Cancer Society After Sun Gel

It’s always nice buying a product that does what it claims. This is no exception. Helps a lot after you spend too much time swimming and forgetting to reapply the SPF! Instant relief, for various degrees of sunburns and is something everyone should have in the cupboard , especially if you have kids.

I absolutely love this product! I always make sure I have some on hand and take it with me along with my sunscreens if am going away, even just for a day trip, as part of my first aid kit. It is just marvellous. Really helps calm down and rehydrate skin that has been slightly over exposed to the sun, and can greatly reduce the possibility of worse damage overnight and lessen peeling in my experience. I apply a lot, just keep coating it on. It just marvellous.

I know that you should not let sun exposure get to the point when you have had too much and you need to use an after sun product with aloe vera to help heal the burn. However, it’s easy to miss a patch of skin when you apply sunscreen, or to forget how long you have been in the sun. And when that happens it is great to have a well working product that you can rely on. The Cancer Society After Sun gel works really well to calm the skin when you have overdone it a bit in the sun. I generally prefer after sun gels with aloe vera to other after sun products as aloe vera helps with burns. It does not just make your skin temporarily feel better, it actually helps with skin repair after a burn. The gel has a really nice consistency and is not sticky like some other products with aloe vera. I also think the price is really fair, especially given that funds raised will go to the Cancer Society, and that this product is made in New Zealand. I usually try to buy NZ made products when possible, and this is definitely one that I will buy again.

I love this product!! It soothes the skin after a day in the sun and the days after as well. It does take a little while to dry but once it’s does it still soothes. It’s not sticky or messy and doesn’t smell either

This is lovely to use after a big day in the sun. It is cooling and soothing. It dries properly and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth.

After being outside on a hot day this is so cool and soothing on the skin. Its not heavy and the gel texture feels nice. Aloe Vera is just an amazing must have. It’s especially cooling if kept in the fridge.

Best thing to use after sunburn. Takes the sting away immediately as long as it is left in the fridge. Leaves skin hydrated aswell so the chances of peeling are low if you use this for the time you are burnt.
