After extended use and then trying different lipbalms I have found that chapstick actually dries out my lips!! It provides a nice nourishing feeling after you put it on which lasts about an hour. But even then when you rub your lips together you can feel the waxy film on your lips creating a barrier between them and the world. Because of that waxy feeling I usually found that I ended up waiting until my lips started feeling dry, wiping off the excess waxyness, and then started the cycle all over again. Definitely not for me, I need a balm that is much more moisturizing.

I use these daily! They smell so good, and don't have that gross taste to them! They are so hydrating on my lips it's great. If you're a poor student like me, it doubles as a great brow gel ;)
I remember the first 'chapstick' I ever tried was this in strawberry, and still a go to for myself and my kids!
The price is as little as the 4g tube! Simple packaging and easy enough to use. Pop the white lid off, turn at the bottom and the stick pops up ready for use.
I first ever got this when working on farm and came home with dried out lips from being in the sun and wind all day without enough water. It wasn't pretty!
Results weren't instant but my lips felt softer and less chapped with this on. My lips looked better within 6 days of everyday use. I still have a few of these laying around the house and one in my handbag for when I'm out and about.
The formula is quite hard but softens as it touches the heat of the lip and glides on smoothly. It soothes dry chapped, cracked lips and my kids enjoying using it after a day out in the sun or wind, but we find best time to apply is before we go outside and do activities as the spf15 in it helps subside the drying out and cracking of the lips. Sometimes just to keep their lips soft, me included.
A stable for anyone and definitely one in our family.
this product is good for dry lips even cracked lips. i use this chapstick for when i go out of town and i even use it when i go out with mates and it works perfectly good. softer lips.
I have one of these in my handbag and in the car. The application is easy and no fragrance. I find myself reaching for this product when my lips are in need of repair that is nourishing and caring.
I love these lip balms, my favourite is definitely the strawberry which I feel like is more of a classic than the classic. My least favourite has got to be cherry, it has that medicated scent. It's definitely not the best out there but the price is decent so it's definitely worth it. Has a slight taste to it but it's nice so doesn't bother me. Overall would recommend if you just need something for slight cracked lips. If your lips are really bad I would go for some ointment
I will never go anywhere without a chapstick. So I will always have them scattered around the place. I love this chapstick. It's simple and cheap. I normally go for a plain one - not scented or coloured and this does the job nicely. I always will have at least one of these hidden away.
Tips: If left in warm places - be careful... It will melt.
I LOVE the classic lip balm!!! It is one of my favourite lip balms. I will have it on me all the time when I go out expect if I misplace it somewhere. I love how the packaging is in a small tube, which fits perfectly in my purse. The product smells like medicine, which I love, but if you don't like the smell of medicine then don't get classic. The last one that I used up lasted me for about 2 months. It is so good, it leaves my lips feeling soft and protect my lips from feeling dry.
I brought my Lip balm for $3.50. It is really cheap compared to other lip balms I had brought. The packaging is alright but I don't like it when the product twist easily because it will twist randomly in my pocket, which results in my lip balm moving upwards. This irritates me as I have to twist it back again and again.
I would seriously recommend it anyone that wants to try out something new or just want a change. Give it a try. You never going to know unless you try.
I have recently purchased the new 'Chapstick total hydration: tinted rose' which is 8.99NZD In my opinion, it is not the most hydrating tinted lip balm. The balm is quite dense and does not apply on dry lips as smoothly as other softer lip balms (which is not the quality I expected for that price). But the colour I chose give a nice natural rosy tone to my lips so I tend to use it when I want a natural look. Quite like how they upgraded their label quality, from the cheap plastic label (that I can never cut clean just around the top) to actually clean print on the case. :)
Tips: I prefer to hydrate my lips first with softer balm (eg. paw paw), then apply the tinted chapstick on the top for that healthy-looking rosy lips.
This a great classic Chapstick. It comes in basic chapstick tube. I use this in the strawberry flavor. It smells amazing. I use this on a regular basis and it always leaves my lips feeling nourished and moisturized. Will continue to purchase this product.
