I have combination skin that tends to get very oily in some areas and dry in others so I often find it hard to find a cleanser that balances my skin out. This stuff works great for balancing out my skin and cleansing it- it's not in any way harsh yet it removes excess oil greatly.

So good. Doesn't over-dry your skin at all, and it makes it really soft and smooth. Only beef is that it doesn't really remove make-up very well, so sometimes you need to wash your face twice to get everything off. However, it is so gentle with removing eye make-up so that's definitely a bonus!
I've been using Cetaphil for years, but till I came to BR I never thought of it as a face cleaner. After reading other users raving about it, I thought I'd give it a try.
I've been using it as a face cleaner now for about a month, and it generally works quite well. My only complaint is (like other posters have commented) I have to wash my face at least twice to get some of my makeup off. Usually it's areas like the eye area that I've used a heavy duty concealer on. It's been really good with areas that I'm prone to breaking out - I have noticed a slight reduction in some of my problem areas.
While I do like it as a face cleaner, I don't think I'll give up my regular product - but it is nice to have a back-up, and it's a must-have for me as a body wash.
I like that it's got very, very little scent, and it's soap free - because of this I'd used it as a body wash. It doesn't over-dry and it cleans quite nicely.
It is shameful for me to admit that in my 22 years of existence, I have never had a good, steady skin care routine! Up until a few weeks ago, I was lucky to cleanse my face once every month. Don't get me wrong, I did use face wipes to remove my make up most nights, but I never had a routine. Now, I use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser every night and most mornings too. I have normal/dry skin and this solution is so gentle on my skin I have had absolutely no irritation from it whatsoever and it is incredibly kind to your eyes! My skin has gone from having a few spots around my nose and chin to being one hundred percent clear! (Touch wood). I love that it can be used with or without water and it leaves my skin feeling clean and silky smooth!
Tips: I massage the Cetaphil cleanser into my skin without any water and then remove with a lukewarm face cloth. I immediately follow with a Cetaphil moisturiser! I try to do this every morning and night but if I'm running late (as we all sometimes are) I just do it at night time, but I always moisturise in the morning at least.
I started using Cetaphil about 2 years ago and haven't looked back since. This is the perfect cleanser. I find the formula very soft and creamy, and so gentle on the skin. I usually put the size of a 10c pience in my hand and add a few droplets of water, before mixing it in my palm and then applying to my face. My skin feels very soft afterwards and refreshed. The icing on the cake is how inexpensive this stuff is. Love it!
Sensitive combination skin can be such a difficult skin-type to find a good cleanser for, but cetaphil is so good! It doesn't leave skin red or sore and is great at removing makeup and excess oil/dirt. Overall, a really good daily cleanser to be used with/without a moisturiser
After my second baby, my skin when out of control, I suffered from lots of big sore pimple on my cheeks. Being a woman of colour, I am prone to scaring. I had heard that Cetaphil was good cleanser for sensitive or problem skin. I purchased a small bottle. The consistency is cream like, and the smell is quite neutral, it doesn't lather, but cleans the face nicely without stripping the skin like a surfactant would, which means that my face didn't dry out. It helped my skin to balance out, and my breakouts came under control. A good product. Would recommend.
I would really recommend this cleanser. It is gentle on your skin and doesn't dry it out like other cleaners do. It lasts for ages as you don't need to use much each time you wash your face. You can also buy a smaller bottle which is great for travelling. It will only remove very light makeup, so you have to use a light scrub or face wipes to remove thicker makeup. There is also a great moisturiser in this range.
I love using Cetaphil, the gentle skin cleanser is great for sensitive, and pimple prone skin. I love to apply both day and night after washing my face. Kind to skin, light and easy to apply. It is a light cleanser that won't dry the skin out or strip the skin of its natural oils. I tip I found in while reading a magazine was to apply baking soda to create a gentle scrub.
Tips: Add baking soda to use as a gentle scrub!
This cleanser I started using because it is for sensitive skin. I have normal/combo skin however in the mornings I like to use a gentle cleanser before starting the day. It has really helped my skin clear up as I had a wee bit of acne especially with the hormonal part of the month. All round this cleanser is really nice and does everything it claims to do. Happy with the product!
Tips: If you are wanting to get a good exfoliating tip, use with a facial sponge. Works like magic.
