I love the SA cleanser and love this moisturiser just as much. I have oily congested skin and this moisturiser is so hydrating and thick but not heavy, the salicylic acid in it exfoliates your dead dry skin away and clears congestion. So it’s an amazing product. It is abit of a different texture, more on the dry side and it does dry on the skin very quickly.
Tips: A little bit goes a long way
Paired with the cleanser, this product works a charm! It’s good for sensitive skin, and definitely leaves the skin feeling smooth and bump-free. You may feel a tingling, but I personally believe that means the product is working. My dry, bumpy, textured skin is left feeling soft, clear, and smooth as a baby’s bottom. Not only that, but it’s HYDRATED. An amazing feat, considering how dry my skin is.
This has made my skin smooth and even toned, I suffer from super dry knees, nothinnngg worrkkks. In walks Cerave!! What is this magic!! I also suffer from Keratosis pilaris on my arms and when I pair this with the cleanser from the same range it literally zapped them away within a week. Why is this product more widely shared, I have tried EVERYTHING to get rid of those bumps!! From $$$$ to $ !! I stumbled across a derm blog and this popped up, so so so glad I gave it a try! Affordable, effective, why wouldn’t you?
Skin doesn’t feel oily and you only need a little bit to cover face. It doesn’t feel heavy on my skin which is good for me, Would recommend
Love how this cream feels on your face. I use this everyday after I’ve used my Cerave SA smoothing cleanser and since I’ve started my skin is looking brighter, healthier and not so dry like it usually is! The texture of this cream is a bit thick which is why it feels so good to apply and a little goes a long way!
Grabbed from the Beauty Vault, I’ve been using the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream twice a day after cleansing with the CeraVe skin Smoothing Cleanser. It’s very thick, smooths on easily and sits nicely over various serums or under makeup.
The CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream comes in a decent sized tube with a strong cap, for a reasonable price. As well as moisturising dry skin, it exfoliates. softens and smoothes rough skin, leaving my face super soft.
I was concerned that using such a heavy product would cause me to break out but it hasn’t - my skin is looking gorgeous! I just wish it contained SPF as I do need to consider the time of day, season and day ahead as to whether a product containing SPF is the more suitable choice.
I used the Dermalogica skin smoothing cream for several years until I was in a position where I just couldn’t justify paying it’s price and I actually like this product better!
Tips: Use in tandem with the CeraVe Skin Smoothing cleanser.
I have been using this moisturiser along with the CeraVe SA smoothing cleanser for the last week. I have been such an improvement in my skin, my breakouts are almost gone, my skin feels fresh, hydrated and is starting to glow again.
This product is thick but not greasy and absorbs into the skin quickly. Makeup goes on really nicely over the top.
Tips: The design of the tube means when you are coming to the end of the product you can cut the tube in half, there is still a weeks + product left inside to use!
i use this as the last step in my skin care routine and its honestly my fav product i use. it cleared up my acne so fast. its very hydrating and leaves my skin feeling so soft. i recommend this to everyone its the best
Great product - I brought this for hydration and exfoliation - it’s thick, hydrating and makes my skin look great. Gets rid of super dry looking skin and helps with KP. I would happily repurchase. I think I’ll try the cleanser next for my body.
