The strawberry flavour over Revlon's spice lip liner was my go-to every day nude lip for years but lately I have been using this only ocassionally when needed for sun protection as I am trying to phase out my paraben containing cosmetics. I have never found this drying but it is definitely not the most moisturizing but it is one of the best lip sunscreens I have used and I have never been burnt whilst wearing it. The strawberry has a nice very slight tint of pink which when combined with a nude lipliner makes for a very natural looking lip. I will always love the smell/flavour of this product but I will not buy again unless they remove the parabens.

Tips: Good cheap nude lipfor under $5 - simply apply over a natural toned lip liner and you are good to go!
I used to really like this product and especially liked the strawberry one and also the one that came in the black tube. I was after a new chapstick and thought, why not try this again? so I bought the red one (strawberry). The smell is amazing! and I like that it comes in the stick because I really dislike using lip products that come in a pottle. However, I have found that this product stings my lips :( and hasn't left them feeling very moisterised at all (probably because of the stinging causing irritation instead). I feel like my lips heat up when I apply this product.
I do still use it, I just apply sparingly but if I lose it or finish it, I don't think I will be purchasing again because of my reaction to it
Well this product is ok for a temporary moisture fix. It comes in a compact sized twist up container also in a variety of flavours. The lid is a clip lid for easy access and on the go. I found this product ok but not the best for chapped lips, it provided the needed moisture when I first applied it but noticed it wore off within 20min after applying it and needed to use more. The consistency of this was thick yet easy to glide on and must admit the strawberry flavour did taste yummy. This product is ok and I would only recommend if you're on a tight budget.
Tips: Drink lots of water and fluids to avoid chapped lips also use a lip exfoliant every now and then to rejuvenate the skin on your lips
Great product! Leaves my lips feeling soft and smelling yum (the strawberry one!). However for long term relief it isn't great. It also leaves a white coating on my lips and it collects in the corners of my mouth. Kinda yuck.
Now this is an oldie but goody. This has been around for a long time and is still a good old favorite of mine. Cheap and works really well. It's one of those things you usally have in your handbag or glove box of your car. There are so many varieties now available, it's wonderful. The only downside I found is that you can sometimes taste it in your mouth which is a bit put offish but apart from that your pout is moist And sun protected.
'Softens and protects' is possibly a tad far-fetched for this lip balm. It does moisturize for a short time; I felt like I was constantly applying it - not sure if this was particularly dry lips or the product not hydrating them enough. I often get a cracked bottom lip and this balm did little to soften it for long. As an overall lip balm I'd say it was alright but if you're looking for something that has long-lasting moisture or softness, try something else.
Tips: Cheap and cheerful, you can pick this product up and most supermarkets - often near the checkouts.
I find this Chapstick to be your very inexpensive go to when you are in a rush.
There is a load of variety when it comes to smells, flavours and colours which I think is a plus.
I don't think this would ever be my number one lip balm as I think it doesn't last very long and you have to keep reapplying but good as just a touch up lip balm.
This comes in the standard lip balm packaging which twists up. I've had this in strawberry and original. The strawberry has a nice taste to it.
I feel that these ones were a good touch up lip balm but are definitely not my pick for when I need actual hydration and protection. These don't last for very long and I have to constantly reapply throughout the day. I feel like my lips also feel a lot more chapped after using it. I do like that is has Spf as it's important to protect the delicate skin of the lips from uv radiation but ideally there should be both UVA and UVB protection. They're also really handy for on the go use.
Chapstick's chapstick would be one of those products that I grew up with.
As a lip balm it is more gender neutral than most lip balms due to the the more gender netural colour and styling of the packaging.
However, as a product I think there are better ones out there. I find chapstick ends up drying my lips out. The scents choices of the chap sticks are all pleasant, but I need something more moisturising.
The chap stick stic itself was standard quality and some lasted the whole time the chapstick was used while others got stuck half way through using the chapstick.
I think it's great chapstick packages itself in a way that make both men and women feel they can wear it, but I think they are short changing men since women will most likely go for more moisturising lip balms elsewhere.
These bring back fond memories !!! before becoming a blistex fiend i used to use the stawberry chapstick all throughout high school (some 10 + years ago lol) .. if they stopped making blistex i would definately use this again...one of the originals :) The chapstick's packaging is pretty average but it does the trick nice little handy size to pop into your handbag or even your pocket. Chapstick is quite moisturising its not to sticky or too greasy. Its reasonably hydrating but doesnt last as long as say blistex but you dont have to use it every few minutes either. I adore the smell of the strawberry chapstick, the original doesnt really have much of a smell at all. Really great price you cant complain and you can pick them up just about anywhere. I like to keep a few of these around as I tend to loose them!
Tips: Buy a couple and keep one in your handbag and one in your car.
