. The brush size I thought was good, but as I have nothing to compare it to im not sure if that's what there all like.

When I applied the product it just seemed so thick even though there wasn't a lot on the brush and it made my eyebrows look wet and not very nice.

Afterward when it had dried it didn't look like I had used anything at all and I couldn't even tell what it was supposed to do. I didn't notice any difference to my eyebrows.

Maybe I need a little more experience with eyebrow products, but when I don't have much instruction or tips to help me I found it a little hard.

I was lucky enough to trail this product. I choose the light/medium tone as I have blonde hair. The packaging of the brow plumper is really nice with gold and black packaging, it can easily fit into your hand bag for touch ups during the day. The mini brush is nice and small and doesn't have too much product so its not too messy to apply. You do not need to have a lot of gel on the brush for it to make a difference, a small amount goes a long way. When applied this product dries very quickly and lasts all day. The only thing I did not like about the brow plumper is that the gel is a little bit glittery which can be quite noticeable. However I am very impressed with this product and it made my brows look nice and not too overdone, I highly recommend this product.

Well after using this for a good week I'm still unsure whether u would actually buy this to replace it.

It's a great product and does tame the eye brows (mine are pretty tame anyhow) however I do to think it boosts them by any means. I think this could benifit someone who has very sparse eyebrows. As mine are quite full to start with.

The wand is very small and pointed so you can get the edges of your brows without going over. The gel is def not runny and dries matte. Te packaging is easy to hold being the same as a mascara bottle so it's easy to use and the feel is rather comfortable.

It's very light weight and once on you don't actually realise it's there.

Would I use it daily. Yes and I have been. I don't know whether to replace it it not once it's gone. I do like it how it gives a little more definition than just the eyebrow kit I use.

I was lucky enough to receive this product from BR to trial, and I am happy to report I have been using it every day since it arrived! I have the dark brunette version.

The product comes in a simple black tube, with a brown lid and gold writing. The packaging is nothing special really, and it’s about the size of a standard mascara tube. The wand is about 1cm long which might be good for thicker brows but personally I’d prefer it to be a bit smaller. The gel is I would say a dark brown colour which looks very natural on my brows.

I have been using this gel on its own most days, and it adds volume to your existing brows while making them slightly darker aswell. The fibres in the gel stick to even your smallest brow hairs to give the appearance of fuller brows. This gel is a great everyday option for giving your brows a bit more definition while still looking natural. It holds my brows in place all day, without feeling sticky or thick and the gel dries quickly, but not too quick that you need to rush which is great. If you prefer to have more defined brows this also works great over filled in eyebrows just to give a bit more oomph and to hold brows in place.

The only thing I didn’t like is the size of the brush, It’s a bit too wide for my brows and this can make it a bit messy if you’re not careful, so I normally have to clean up a few spots around the edge of my brows. I will definitely continue using this product though, as it’s easy to get a bit more definition without spending the time it would normally take me to fill them in.

Ok so I'm not one of those brow girls with amazing brows always looking on form.. That's not me, my eyebrows are the last thing i take care of on my face... Sad I know but my priorities are clean clothes and a simple made up face...(toddler in tow at every move) After a week of using this product which is classic mascara shape and size, my eyebrows now have a life of their own, a quick swipe with my brow plumper and they are more defined and stay in shape all day! ! I do love how it's easy and does what it says BUT can I live without it? Yes...and will it be on my forever shopping list?? No... It didn't really wow me :-(

I was lucky enough to be selected to trial L'Oreal Paris Brow Artist Plumper in Transparent. Originally I had selected to trial this product in Dark Brunette as I have dark hair.

My brows are naturally quite sparse so I usually have to fill them in with a pencil to create that fuller, thicker look.

This product comes in a tube similar to mascara. I chose to try this after filling my brows in with a pencil first. I found it was easy to open and the wand is just like a mascara wand. It has a small brisstled tip at the end for easy applictaion of the gel. I dipped the wand in the tube and applied the gel to my brow. It was cool and seemed to dry rather fast. I only had to use a tiny amount of the gel on both my brows. A little seems to go a long way with this product.

