Im onto my second tube of this! I wear the 'petunia' colour which i find looks great on everyone! it makes your lips feel silky and smooth without the feeling of being overly thirsty which i find a lot of lipbalms do. its a bit more expensive but totally worth it. and the tint isnt over the top so it looks nice and natural if u match it to your lip colour

Tips: dont apply too much of it looks clumpy, apply a few swishes then dap lips LIGHTLY with a tissue
This is an excellent lip balm. I have used it twice and it does an amazing job at keeping my lips really soft and smooth. It's a bit expensive compared to other lip balms but it does the job perfectly. And it has a little bit of colour.
I'm not a lipstick nor lipgloss gal, so this is perfect! Very subtle scent and taste, gorgeous hint of colour with the moisturising goodness of a lip balm.
I got gifted a set of these for my birthday and love them! They have a very sheer colour to them which is great for subtle hint of colour on the lips. When applied they have a very moisturising feeling which isn't to slimy. The texture is therefore smooth and you can feel it on your lips, but it's not too heavy. Overall these are some of the better lip balms I have used and they give great lasting results, with re-application only needed every 3 or so hours. I will definitely buy more of these when they run out.
Tips: Apply more thin layers of the balm for more of an opaque look.
I love the Burt's Bees range of Lip Products. They are what they say they are, moisturising and nourishing. They have a lovely light scent to them and with a light hint of colour can really brighten your lips quick and easy. I love the shimmer stick ones too which are thinner but lovely. The only thing I struggle with now is the price as a mum of soon to be 3 under 5, especially when my daughters quite like them too!
The lipbalm took quite a lot of use to give off more colour to my lips but it was very moisturising and does not build up the yucky slimy things that a lot of other lipbalms do after a few hours. Another thing is that it doesn't roll back down after rolling it up to apply. But other than that this lipbalm is a good one to get.
I'm a big fan of Burts bees lip balm, just a slight translucent hint of colour, a lovely we twist tube be it plain or the shimmer with a hint of lip warming menthol, I find them lovely and moisturising doesn't go sticky, just the slightest of sent especially the honey one, so easy to just have on the go when you need some good moisturising for your lips, it's a product that will always travel overseas with me
Tips: Apply as needed especially after giving your lips a good scrubb to stop your lips drying out and the better condition our lips are the better lipstick will look, i
First impressions : I really like the simple but attractive BB packaging. This is a little more sophisticated than the straight forward balm packaging which is nice. I think it gives it a more mature feel.
Product : I purchased the "Rose" shade. Nice easy application, sheer but pretty colour, perfect for day time when you can't be bothered with lipstick. Unfortunately for me this gave me asthma. I'm not sure what ingredient it was but I do find a lot of balms/lipsticks do.
Final thoughts : Seeing as that's more of a "me" issue I would still say I like the product overall as it's nice and hydrating and my lips felt light and not sticky.
Tips: If you suffer from asthma proceed with caution on this one. Maybe test it in store before buying.
This product gives my lips a subtle and natural looking tint as well as providing them with some moisture.
It is not as moisturising as other lip balms, but is pretty great for a tinted one (others I have used can be quite drying).
I find that I can build the colour up a little bit by applying a few coats, or just one swipe over the lips for a hint.
The packaging is nice and simple, quite natural looking which I like. Product smells and tastes quite nice.
I purchased this on a whim today - wanting (a little bit of) colour and a moisterizing lip product. Had a look at the Burt's Bees display and they all smelled really nice (their whole lip collection) and at first thought it came in a jumbo sized lip balm but turned out to be in minimalist packaging...
Did exactly what it said it would do - give just a tiny bit of colour and kept my lips moisterized for a good 2-3 hours without needing to reapply, but probably did reapply later on for a colour top up.
You really do feel the product on your lips - which is good and bad depending on your own personal preference. It's not TOO much of a "feel" but I guess you could say you definitely do feel it working !
Tips: I think no matter how much you put on, the colour won't increase that dramatically which is good for an everyday look =)
