CeraVe Moisturising Lotion

I suffer from hand eczema. I am a mom of twin babies and my hands are in water all day which obviously dries my skin. With regular use of the lotion, my hands stays hydrated which prevents any flare ups. It's a thin, non oily lotion which works well as a hand lotion. Love the pump bottle, handy as I dont have a lot of time to open and close containers. Would definitely keep buying.

So, I normally wait until the very end of a trial to post review but this has impressed me so much! Whilst I have normal skin, and haven’t noticed much difference, my 12 yr old daughter who has eczema has been using this with me to trial as well. we have we have a very good routine for her eczema but it has flared up lately and not settled. By day 2 of using this product, we both noticed a massive improvement with her skin. She gets eczema on the backs of her knees, inner arm by elbow, and around her mouth. The eczema around her mouth can get quite flaky and cracked and very painful. By day 2, flakies have gone and by day 4, completely cleared! (She uses morning and night). It absorbs quickly into the skin, which we both love, and her confidence has improved so much! We will now be converting to ceraVe for her new routine! So grateful that was was chosen for this trial, purely because my little girls confidence has grown with quick improvement of her skin….especially at such a big time in her life when she’s going through so many changes :) I don’t know what magic is in this lotion but if you have dry, eczema prone skin, THIS IS FOR YOU!

I was very skeptical of this product..... a moisturizer with all the benefits but not too heavy? How good is this! Been using it morning and night alongside my usual products and it's been great. No nasty film left, no dryness and best of all no BREAKOUTS! I will definitely use again. Too early to tell if the claims are real but I'm so relieved that I don't have my standard acne spots with a change in moisturizer.

I have been using this moisturiser daily for the last week and have been loving it! I have dry skin and this product works great for me.

The moisturiser comes in a simple, pump bottle that's easy to use and doesn't make a mess. The product itself is lightweight and non-scented. I haven't been using a lot and it spreads into my skin very easily. It rubs in almost immediately and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. After applying my skin feels great, instantly moisturised and it gives my skin hydration that lasts all day.

I have no complaints about this moisturiser and will definitely be repurchasing! It is everything I look for in a moisturiser, effective, affordable, and works great for my dry skin!

I loved this moisturiser. It absorbs into the skin beautifully, non greasy. The smell is ok, don't love it but it’s just a gentle unscented type smell and that smell goes very fast anyway, which is great as I don’t like smells/scents that linger much anyway. I have an itchy arm quite often and this moisturise was great to calm down the itch, and also leaves this lovely gently cooling feeling on the skin that lasts just a little while. But it’s really nice. Definitely light enough to use on my face if I didn’t have anything else, but I have specific ones I use for my face usually. I would use it occasionally on my face though. Love that cool feeling it leaves on my skin. Definitely is what it says it does, does what it says it does. Only thing I wouldn’t rave about is the smell, which is why I used it mostly on my body and less on my face. Overall, I will definitely buy it and will be using it regularly. I will also be using it for my 8 year old daughter for any dry skin too. Great moisturiser for the whole family.

I love the CeraVe Moisturising Lotion, it is so lightweight and hydrating, it soaks into my skin really quickly and doesn’t sit on top. I love using it especially in my elbows and knees which are often dry and I love using it on my hands every morning and every night before bed, my hands have been so dry from all the extra hand sanitising so this lotion is amazing! It’s not greasy and doesn’t smell funny, I would recommend to anyone wanting a hydrating moisturising lotion that absorbs really quickly. Good for sensitive skin or anyone not wanting fragrance, my little girl also likes to use it.

This lotion has that look about it of a no nonsense, scientifically proven, possibly a bit boring, no frills option. An easy to use pump bottle delivered an unscented, light lotion that spread very quickly and easily, absorbed immediately, and left no greasy, sticky, itchy residue at all. Most importantly though, it worked. And I would rather use something that works than something with frills. My dry, slightly scaly skin was left soft and supple. I even used this on my face before bed as a lighter alternative to a night cream. The fact that it’s non-comedogenic meant I didn’t have to worry about breakouts and clogged pores. I even tried this on a patch of emerging psoriasis on my elbow and it stopped it in its tracks (that’s never happened before). Now I really want to try the cream for the extra dry bits.

This is probably one of the best moisturising products I've used. It's not anything fancy in that it doesn't have a luxurious fragrance or feel, but it does exactly what it says it does. Application is easy, although you do need to rub it in a bit and if you use too much, it can feel a bit greasy. Some moisturisers tend to feel greasy or oily and sit on top of your skin after application - this one feels a bit greasy at first, but after a few minutes, your skin feels hydrated and soft and stays that way all day. In terms of the bottle, it's easy to use with no fuss, and again, the packaging is nothing super exciting but it's a great product so it speaks for itself once you use it. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who has dry skin or even just wants a moisturiser that works and doesn't leave your skin feeling oily for ages afterwards.

I chose the lotion over the cream as I like the pump action. It's a good sized bottle and a good shape, great for taking away. As an after shower moisturiser it's easy to apply, non-greasy and fragrance free. Overall, it's a very good body moisturiser, especially if you have drier skin and it lasts all day. I will buy it again.
