I have eczma and very sensitive, dry skin. This product is suitable even for my face. In fact - my mum was recommended it by a dermatologist as a gentle, caring and effective facial cleanser, over more expensive products. I have never reacted to it and it doesn't dry out my skin. I continue to use and love it.

Tips: Replace your facial cleanser (and body wash) with this gentle formula.
I love this cleanser so so much. When I was studying I began having a lot of breakouts due to stress, it was awful, I never was that spotty as a teenager so I had no clue what to do, and my skin is quite sensitive so any of the acne destroying face-washes usually just ended up making it worse. I use cetaphil twice a day in combination with a rosewater and witch hazel toner -$10 a bottle from the pharmacy and honestly the combination works better for me then a lot of high end products. My skin is completely clear and smooth now.
Tips: A lot of supermarkets sell this product now so you don't even have to make a special trip to the pharmacy or anything to buy it!
This is by far one of the best cleansers I've ever used! I have very sensitive, quite dry skin so this is an amazing product for me. Its super gentle, but does the job well. Removes makeup and dirt of off my face but does not leave my skin feeling dry or tight like some others do. awesome for breakouts of acne ext.
I had heard alot of talk about this product and though I would give it a try. I have dehydrated sensitive skin and I also suffer from rosacea around my nose, so this product sounded perfect for me to try!
As it doesn't have any perfumes or scents to it, it didnt aggitate my skin at all and felt gentle and soothing.
If you like cleansers that lather up than this one is not for you, it is almost a milky lotion that gently cleans your skin. I like to use this with my clarisonic after I have removed most of my make up with a wipe.
It doesn't leave your skin feeling tight or dry but leaves it feeling fresh and clean. It also lasts for ages if you get the larger sized bottle and it is quite cheap!
I first tried Cetaphil as a poor student, years ago, and I remember texting everyone to rave about it, to the point where friends were asking if I was being paid to promote the stuff (which I wasn't). A few years down the track, and I'd tried many new things, discovering what worked best for my skin as I age.
Just recently, after investing in a sonic cleansing brush, I needed something basic, with no bells or whistles or beads or anything, to use with it. And something that was easy on the budget too, because that month was tight. I picked up a value pump bottle of cetaphil from Farmers, and rekindled my love affair with this product.
It's very mild and gentle, and leaves the skin smooth and free of residue. It removes sweat, oil and foundation, but not eye makeup (wasn't expecting it to though, use oil for that!) It's great value for money, and not overly scented; in fact it barely smells at all.
Tips: Great with a sonic cleansing brush.
I love this cleanser I use it every single day and have so for a few years now. Was recommended by a friend. Very gentle on the skin and doesn't dry it out. I have normal to oily skin. You can use alone or with water. I've used it with an electric face brush and works well. You can also use it on your body, and can remove light makeup. It doesn't have a fragrance which I think is nice.
Tips: Best tip I can give is to add a small amount of baking soda once the cetaphil is in your hand, this acts as a gentle exfoliant.
I swear by this cleanser I have used it for years now and my Mum swears by this cleanser since she was 16. I Always end up going back to this cleanser after trying different ones out. I it super gentle and never dries my skin out. This cleanser is in no way harsh at all I find some cleansers tend to strip my skin but this one does not. Cetaphil is very natural and has no scent to it. This removes makeup and is gentle enough on the eyes. After toning I think all my makeup has been taken off.
Tips: If you have oil skin they have a cleanser for the oily skiin. There are many types of cleansers but the Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser is my holy grail.
I've been using this for about 6 or 7 years now and have never looked back. I have super sensitive skin which reacts to scented cleansers and those wet wipe things, so after trying Cetaphil to remove my makeup without any reaction I've stuck by it. Its a white gel like formula with no scent and is fairly runny. I buy a big bottle which lasts me over a year using a pump or two a day for my face. Its gentle enough to use it straight on a cotton pad and also removes eye makeup. If you suffer from eczema this is also a great body wash (thankfully my body doesn't protest to perfumed soaps) as its unscented its perfect for even the most sensitive skin. Great value for money, lasts ages and multipurpose- win!
Tips: I always use a toner to remove any traces of makeup and cetaphil on my face after using this, this helps to leave your free of all makeup!
This would have to be my holy grail beauty product. I turned to it when my skin turned into a pimply oil slick when I was pregnant and I have never looked back. I only wish I had of known about this when I was a 15 year old spending a lot of money on proactiv!
It is gentle ; I have really dry skin and it doesn't dry it out because it doesn't strip your skin of any of it's natural oils.
It's so convenient ; you can smear it onto your dry skin rub it in and then wipe the excess off with a tissue, or you can wet your face, rub it in and then wipe off with a tissue OR you can do either of these but wash it off with water. Couldn't be easier really.
You don't have to worry about it stinging your eyes or getting that horrible 'have I just had a facelift' tight skin after using it.
I honestly could not reccommend a better all round cleanser. You can even use it on your body!
Tips: A little goes quite a way!
Ever since I bought it a year ago, it has been a staple in my bathroom. I use it at night and it honestly, leaves my skin feeling super clean, hydrated and soft. It doesn't lather well but the results are definitely worth it!
Tips: Recommended for sensitive or acne-prone skin
