These would have been a godsend had I known about them for my daughter's ballet exams last year! I seriously think the most stressful thing about them is getting the hair to stay looking sleek and held together - these make that so much easier! They have a fantastic grip and once they're in, they're in, so theres no chance of them falling out and the bun getting loose, which is fantastic. The only unfortunate thing is that my daughter has so much hair I need to buy another pack because 3 isn't quite enough for her mane - but that's not really a complaint!

My daughter & I have a lot of hair! When I got a set of these in my BRBB, I was hoping this could be the greatest thing for us. but first - how does one use these?? The instructions on the back werent too clear, so off to youtube I went & within minutes I was attempting to get them to stay in my hair. turning them clockwise to get them in & anticlockwise to get them out. it wasnt quite happening for me, but when I tried a half hair bun I had more success. Putting them into my daughter hair, was easy as pie! She has to have a very neat bun every week & low enough for her to wear a hat. 3 of these spinners inserted like a star & we are winning. I do put a bun net over the top, but seriously the easiest & quickest way yet. Also, these spinners are seriously strong, the metal hasn't distorted, although a little of the colour has worn off from where they cross each other. Colour wise - it doesnt really matter, they disappear into the hair & hide very effectively. I need to play some more with these for my hair.
Edit: the colour is coming off these more than I would like, but soon they will be silver, which will be ok.
Tips: To get them out, unscrew them anti clockwise. Insert them so they cross, like an X if using two, or a star if using 3.
I've got lots of hair. It's thick, it's long and has a mind of its own. Unmanageable describes it well.... Until my Beauty Box arrived, that is! Now I've got these Cameo Bobby spinners, I can have an UP do or low bun in minutes... and know it will look the same after hours and hours. My first attempts were a bit unco, especially removing them, but practice helps.
Don't know why they weren't invented sooner.. I won't be without them again.
Tips: Coat your clips with clear nail polish to avoid any signs of wear as the colour does scratch off a bit
I was quite skeptical about this product it did not look like it work at all but I tried them for an up do I wanted for a party, and they worked brilliantly, I still will probably use ordinary bobby pins as I am too used to them, but this is a great alternative
The bobby spinners came in the March Beauty Box. It was nice seeing something in the box for hair. When I first saw it I was worried I wouldn't know what to do. I turned the packet around and on the back it had a guide on how to use them. Thank goodness for that.
These Bobby Spinners come in a Three pack. They were securely placed in the packet the came in. They feel like metal Springs. Their spiralled metal springs to secure and bind the hair.
On application of this bobby spinner, I grabbed my hair wrapped it into a bun then inserted the spinner in the middle of my hair and screwed it in. It was quite easy to do this. I found my hair had tension and felt secure and tight. I found it easy to unravel my hair when I was finished using it.
My results was nice tight secure bun. It did need a hair band to give it extra support. I wasn't able to use it solely on its own. I did enjoy using this product.
I was rather sceptical about these wee babies, they seemed to be too small to be so strong, but they are!!!
I have long hair and wear my hair up at least half the time, and found these to be great for keeping my hair in place without a bulky clip.
I do use about six in my hair just to ensure it stays up, but my hair is one and heavy.
Would certainly recommend to others, they are very easy to use, and easy to find, unlike regular bobby pins and hair grips which seem to vanish before my very eyes!
Great product!!!
After much confusion of wondering what I was accidently placed in my BRBB box, I thought wait.. the BR girls don't do mistakes! These must be heaven waiting to be unboxed. So I went on to read about what they do, and honestly, I didn't believe they would be that great.
These little suckers are actually amazing. At first you wonder what on earth they do, but once you get the gist of it, you would never let go.
Put your hair in a bun, pop these in just like a screwdriver (without the pain of course) and you end up with the PERFECT bun! No tangles, no hassle, and best of all... no bulges in your hair that make it ever so obvious that you have something there.
They're an amazing item that I would definitely rebuy.
I got mine in the BRBB and had only heard of them a week prior.
My hair is shoulder length, soft and fine. Putting my hair up requires strong things! A hair tie or A strong claw type clip. Never ever can I just use Bobby pins. They aren't anywhere near strong enough to hold anything in. I don't even bother with them anymore.
When I seen these I tried them right away. Grabbed my hair in a pony tail, twisted it around into a messy bun and twisted 2 of these in. I waited a few minutes waiting to see my hair drop..nope, nothing! I shook my head and thought that will make it all fall out! Nope again! Everything stayed in place!
I can put my hair up in the morning and it will stay in all day with these. They are wee magical springs of amazing grabbyness! I love how they aren't noticeable in my hair. They don't make your hair flat like when clips are put in they sit flat on your head. They twist in and put really easily.
Already I have got extras incase a sad day comes and I loose one. They are Fantastic
These are strong. I haven't mastered anything other then a bun but I'm sure someone more creative then myself would! I wouldn't use them on a day to day basis but the other day my hair tie broke and the did the trick!
These were a nice little surprise in the March BRBB, when I first saw these I thought I probably wont use them. But I do like to try everything at least once. I don't know why these weren't invented earlier. I wear a bun quite regularly and by the end of the day its coming loose(sometimes by lunch). With these spinners it holds really well, it doesnt come out at all. Will be great to use for future up-do's. Easy to spin into place, a little harder for my clumsy fingers to get out(can't just pull it).
