I have owned at least 5 different types of teasing brushes and this one would be the one I like the most.
I was sent one of these in one of the Beauty review beauty boxes, I really like the colour, its bright, its bold and you can find it nearly anywhere.
The end has a pointy edge, its great for parting your hair or putting it into precise sections.
I have very fine and thin hair so I need as much volume as I can get. I like to give the top of my hair volume so section a long chunk of hair and using the brush I slide it down my hair from mid length down to the roots, when Im happy with the result I spray it with hair spray and gently smooth the top. It takes me half the time to tease my hair compared to a regular comb.
It also makes a great "dreading" brush, I recently made some synthetic dreads and I used this to back comb. It made my work so much easier, I was nearly finished making my dreads when I couldn't find my teasing brush and I had to finish the rest with my regular brush (My son had hid it somewhere), thats when I realized how handy and less time consuming this brush is.
I am very happy with this brush, after having this brush I purchased the bigger version of this, the brush is the same but twice as wide, its fantastic!
I highly recommend this brush!
I was interested to get this brush in the March BRBB. I looked it it and thought, hmmn, that looks looks a pretty ordinary brush.
It's a cool dark pink, and has 3 rows of hard black bristles.
I haven't tried it for teasing because my hair is fine and quite fragile and breaks off easily under pressure, but after washing, drying, and brushing my hair, I run this brush over and it smooths flyaways and frizz, very very well.
This is all I use it for, but I'm very happy with it for that purpose and as it is advertised as being $6, it is a great brush for the price and the purpose.
I would recommend it to others to try - another weapon in the flyaway hair arsenal!
