It ain't pretty, but it does the job! My lips get so dry in winter you could use them to sandpaper a dresser, and I've used every widely-available lip balm on the market.
My go-to is a plain non-tinted Nivea, because they're easily grabbable in the checkout aisle at Pak'N'Save and have a slightly nicer smell and 'feel' than Chapstick.
But Chapstick is more compact, cheaper and seems to last longer. It's also, apparently, more manly-looking - my husband doesn't refuse to use it! And unlike a lot of posher lip balms, it doesn't come in that annoying little unhygienic tin that leaves you with a greasy forefinger.
I love this chapstick and use it for everyday use unless I need a specific type of lip balm to help fix my lips. I tend to get quite dry lips and lots of skin peeling off which I know is gross but yeah... I find this lip balm to be very moisturising and hydrating though if you need some serious work on your lips I don't think I would suggest this straight away as you probably need a balm suited to help your situation/lips but overall I love it just for everyday use. My favourites are the original black one and the strawberry one.
