A lot of ppl rave about this product especially dermatologist. So I tried it, I was told soap free is good but this game me a pimple outbreak. Same thing happened to my friend.

Reviews
I haven't used a supermarket cleanser in ages. I always pick good, natural skincare brands. But after reading on the raves on this product I had to give it a shot. I was impressed, I saw SLS in it so I sort of expected it to foam but it didn't. It also was much gentler then I expected. If I liked the ingredients I'd probably repurchase it but I'm not fond of the list so I don't plan to buy it again.
Tips: It's a good cleanser if you're traveling and want a face cleanser and shower gel instead of packing two separate products.
My first thoughts on this product was that it was some sort of soap, just because the packaging doesn't look like your normal face washes & the name of the product sounded quite medical lol but this product is good because you can buy this cleanser in large quantities (500ml) & it lasts a really long time. It has a smooth kind of creamy yet runny texture & is really gentle on my skin because I often find facial cleanses tend to dry out my skin but this doesn't ! It removes my make up & leaves my skin feeling soft & pimple free! I like it & would Reccomend you to try it especially if you suffer from having sensitive skin this is a must :)
Great product under $20, such a big bottle with pump so you get the right amount.
This is awesome for sensitive skin and eczema, my sister has eczema and this helped her so much as well as the moisturizer. I would recommend getting the moisturizer to go with this.
My skin feels so much softer after using this, and it dosen't leave my skin feeling dry or stripper after using it, which even some pricier cleansers do. and again for best results use the moisturizer from Cetaphil as well :)
I some times even use this on my body, as it works extremely well and for that price I can use some on my body whereas with some of the pricier cleansers I don't want to waste the product on my body.
This has no smell, and it dosen't really produce an bubbles, I like foam cleansers as the foam makes me feel like its working really well, but this have no foam, and no fragrance which is very good for sensitive skin.
Overall I think this is a great product and I would definitely recommend buying this and it also is a great value for money as well !!
I bought this on recommendation from my nana who uses this as her daily cleanser (she has semi sensitive skin) so thought it would be worth giving a go. I have really sensitive skin which is on the dry side and prone to eczema and rashes/breakouts if my skin doesn’t agree with something. I was pleasantly surprised at the price, not a break the bank cleanser so was excited to give this a try. Packaging was nothing to write home about but to be honest I’m not that fussy on how my cleanser is bottled (of course I am always a sucker for a pretty bottle but it’s not a decider) as it hides under my bathroom sink. I used my coconut oil/rosehip oil mixture to remove my makeup first as this sais that it only removes light makeup so it won’t be any match for the benefit mascara I wear. I rinsed my face with water and then used the CETAPHIL cleanser worked into a lather, the pump was good and distributed enough product ( I hate it when pumps get stuck and you have to pump a couple of times and then end up with too much!). The cleanser itself was quite thin it felt a bit like a thin lotion, I rinsed off again with water and followed with moisturiser. At first I quite liked this it was gentle on my skin left it feeling clean and fresh but not stripped or anything and didn’t leave any residue. It also did get rid of or diminish my hormonal pimples that I get flare up and down all month so this was a really pleasant surprise for me. Unfortunately for me after a few more weeks of using this I found that it started to dry my skin out - It didn’t dry it out totally but enough that I stopped using it, I really don’t like anything that dries out my skin even an eensy bit. All in all I wouldn’t buy this again for me but I would probably still recommend friends to try it out as an option just not if they have really dry skin.
I originally bought this for my teenagers to use as they had troublesome skin. I thought I'd try it and found it really gently on my skin. I found I only needed half a pump. Didn't leave my skin craving for moisturiser and my skin felt and looked clean. I always do a test by using another cleanser straight after and then seeing if the cotton wool has dirt on it - my skin was clean! My teenagers also said they like it as well as my husband.
Initially we could only get it from the chemist so was pleased to see it available at the supermarket and slightly cheaper. The pump bottle is handy to have in the shower.
Tips: Good for all ages
My flatmates all use this cleanser, some of whom had bad acne when they were younger, and rave about how gentle it is on the skin. It personally didnt work for me though, i found that i still had break outs on it, maybe it wasnt cleaning my skin enough. It works better then i first use a solution to take my make up off and then use it afterwards to cleanse my skin however it is not a product that i would by again.
This is a staple cleanser! i often stray away to try new things but always come back to this. If you get the big container its pretty good value for money. perfect for all skin types, lovely consistency. The only issue i have is that sometimes i feel as if its too gentle to do anything and that its not actually working but it must be good because i always come back to it!
I was really disappointed with Cetaphil everyone claims to love it so I went all out and bought the largest pump bottle and I was pretty distraught after finding out how allergic I am to this so called 'hypoallergenic cleanser'. I also find the texture quite strange, its slimy kind of gel like (and doesn't foam which I appreciate) but it doesn't seem to remove makeup well at all and it doesn't completely wash off either - it leaves an almost tacky film behind which my skin seems to not like whatsoever and I broke out all over my face and neck in hives. Overall I would personally not recommend and my ultra sensitive skin prefers good old Ponds cold cream over this. Mind you I am also very allergic to another recommended product for us sensitive skin folks (Aqueous Cream) which is very weird as it is such a benign product.
Tips: Get a sample if you are ultra-sensitive before committing to a large bottle!
I love this skin cleanser and use it daily! It makes my skin feel so clean and fresh but has also helped clear up my skin heaps!
The fragrant is quite pleasant and it's great how it comes in large bottles so it lasts for ages. Its also a nice smooth consistency on my skin. Highly recommend!
