I had read a review on this after seeing Michelle Williams on Wizard of Oz. One of the products they used was this around her eyes. It looked beautiful; subtly sparkly. So I bought some and it truly is beautiful. I bought the silvery one.

Tips: I use a little above my eyes and sometimes on my cheekbones.
I love this eyeshadow. It is amazing. It is very smooth and easy to apply and it does not budge or crease at all. If this is applied to the whole lid, it makes a smoky eye by itself. It is so worth the price. It can be used in various ways and I imagine it would be amazing for highlighting. Best formula I have ever tried and i will not hesitate to repurchase.
Tips: Put all over the lid and make a wing with the shadow itself. Gives an amazing effect all by itself.
I own this in the shade Apparition. The eyeshadow comes in a heavy glass pot with the classic Chanel logo. The packaging feels very luxurious. Apparition is a midnight blue shimmer, the colour looks stunning. The colour is not the most wearable due to its heavy pigmentation a little of this goes a long way. The shadow has a lovely creamy bouncy texture, so it hasn't dried up quickly like my other creme eye shadows. The shadow is ridiculously pigmented, the colour payoff is amazing. This also has impressive staying power and lasts on my lids all day without any wear or creasing, and that's impossible as someone with very oily eyelids. I cannot say I've tried this as an eyeliner but I feel it would work well at that too. Overall, this is definitely a luxury eye shadow but you do get what you pay for, and if you can afford this, go for it.
This cream eyeshadow is stunning. I bought the shade Ultra Flesh. This is a lovely pinky-coral colour. I apply this all over my lid using either my finger or the small brush that comes with it. I find using my finger gives a more sheer wash, great for a subtle work look. And I use the brush if i want to build it up.
The formula is sooooo buttery and soft. It doesn’t crease or dry out. It’s stays looking smooth all day. I can’t wait to try other shades! I love the idea of a simple glowing makeup routine for the day-to-day wear and this ticks all the boxes: effortless application, long wearing formula, makes my green eyes pop.
Tips: Use your finger for an all over lid wash of colour and then use the small brush to build up the colour
Such a smooth and delicate cream eyeshadow! It goes on so nicely and blends like a dream! I love the colour range and they last on the eyelids really nicely. The only con is that they are expensive, and can dry out if you don't close the lid securely. Otherwise, a beautiful product.
This product turned out to be slightly different than I thought it would be. I was under the impression, from the lady at the Chanel counter, that it could be used like an eyeliner. It comes with a little angled brush, and she told me to use the brush to apply the product like an eyeliner, and that I would get a smooth line. Nothing like that! What it is, in fact, is a sheer and luxurious creme. When I tried to apply as an eyeliner, it was too sheer and didn't create any kind of impressionable line. The product didn't sit nicely when I applied more - it is really a blending eyeshadow. Still, I adore it as an eyeshadow. It doesn't crease at all during the day, and it brings some shine to your eyes. I love it so much that I bought another one in a white colour for some shimmer.
Tips: I use the white shimmer on my cheekbones when going out in the evening.
This is the first Chanel product that I ever bought. Just a taste of luxury. I was so pleased when it turned out that it was a really good product as well. I use this with my fingers and it is really easy to blend. Great sparkly colour. Doesn't crease and is a great colour to use as a base for other shadows. I like that this blends out really nicely so you can get a nice bold look on the lids and blend it out as well. I like that this colour is a nice basic.
Tips: If you are buying something expensive like this I think it is a great idea to get a basic everyday colour that you will use a lot. Brings a bit of luxury to an everyday look.
