Grabbed from the Beauty Vault, I’ve been using the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream twice a day after cleansing with the CeraVe skin Smoothing Cleanser. It’s very thick, smooths on easily and sits nicely over various serums or under makeup.
The CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream comes in a decent sized tube with a strong cap, for a reasonable price. As well as moisturising dry skin, it exfoliates. softens and smoothes rough skin, leaving my face super soft.
I was concerned that using such a heavy product would cause me to break out but it hasn’t - my skin is looking gorgeous! I just wish it contained SPF as I do need to consider the time of day, season and day ahead as to whether a product containing SPF is the more suitable choice.
I used the Dermalogica skin smoothing cream for several years until I was in a position where I just couldn’t justify paying it’s price and I actually like this product better!
I picked this up in the vault, thanks BR! I have used a couple of Cerave products before and loved them so was excited to try this out.
It comes in a squeezy tube with a flip top lid. Quick and easy to dispense but when you start getting near the end I find it easier to just cut the tube open so you can use every little bit.
It is a thick, white consistency and has no fragrance at all. I started off using this on my face, it makes a nice base for makeup but I found that it really bought out my pimples! So I stopped using it on my face and targeted the tops of my arms amd legs that were a bit bumpy.
It absorbs well and doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky at all. I noticed after about a week of using on my arms and legs that they were super smooth and all the little bumps had gone away! Awesome!
So I totally recommend this for anyone with bumpy skin! Really happy with the results and how fast it works. I also like using it on my feet to keep them nice and soft.