Once it had dried, my brow hairs stayed in place all day. I was quite impressed with the staying power actually and my brows did appear to look fuller and thicker.

There's a fair amount of gel in the tube of this product so if you use it on a daily basis, it would last you quite awhile. It seems to go quite far as you only need to use a small amount.

I would recommend this, it's reasonably affordable compared to other expensive brow products out there. It comes in three shades so there's something for everyone . :)

I am so glad I got to try this! I have been wanting to try Benefit's Gimme Brow for a while now but have had to think twice because it is just so darn expensive for such a small amount of product. But now I've found it's dupe and for a fraction of the price! I love that it's such a large tube and that there are 3 shades to choose from. I personally have what looks like non-existent brows from afar so need to use a brow gel first, before using this to set it. I end up with some full brows that are perfectly defined and stays on all day. Will definitely repurchase!

I love brows. My brows are my favourite thing about my face and if they don't look good I feel like a homeless. So I took this review very seriously. Usually I use my Elf Eyebrow Kit with Gimmie Brow from Benefit and maybe the odd dark shadow. So to test product, I used it where I would usually use the Gimme Brow, right after I sculpt and shape with the eyebrow kit. Now this product is good, the colour fit me perfectly (medium brown I think) and my brows definitely stayed in play all day. A couple of things though- the wand is SO BIG, its bigger than my actual brow haha so applying was a bit tricky which meant I didn't get many 'fibers' in my brows which I don't really mind also. But I do think they need to make the wand smaller or bring out a smaller model aswell. Also, when I say it stays, IT STAYS. Washing my face with makeup remover and cleansers left my eyesbrows running (like a waterproof mascara would do) I mean, its pretty tough to get off haha.

But, I would use it again and probably keep using till it runs out- although, unless its substantially cheaper than Gimmie Brow from Benefit, I probably wont purchase.

What a neat idea - a brow product that looks like a mascara! I have to admit, this wasn't what I was expecting. I was a bit surprised to see the brush that looked so much like a mascara wand, I was expecting something a bit more "brush-like". That being said, I don't think something brush-like would have the same effect on my brows. The mascara wand does pick them up and plump them out, as advertised.

I went back and forth between which one I wanted to try - I was tempted by the transparent, but I decided to try the blonde in the hopes that I wouldn't have to do any further filling. I'm glad I did! It works a treat, bringing my brows into line, and also filling them out a bit. I've got quite sparse brows, so I was happy that I could create the illusion that they were a little less sparse.

The gel feels interesting going on - it's a bit cool, like you'd expect a gel to be. I was happy that it didn't go crunchy or flake during the day, it has great staying power. I was also happy that it didn't have a shine to it - I halfway expected it would, because of the gel 'feel' to it on application. But it stayed matte throughout the day. It also felt quite natural - if I touched my brows, I didn't feel like I'd caked mascara or gel on them.

My one complaint is with the brush - while I understand why you'd want it to be like a mascara brush (so that it lifts and plumps) I wish there was a way that it could also have a brush - because the colour matched quite well, I wanted to be able to extend the line a bit. To do this, I have to use the hard tip of the mascara brush, it isn't very comfortable. It looks good, and lasts a long time, but the application isn't as nice or precise as I'd like.

The brow plumper for me definately did work my eyebrows look and feel great. Ive had a few people comment on them asking what i did. Id highly recommend l'oreal to anyone. I love the fact my eyebrows feel great ive never been one to worry about my eyebrows but since trialling the eyebrow plumper im definately hooked and will be using it from now on. The fact the tube is small and compact is a great idea and perfect size for my small handbag the colour also suits me perfectly my husband says it looks great on me which is a great confidence boost for my self esteem. My teenage daughter also loves it too, both of us are most definately loving the l'oreal products and are greatful that i get to trialling such amazing stuff.
