CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream

I suffer from bad eczema. Since covid with all the hand washing and sanitizer I have got dermatitis on my hands that I haven't been able to get rid of for 2years now. I have literally tried every cream and steroid cream you can imagine.

I was impressed with this hand cream. I have it next to the sink so after I wash my hands I use it as this is when my hands are at the worst.

I used it a lot the 1st few days and I was home more and I did notice the dry flakey skin improved. They did feel more hydrated. They were also less 'angry' looking. Some parts disappeared all together! Win!

However when I went back to work and was only using this morning and night I wasn't doing as well. I think going forward I need to have it with my during the day also.

I tried this cream on my legs and arms also. I would recommend doing this at night. This is because it creates a barrier layer on the skin. It makes it extremely difficult to pull up gym tights haha! It also transfers white marks onto black clothing.I changed to using this at night and it worked well.

Overall made my skin feel smoother. I am definitely keen to keep using this product as early signs are positive.

I really liked this product, it had a great thick texture and no scents/purfumes etc. I used it on my neck + chest, as well as arms and backs of thighs where I tend to get rough\ bumpy skin.

This cream definitely smoothed and soothed my skin and felt very nice to have on. It’s super thick but applies and soaks in well without leaving a cast. Because it is so thick, I didn’t feel comfortable using it on my face, and preferred to stick with body.

I had a look online and see the price seems very reasonable, the product goes far and I think the tube will last me a while.

The packaging is basic, not as ‘pretty’ as other brands but I feel it would appeal to broad range of ages. I would have liked this more in a pump bottle but assume it it probably to thick to pump out.

Overall, I saw and felt an improvement in the texture of my skin and I think with continued use it will be even better. I would recommend this to anyone struggling with dry and bumpy skin as it is a great price and worked for my skin, so can’t hurt to give it a go.

I am a big believer in trying new products. This one worked for me so well. In conjunction with the cleanser I noticed a MASSIVE difference to my red bumpy arms. For years I have been told to exfoliate properly but you do the whole 'towel' trick and that never works. I noticed that the bumps on my arms lessened and they were so much smoother. My partner even noticed and I'm so stoked. It has been such an insecurity of mine these bumps and literally nothing has helped before. This product is a lifesaver. I love the bottle as it comes straight out already being upside down. Great colours to have in the bathroom nice and subtle design. The cream itself is really thick and I found absorbs ok. I popped it on at night before bed so that it could have full effect. I didn't notice any stinging or any uncomfortable feeling when using it which I was worried about. Two weeks of using this and great results. I absolutely LOVE this product and will be buying both of these again.

I liked this product as it was surprisingly dense/thick in texture while also being light to apply. Fragrance free is a bonus and my skin feels like there is a protective layer added from the cream and isn't oily. There is a tingling reaction on my skin, in a good way. particularly around the T-zone (cheek/ nose). After a week I don't see a visible difference in appearance yet, but skin feels great after using the product. Does what the packaging says which is softens and smooths rough skin. Will definitely try this when I have an eczema flare up.

Used in conjunction with the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser, so difficult to say whether this product alone was effective, or the combination of the Cleanser and Cream.

Love that this is a desant size moisturizer. I used it on both my face and body and found it to worked well to smooth and moisturize rough dry irritated areas such knees and elbows. The consistancy of the product I found to be quite a firm cream and on application felt smooth and soothing. I have quite bad eczema on my arms and lathering this moisturizer on after showering with the cleanser has really helped illiminate roughness and smooth the feel of my skin. Would buy this in the future.

This is a really, really good moisturiser!

I've been using it primarily on my body as it is quite thick and rich. Although in saying that, I used this on a persistent dry patch on my cheeks and it cleared it within 2 uses!

I like the packaging, its functional with clear information.

This cream is great at smoothing and hydrating rough areas like knees, elbows and feet. I've been using this with the matching cleanser to great success at reducing KP on the backs of my arms.

I will be repurchasing this in a bigger pack size!

After using the cleanser in this line you will be wanting to use the smoothing cream because the difference to your skin when combining the two will be amazing.The packaging while it is not what I would call aesthetically pleasing it is however functional and simple to use with a fip top lid giving a drip free application.The cream has no fragrance is white in colour and is a very thick consistency but super easy to rub into your skin with no greasy or sticky after feel and quickly absorbs.I wasn't too sure about applying this to my face but after reading the instructions and seeing the words avoid the eyes I figured it must be ok so I went ahead and used a couple of small squirts from the tube gently rubbing into my face then I applied enough to cover my hands, arms and legs which is where I am most prone to dryness and a few of those niggly little red bumps.I found I did not need to use a lot of the product to make a difference to my skin so a little goes a long way and the beauty of this amazing product is it continues to work so you don't need to keep applying throughout the day.I noticed within a few short minutes how soft and smooth my skin felt without any greasy feeling and no dryness in sight hallelujah!!! As a regimen the combination of the smoothing cleanser and the cream is a must especially if you are prone to dry easily irritated skin because not only will they leave your skin cleansed and moisturised but they exfoliate too giving you lovely smooth hydrated skin that looks healthy.Price wise for this size tube it is not too badly priced considering you don't need to use a great deal of the product and you don't need to keep applying it all day so I would say it's pretty good value.In all honesty this product has been a game changer for me struggling with dry scaly skin for many years but not anymore so thank you BR team for introducing me to such an amazing product I will definitely be continuing with this range It's a massive thumbs up from me!
