This cleanser I started using because it is for sensitive skin. I have normal/combo skin however in the mornings I like to use a gentle cleanser before starting the day. It has really helped my skin clear up as I had a wee bit of acne especially with the hormonal part of the month. All round this cleanser is really nice and does everything it claims to do. Happy with the product!

Tips: If you are wanting to get a good exfoliating tip, use with a facial sponge. Works like magic.
I have been using Cetaphil on and off for a number of years & this year I have gone back to using cetaphil as my primary face wash. My skin is sensitive and some products dry out my face, so this cleanser works well for me to use everyday followed by the Cetaphil moisturiser. This also works well for removing make up- especially eye make up. IT's gentle and has no smell so would be perfect for most skin types !
Great on skin, doesn't leave it dry and and in need of moisturizer. Is great to use every day. One of my favourite products for my face, love the oily skin cleanser.
Tips: Use it morning and night, and works best if you wash your face with warm water first.
I have combination skin that tends to get very oily in some areas and dry in others so I often find it hard to find a cleanser that balances my skin out. This stuff works great for balancing out my skin and cleansing it- it's not in any way harsh yet it removes excess oil greatly.
So good. Doesn't over-dry your skin at all, and it makes it really soft and smooth. Only beef is that it doesn't really remove make-up very well, so sometimes you need to wash your face twice to get everything off. However, it is so gentle with removing eye make-up so that's definitely a bonus!
I've been using Cetaphil for years, but till I came to BR I never thought of it as a face cleaner. After reading other users raving about it, I thought I'd give it a try.
I've been using it as a face cleaner now for about a month, and it generally works quite well. My only complaint is (like other posters have commented) I have to wash my face at least twice to get some of my makeup off. Usually it's areas like the eye area that I've used a heavy duty concealer on. It's been really good with areas that I'm prone to breaking out - I have noticed a slight reduction in some of my problem areas.
While I do like it as a face cleaner, I don't think I'll give up my regular product - but it is nice to have a back-up, and it's a must-have for me as a body wash.
I like that it's got very, very little scent, and it's soap free - because of this I'd used it as a body wash. It doesn't over-dry and it cleans quite nicely.
It is shameful for me to admit that in my 22 years of existence, I have never had a good, steady skin care routine! Up until a few weeks ago, I was lucky to cleanse my face once every month. Don't get me wrong, I did use face wipes to remove my make up most nights, but I never had a routine. Now, I use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser every night and most mornings too. I have normal/dry skin and this solution is so gentle on my skin I have had absolutely no irritation from it whatsoever and it is incredibly kind to your eyes! My skin has gone from having a few spots around my nose and chin to being one hundred percent clear! (Touch wood). I love that it can be used with or without water and it leaves my skin feeling clean and silky smooth!
Tips: I massage the Cetaphil cleanser into my skin without any water and then remove with a lukewarm face cloth. I immediately follow with a Cetaphil moisturiser! I try to do this every morning and night but if I'm running late (as we all sometimes are) I just do it at night time, but I always moisturise in the morning at least.
it took me a very long time to find a cleanser which didnt make me breakout, i have fairly normal skin which doesnt get oilly but when i change products too much i get rashes all over my face. But as soon as i started to use cetaphil gentle cleanser, the rashes left after a day, and my skin would hardly ever breakout. This has been a life saver and i always repurchase it. I use it morning and night and it does help to take off my makeup. It doesnt dry out my skin either so overall an amazing face product!
This is the one product I always seem to go back to for cleansing. Great for getting make-up off and really getting the skin clean. I really like this but I aways need to make sure to moisturise extremely well after using as I do find it quite stripping. So for this reason I don't know if I would recommend to those with oily skin as you might find it to stripping and only make your skin worse. I really like this for sensitive skin as I have never had a problem with it increasing my redness or burning/stinging. A good all rounder product and a great starter for someone who hasn't used skincare in the past.
This cleanser is perfect for sensitive skin. It isn't drying and doesn't make your skin feel tight. It doesn't froth or foam like some cleansers so at first I didn't feel like it was actually washing my face. But it does really clean your skin without drying it out. Best to be used after taking your make up off first.
Tips: Buy a mini sized bottle for travel or your gym bag
