I found the eyeshadow was very easy to crumble. Didn't stick to the lid easily which resulted in stay eye shadow on my face. Some colours you have to apply multiple times and others are quite thickly coloured. Just not worth the hassle really. Cheap product, invest the money into something else

I like how this palette has 48 different colors in it, that are highly pigmented. I’m very impressed with the color pay off and how long lasting they are for the price. In a way it is good value for your money. There are some really gorgeous colors, its very versatile and you can create so many looks with this palette.
On the downside I find the product itself is extremely chalky and when applying it you have to be careful not to get any fallout because its almost impossible not to get any fall out with these eye shadows. I also don't like the packaging as its not very sturdy, the clear bits on top of the palette broke very easily.
I found this useful for when I'm getting ready for an evening out or for when I want a very intense look. I like to use primer and/or a cream base. Then I cover underneath my eye with a tissue and tape, and then I grab a flat shader brush and press the eyeshadow in rather than sweeping it. I would recommend this to a beginner as it is- A) Affordable B) You can have so much fun creating and learning new looks with the palette.
Tips: The brush supplied is very cheap quality, I wouldn’t even bother attempting to use it. Your far better off using your own brush. Try patting/pressing the eye shadow on rather than sweeping to avoid major fallout.
There is some variety of colors but in all honesty, this would be something a 13 year old girl playing around with makeup would buy. It is extremely chalky and fragile, although when applied correctly it does give off a nice visible shimmer. I still do use my palette, but for only to use in the corners of my eyes if I am going out, just to make them stand out. This is an affordable price for the different colors but be cautious as to how well each pallette will stay uncracked
I was drawn in by the glint of every colour I could imagine in one place. It was eye candy so I HAD to have it! $16 is a very reasonable price to pay for a very budget conscious person two big ticks for me so far and I haven't even got in to the compact. But in all honesty this is where it stalls and falls short for me. For me there aren't enough darker colours to create smokey eye looks with.
The compact itself is quite boring really. It has no pop and sparkle and that is was draws me in with packaging. I used my best shadow brush in the Real Techniques range to make sure I was applying with quality tools. The fall out is horrendous because it's so chalky. The shadow literally falls off the brush the moment I lift it beyond an inch of the compact therefore wasting product and having to double dip to get enough.
Applying it to my eyes and I wonder to myself.....when does the colour start to show? It was so diluted down once applied. I want statement colours full of pigment but I just never really got that. I felt ripped off. I had to apply the shadow five times before I saw any real colour. Fast forward three hours and check my makeup. Hello! There's a line of shadow build up where my eye lid crease is. This has ever happened before, not even with $2 shop eyeshadows. I had no colour anywhere else on my lid except on the crease. I looked ridiculous and not being able to fix it chewed in to my OCD issues to have perfect makeup everytime. I gave it the benefit of the doubt thinking it might be the amount I applied so kept it to just one swipe of the brush plus blending. Same thing happened! Needless to say this sat in the bottom of my makeup draw until I passed it on to my nine year old niece for play makeup which is what it more suited for! Not impressed at all really.
Tips: Do not apply too many layers it creates a line at the lid crease of your eye
I brought this quite cheaply from Kmart purely because I loved the look of the bright colours. I've had so much fun with this palette experimenting with all the amazing sparkly pigments. The colours aren't what I would use for everyday make up but it's great for a night out.
The packaging ins't anything amazing but I like that you can see the colours through the lid. The brushes that come with it aren't that great so I usually just use other brushes that I have.
This palette caught my eye with its mass of sparkly colours. I am all for trying bright eyeshadows and I thought this would give me a huge variety. I also just loved how sparkly the shades looked, because my other rainbow palette is matte.
What this palette had going for it was a nice presentation of the shadows and a wonderful price tag. The packaging was a cheap plastic, but that was to be expected at that price.
I found the shadows inside fairly average. I wouldn't say they were highly pigmented, but I wouldn't say they were not pigmented either. Just average. There were certainly plenty of colours to play with, but I would have liked things like a neon yellow instead of several shades of pastel pink and blue. I thought each colour of the colour wheel could have been represented a little more evenly. But this is usually a problem with palettes like this, so I wasn't surprised.
In terms of consistancy it was a little chalky and there was a little fallout. But all could be solved by putting on your foundation last.
Overall, a really good palette for the price, but not the best around.
All the colours, the glorious colours. I brought this from Kmart because of the amazing colours and the price tag of course is pretty amazing too.
I've created some really awesome looks with these, Glamour and drag queen to special effects. No I'm not a makeup artist, just a beginner with the drive to be one.
I think this is great to begin with, to experiment with. It's also great to use if you have a clear gloss and want to add some colour to your lips.
I would have loved some neon colours in there, that would of been the cherry on top but I think this pallet has a theme, scene to it.
I'm definitely enjoying using this pallet and recommend it to anyone.
Tips: Mix some clear gloss and a pigment of your choice onto your hand and you've got a whole new lip colour!
I love playing around with different (and sometimes rather experimental) eyeshadow looks. And for that you need a decent palette with lots of colour options. This is that palette. I've used it before for anything from a light touch of sparkle to full-blown crazy Halloween makeup and it works for everything. This is a must buy product!
The first thing to know is that all the colours are shimmery and quite bright, so you won't be able to use this single palette to do a look. You'll definitely need some other matte eyeshadows for the crease and to add dimension. But overall, the palette itself is amazing! While the pigmentation isn't as good as Morphe/Urban Decay, it's still pretty good and you can easily build up the colour. The first two columns containing the lighter shades are probably the palettes downfall because they aren't very pigmented, are chalky and have a lot of fall out (that's okay with me because they're too light to look good on my skin tone anyway). Surprisingly, the blue and light green shadows are also not the most pigmented either. Unfortunately, silver shades are just way too chalky. Normally, purple shadows are the ones with issues but the purples in this palettes are absolutely gorgeous! The pink, red, dark greens, gold and bronze shadows are really pretty too! And the black shadow is mind blowing.
After wearing the shadows for a while, they do begin to lose their shimmer. Overall, this palette is really good for a beginner or just playing around with different looks without breaking the bank
Tips: Use an eyeshadow primer and setting spray to make them last longer. Also, use a flat, packing brush to build up the colour.
I love this eyeshadow it is beautiful and smooth to use easy to mix colours and combine them no smudging shimmers in the light you can use as much or as little as you like lasts all day you don't even feel like your wearing I love it
Tips: Go out and get you one
