I use the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser every day in the shower. It's a lot calmer on the skin compared to the other cetaphil products and does a really good job of cleansing without stripping everything from the face. I use to remove makeup from around my eyes and don't need to worry about it irritating my eyes. A staple in my daily routine.

Reviews
This cleanser is really lovely. It is so gentle and creamy if feels so lovely on. They have clearly taken great care in making it a cleanser that is good for all skin. I think some people (including myself) have been fooled into thinking that the more you clean your skin the less likely you are to have breakouts! Wrong! So I have found out. But it did take me a long time to learn this. The more that I have used gentle and moisturising products the better my skin has been. To be honest I've had this sitting in the cupboard for a while. I have a friend who has beautiful skin and swears by Cetaphil products so I thought I'd give them a try, however I love my clinique bar cleansers so much I just haven't until I ran out. My skin feels so good to the touch and other products go on so nicely after cleansing. It won't strip all the healthy oils from your skin.(I swear it's ok to not be squeaky clean!) Anyway, I would definitely use this again. I do still love my clinique bar cleanser but this would be a very close second, only because I'm completely stuck in my ways!
I had itchy dry skin and this cleansed my skin gently and thoroughly. I found I needed to do a double cleanse if I had makeup on but for general cleansing this is highly recommended - especially if you are having skin flare ups.
I love using this product. I use it every morning as a whole body wash. The scent is a draw back (though you don't want perfumed to be fair) as it's a bit blah and it doesn't clean off make up fully, but as an all over shower wash my skin loves it. I have never reacted to it either which I love! Good for shaving too.
Tips: You don't have to use water to wash it off but I would highly recommend it.
Ever since highschool I've suffered from keratosis pilaris, which is for those of you who don't know what that means, A condition that causes rough patches and small, acne-like bumps on the skin. So here's my take on this product which helped me with reducing my keratosis pilaris. I've started using it when we moved here in NZ, I've seen an improvement with my skin using this product, maybe because it helps to moisturize my skin specially with this cold weather. Also pairing it with a exfoliating scrub. I'll continue using it, who knows I may finally get rid of my skin problem. Cheers!
Tips: Best to use after using an exfoliating scrub. But do not over exfoliate your skin, 1 or 2 a week is advisable.
This product is not part of my current skincare routine however I have previously used it (I think it was for around 5 months)
I think this is a great product for sensitive and dry skin as it is light, creamy and not harsh. I have friends that are currently using it and absolute love it. It does not have a strong fragrance in my opinion and I like the look of the ingredient list which has ingredients great for if you have a damaged skin barrier.
However the only reason it is not currently apart of my routine is I just find I need something a little stronger to help remove a days worth of makeup and sunscreen.
Tips: Great for sensitive and dry skin. I know a lot of dermatologists recommend as it is affordable and versatile for any age group
I originally used this product as a facial cleanser but found it did not give me the results I wanted and was not removing my makeup as well as it should've. Since then I have switched from using it on my face to my body and it has been amazing. It works better than all of the body washes I've tried and leaves my skin feeling clean without stripping it of its natural oils. I would reccommend this for anyone who is sensitive to body washes or gets itchy from using them.
Tips: If using as facial cleanser use a oil based cleanser first
This was the first cleanser I got when I started getting acne and it has always been a favourite. I have never had any issues with this cleanser and would recommend it to anyone who needs a simple cleanser for dry sensitive skin. It is a good staple to have available whenever your skin is being fussy.
Tips: Follow up with a moisturiser to keep your skin nice and hydrated. This isn't an overly drying cleanser but it is good practice to keep your skin healthy and happy.,
One of my go-to cleansers right now. I like how smooth my face feels after using this. However, I would not use this for the purpose of removing make up as it does not get everything off as stated above. Overall this is a great light weight cleanser.
Tips: I use it after my foaming cleanser and it helps to get the last of any remaining gunk off of my face
I have dry, sensitive skin, so I prefer to use a cream cleanser over a foaming one, as they usually moisturise while they cleanse. I was interested to try this cleanser because it is designed for sensitive skin, is gentle, and fragrance free. The one I used was the 125ml version, which has a flip-top blue cap. The bottle is white with Cetaphil’s blue and green labelling.
The product itself is a pearly white. It was easy to squeeze out of the bottle, and to apply to my damp face. The bottle advises that you can also apply this to dry skin. It massaged well into damp skin, and felt creamy and moisturising on my face. It did not cause any irritation to my eyes or skin, and there is no fragrance to speak of. It also rinsed off easily in warm water, and left no residue. The bottle also advises that you can use this to remove light makeup, and I did find that light makeup came off after a wash with this.
I really liked this cleanser. I think it is a great option if you have sensitive, dry skin.
