I found this product quite greasy and so I couldn't use it on my face. I would recommend as a general moisturiser for legs etc... as it is basic and affordable. However I tend to prefer nice smelling body lotions

Reviews
This moisturiser feels heavy and can feel greasy. I have dry skin so need to moisturise atleast twice a day but avoid using this one as I just do not like the feel of it on my skin. Depending on the size of the bottle, the larger ones can get quite expensive. I would not pay for the product as I know there are better ones out there that suit my skin better.
Tips: If you have oily skin, this product can feel greasy and take a fair bit to soak into the skin.
I've been using my large bottle of cetaphil moisturiser on my face for about half a year now, daily. I have sensitive skin, and heaps of friends suggested I use a brand like cetaphil, since they claim to be good on sensitive skin. When I first began to use it, my skin felt like it was burning! I asked the Beauty department at Farmers, they told me that the ingredients might be quite harsh on my skin, and suggested I use a more natural, less acidic formula of moisturiser instead.
Fast forward to now, my skin doesn't get that burning sensation anymore, I guess my skin got used to it.
Compared to most moisturisers, I found that the texture was thick and gloopy, sort of like sunblock. Also, it does not have an SPF rating at all, which is a bit of a downer, since most moisturisers these days at least offer SPF 15...
But it does keep your face moisturised throughout the day, and lasts for ages since they come in big bottles! (From 250ml)
Tips: It felt like it was burning my skin, but after consistent use, it no longer irritates. But definitely ask an expert, in case your experience is different to mine!
For this trial I stopped using my usual moisturizer altogether in order to get a good feel for what this product does. I used this product as a replacement for my all over body moisturizer during the trial and found it to be fairly effective at first. It kept my skin up to the usual standard that I am accustomed to for the first few days. Its non-greasy feel and ability to dry quickly so as not to come off on your clothing is very true to label, no weird smells spreads well onto the skin and absorbs very well. I am however unfortunate to have temperamental skin that reacts to a few unknown ingredients (still working those ones out as I go along) but apart from a few minor issues that I'm certain are specific to my own skin the product did wonderfully at what it said it would do. While personally I won't use again due to my own personal issues for those who don't have reactive skin like myself it could be a good option for those who have oily or combination skin due to its ability to hydrate the skin and its non-comedogenic properties.(doesn't block pores)
Tips: It may be made for all skin types but if you're the type like me to get reactions to ingredients from your sensitive skin reacting to ingredients unknown you'll be better to avoid. If you don't have reactive skin like me this one will do you well
No so long ago, it seemed like every man and his dog, were raving how good this moisturizer is. So I decided to give it a try, I was happy with my current moisturizer, but the hype was so good! I have a love hate relationship with Cetaphil, it was horrible as a face moisturizer for me, it felt too thick, like it was just sitting on the top of my skin, maybe its my 40's dry skin? I have no idea, but as moisturizer to put on a bit of sun burn etc, I like it! so it gets mixed reaction from me. I'll just keep it away from my face.
Tips: It's worth purchasing, just don't get too excited!
well, this is a really good moisturiser when i have dry patches and to use when i'm not going to be wearing makeup straight after applying it. i didn't feel like it absorbed quick enough like i like my day moisturisers to do. probably really good for sensitive skin as it has no fragrance. but just not really what i'm looking for in a moisturiser. hubby likes using it after a shave
Tips: if you don't like it...give it to hubby for after shave moisturiser
"Clinically proven to hydrate and protect dry skin for 24 hours," that's what the tube said. It also claimed to be non-greasy, fragrance-free and dermatologist recommended. I was wondering if this would be similar to Aveeno which is one of my fave body lotion options. This lotion is non-greasy, it absorbs pretty quickly and is decently hydrating. It isn't all natural the ingredients are water, glycerin, hydrogenated polysobutene, cetearyl alcohol, macadamia nut oil, shea butter, acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, sodium polyacrylate, phenoxyethanol, vitamin e, ceteareth-20, stearoxytrimethylsilane, stearyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, farnesol, sodium PCA, panthenol, cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, citric acid and sodium hydroxide. So it's not natural, even though there are some skin loving ingredients it's just free of fragrance. So how does this compare to my fave Aveeno, I still like the Aveeno one better. This tube of Cetaphil was given to me otherwise I wouldn't have picked it up. I hear of some people using it on their face, I don't because I have come a long way and I prefer to treat my face to products specifically for my face, but there was a time when I would've used this as a facial moisturizer as well. It is a decent choice for moisturizing my body and stops it itching from that post shower dryness. I probably won't be getting more once I use this up just because I have other body lotions I prefer and prefer Aveeno which happens to be more affordable as well.
Tips: This is a decent body lotion for anyone with dry skin, however I personally think Aveeno body lotion is better, especially the one with the blue top plus it's a bit cheaper especially when it's on sale. I have heard of people using this for their face, I personally prefer a proper facial moisturizer designed for my face but each to their own.
This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist at such an expensive price and I can just say that it is so not worth it. My dry skin is still dry. After every use I see no difference to my skin. It’s one of the thinnest moisturisers I’ve used. I won’t be purchasing another
I used this after having a reaction from another product and was the only thing that would settle my skin. However is very basic so moved on once my skin was back to normal.
I have sensitive skin, and this moisturizer was great for that - I had no reaction and it did help moisturize my skin. I liked the light formula as it didn't feel heavy on my skin or clog my pores. Unfortunately I do feel like this moisturizer took a long time to sink into my skin and left my skin looking very shiny after each use. For that reason alone I will not be purchasing this product again. I do have friends that didn't have this issue and it helped clear up their acne and really helped their skin - I think it definitely depends on your skin type. Because of this, I would recommend trying this product out for yourself to see if it works for you :)
